Curl your hair without heat

I like the idea of being able to curl my hair without heat by sleeping with it in different ways, and have been experimenting a lot with it lately. For example, the "hair knots" I wrote about a long time ago in this post.

However, I have not tested anything that has been completely good, either everything comes loose during the night or the effect is not so visible. I'm used to my hair being fairly light-styled, but my slightly coarser hair extensions from Hair Talk is not as easy to work with that way. A braid gives nice wavy curls but otherwise I have not succeeded in 100%.

But I have to offer the results from my latest test - a bit the same principle as the knobs but still not really. The result was not nice, but a little fun :)

The pictures are a bit badly taken as I did not really plan to publish them, but once I put them on the computer I could not help but hehe.

Had the result been better, I would have been able to show step by step how to do this, but in short, you twist a strand of hair and roll it up on a piece of fabric that you tie together so that the ball stays in place.

This is what I looked like when I woke up, what a ruff haha!

  1. Imagine that, but with 7 cans of volume powder and all curls in different directions (there should only be two, but my hair is a bit magical) so you have my hair if I shower in the evening and go to bed without braiding / putting up the hair … I love my curls, but sometimes they can be a little too much…

  2. Nice! ;)
Rolling up on socks I think works great! You just divide the hair into two parts and roll up each part around a sock and make a knot with the ends. Gets great when you release it in the morning :)

  3. A similar principle is to use socks. Check out Youtube "curly hair with socks". Did not really work on the daughter, but we only tried once.
