The beauty industry is so skewed sometimes, it is basically impossible to know what to use and not.
A thing can sound super good, the meaning ”completely free of parabens“Attracts a lot of people who think you are shopping for a healthy, environmentally friendly product.
But if you do a deeper research into the ingredients, you can come up with anything!
I wrote a few days ago about Lumene's lip gloss pens, which market themselves with, among other things, the phrase "free from parabens" - a sentence that I was of course pleased to be able to write in the post!
But after reading Helen's text, I actually deleted it. And realized I need to start reading more about what I'm really writing about!
