The colors gold and brown that you suggest are great, both for her warm skin tone but also to emphasize her blue eyes! But watch out for shimmery eye shadows on the outer edges of the make-up, it is very nice on the eyelid and in the corner of the eye, but unfortunately highlights fine lines and such irregularities.
What can be good to keep in mind when applying make-up to a person who has slightly "older" eyes, is to tone down the eye shadows a lot so that there are no sharp lines. 3. Brown-apricot eye shadow next to the golden one.
4. Brown eye shadow at the end of the eyelid, at the end of the lower lash line and along the globe line.
