Entrepreneur talk in the blog

Today I have:
♥ Started the day with a long morning of sleep, with my cat Carl-Philip cooing on his stomach
♥ Had breakfast in front of a romantic movie with Miska
♥ Drank coffee out on the stairs in the sun, it is still warm :)
♥ Took a long shower with hair wrap and scrubbed the whole body
♥ And now I sit in front of the computer with a face mask, freshly painted toenails and eat chocolate. The wood-burning stove is burning full here, and I feel completely calm in my soul!

It is very important to rest and treat yourself to everyday luxury. I'm in a stressful work period right now with everything new that has kicked off, even though of course everything is mega fun! And therefore I am terrified of losing the quality of life, you must not forget to live in the present and enjoy all the fun that happens - if you miss it, all career is unnecessary in any case. I have never built a career before, but if you are learning from the mistakes of others, it seems easy to stress so much that you do not have time to stop and enjoy. And all of a sudden you die without having lived the dream life that you have actually had.

Do you understand what I mean? Everyday luxury is really vital! :)

I started to reflect more on this after last Thursday, I was at City Hall's fashion show and took an AW with Tove Castor from Visualists. We are two girls who have known each other for about 3 years, and what did we talk about from beginning to end? Entrepreneurship! :)

Tove and I at the opening of Creative Makeup By Her!

Every time we sit down and talk, you get so heavenly inspired! You know when you just bubble ideas and time goes by so fast. When you have a slightly different job that I have, it is not possible to spray ideas like this with anyone, many come with advice but if you do not have full understanding, it is rarely suitable advice haha.

But Tove is one of the few people who actually comes up with really good ideas, and what struck me on Thursday was that there is so much to develop and do better, but that the only block that puts a stop is lack of time, and you have to realize that you can not do everything yourself. Then everything is done half-heartedly at the same time as you yourself stress apart.

But, instead of one's humanity putting a stop to it, one must instead think again! Why should I put a lot of work into things that I do not have time to do wholeheartedly, damn what a waste of resources!

I already have an employee in my company, and now I already have thoughts on more :) Nothing in the very near future, you have to make sure that it is financially possible as well, but I really think that if the cornerstone of a company (in this case I) have time and energy to do a few things wholeheartedly instead everything half-heartedly, the company will earn everyone's salary with gusto and develop much, much faster in any case.

Several of you have written to me that you get the urge to start your own when you read about the new store and salon - which makes me extremely happy! So I hope you get inspired, and even though this post was long and maybe a little diffuse, I wonder if you want to read more about entrepreneurship here in the blog? :)

I'm not a classic entrepreneur, I'm young, I take it one step at a time, and above all I do it my own way. Maybe it would be fun to get it as a natural part of the blog, a little "behind the scenes" in my career journey :) Or what do you think?

It was a bit of Sunday chatter, a rested brain that wanted to ventilate :) Now I'm going to make a cup of coffee and go through some makeup pictures that I have not published yet. Hugs are! ♥

  1. But oh JAAA! More entrepreneurship - you really are a super inspirer! Good with posts about worklife balance as well, it is important but often too difficult to remember and succeed with. Often it is career or quality of life instead of both. The two go together.
