Something you can wear in the back of your head when you put on make-up and wear glasses, is that a party make-up that feels "very made-up" without glasses can feel just right when you put on a pair of frames that take over a little focus.
And in my opinion, there is almost nothing nicer than smokey eyes and glasses, so heavenly nice! In my post Smokey eyes - Teal as I showed here the other day, I took photos without glasses because the make-up is better visible then, but the fact is that all day at the salon I actually had a polo shirt, glasses with black, marked frames and that sooting. Love the contrasts! :)
You can have almost as much make-up around your eyes as you like, and it still looks like an everyday make-up with glasses and an everyday outfit.
The underside of the eyes
Something else I usually think about as well (which partly depends a bit on what shape you have on the frames, but it fits almost everyone) is that you like to put quite a lot of focus on the underside of the eyes.
If you look at my eyes with glasses, the top of the eyes disappears a little behind the frames, so if you want a make-up that is visible and "pops out", do not be afraid to put make-up on the underside of the eyes where the frames do not cover :) out without glasses becomes perfect when you put on the glasses.
Here I also have green on the underside, a color helps to highlight the eyes even more effectively!
There is a lot to talk about when it comes to makeup and glasses, but the last thing I want to say is that if you have a strong eye makeup and dark frames, do not forget to reflect on the lips as well. It is not wrong not to make up the lips, but if you want more balance in the face, put a color on the lips as well so that all focus does not end up in the same place on the face.
If you do not want anything on the lips, you can put a little extra blush on the cheeks instead (not a must either) to create more balance and harmony in the face :)
Now I, Miska and Annika will go out to dinner in town, after a hard day's work :) Hope you all have a nice evening too!
