Light glitter makeup with Crystalline

I actually think it's as much fun to show you colorful and creative make-up as it is to show simple "step by step tips" that you have use for in everyday life.

My makeup passion is based on product love and being able to teach unlike many other makeup artists who are more artist souls who paint on faces :)

Here is therefore exactly such a make-up where I show you how to quickly and easily enliven a light make-up with glitter and shimmer! The only things I have used are a luminous highlighter and a matte light brown shadow (contouring shadow) which is the same as I use on the face, then liquid glitter, a little black eye shadow (or eyeliner if you prefer) and mascara.

The result is a bright but shimmering make-up (sparkles even nicer in reality!) That suits all occasions - everything from everyday to gala! For me, it's my standard everyday look the days I do not take photos step by step to the blog;)

Face primer - Pixi Flawless & Poreless Primer
Concealer - glo Under Eye Concealer (Golden)
    Gelfoundation -
    Pixi H2O Skintint (2 Nude)
Mineral Foundation - glo Pressed Base (Golden medium)
(I have a lot of pimples on my jawbones right now, so I pulled on extra coverage in the areas with the mineral foundation because I wanted it to go pretty fast)
Powder that neutralizes redness - glo Redness relief powder
    Contouring - Contouring Palette (2)
    Rouge - Blush (35)
Highlighter - Pixi Glow-Y-Powder (London luster)
Fixing Mist - Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist
Powder - Paese Bamboo Silk Powder

Eyebrows - glo Micro Brow Pencil (Raven)

Lips - The lip pencil glo Lipliner (Moxie) in the contours and the colored lip balm Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm (Ripe Raspberry) in the middle.

This lip combo is my absolute favorite combo (have blogged about it before too) but especially now that I have a big cold sore on the side of the lower lip, gaah. But to create a little illusion, I put the lip pencil and darken the edges next to it, then the lip balm which is a little lighter and a little glossy in the middle - the transition ends up right at the cold sore and results in it becoming less prominent. It is barely visible in the pictures?

All products are available for purchase in my web shop!

Brightening up in the corner of the eye, the middle of the eyelid and just below the brow gives the look a more "popping" effect. I also apply a little faint with brown shade along the globe line to get even more effect.

This works on all eye shapes but I like it extra much on myself who has a pretty "flat" eyelid, do you understand what I mean by that? Then the eye gets a more rounded / 3D shape which is fun to cheat out sometimes :)

The highlighter and contouring shadow are the same as I have used on the face, Pixi Glow-Y-Powder (London luster) and Contouring Palette (2)

    1. Highlighter under the eyebrow, I do not put so wide but only just below
    2. Dab highlighter in the corner of the eye too
    3. … And in the middle of the eyelid (so I do not put on the whole eyelid)
    4. Brown contouring shadow over the globe line, very faint so you do not need any precision immediately, just swipe!
    5. Light glitter in the corner of the eye and in the middle of the eyelid, Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights (Crystalline)
    6. Black shadow along the lash line, for a sooty but discreet eyeliner, Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (602)
    7. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara

    Hope you were inspired!
