Wish make-up - Bridal makeup 50 years

    "Hello Hello!
My aunt is getting married this summer and I have been given the big task of putting on her makeup on the big day. She is golden blonde and naturally has like "golden" skin tone and blue eyes. I would be very happy if you could give me a tip on how I could make her up! Not too much, but preferably with a focus on the eyes. She is about 50 years old. Thanks in advance!"

Descriptive words: Brown, gold, several different eye shadows, just right is best.

What fun, what an honorary assignment! :)

The colors gold and brown that you suggest are great, both for her warm skin tone but also to emphasize her blue eyes! But watch out for shimmery eye shadows on the outer edges of the make-up, it is very nice on the eyelid and in the corner of the eye, but unfortunately highlights fine lines and such irregularities.

What can be good to keep in mind when applying make-up to a person who has slightly "older" eyes, is to tone down the eye shadows a lot so that there are no sharp lines. Also make up a rounded semicircular shape in the outer edge of the eyes, it lifts the eye more if it has started to hang a little over the years. In addition, you then avoid "fussing" with any fine lines that you make up over if you do a more extended make-up.

Gel eyeliner is very good to work with to mark the lash lines, you can work out a smooth line and it is easier to get straight than with a liquid eyeliner. In addition, you can blur it a little if it is not nice and sharp, if you have a little loose skin on the eyelids for example.

The most important thing to keep in mind is to apply a narrow eyeliner and work it in between the lashes as well, so that you do not take up too much space on the eyelid. In addition, you need to have a good gel eyeliner that dries quickly so that it does not smudge on the eyelid.

Finally, focus mostly on the top of the eyelid, under the eye it is enough that you lighten up and mark a little at the outer edge. Then the eye lifts more, and besides, you do not get the same "make-up" impression as if you have dark / color around the whole eye :)

    Here comes my interpretation!
