I get quite a lot of compliments for my hair color, and the last few days I have received more compliments and questions than ever, super fun! That's why I thought I would address this in a post now :)<\/p>\n

What is the name of the hair color?<\/strong>
\nMany people ask what the hair color is called, and I do not really know what to answer then, do you mean the name of the color itself or what colors my hairdresser has used? I answer both in any case, so I'm on the safe side.<\/p>\n

I asked my hairdresser exactly what she used, and she replied:
\n"I had 4\/65 at the bottom (dark red-purple) then 5\/65 on the red-purple and equal parts 7\/43 and 9\/43 on the coppery and nuanced with 9\/43 (ros\u00e9) at the end!"<\/em><\/p>\n

So we made the scalp reddish purple, but about an inch right at the bottom is a bit darker because otherwise the color can look a little too brittle on the scalp. The middle of the hair is then dyed in a copper color, while the lengths are my old medium blonde hair color which are nuanced with a ros\u00e9 tone to make it blend in a little better.<\/p>\n

What the whole hair color is called can not be answered because it varies very much depending on how much I maintain it with my colored wrap, but right now I would say that it is an ombre that goes from red-purple to ros\u00e9.<\/p>\n

How has the hair color changed?<\/strong>
\nNow my hair color does not look quite like when it was freshly dyed, in the pictures in the blog the last week you see my hair when it is quite washed out - then the lengths are much lighter and have no rosette at all. You can see it clearly if you look inside this post<\/a>. And in this post<\/a> can you see what it looked like when it was completely freshly dyed. And sometimes my hair looks more \/ less red and it depends on whether I have neglected to have my colored hair wrap or not :)<\/p>\n

How do I maintain my hair color?<\/strong>
\nI usually only have my colored hair wrap (read my post about it here<\/a>) in the scalp, but the day before yesterday I experimented more with it and after I had applied it to the scalp as usual, I mixed it with quite a lot of conditioner and had ii the lengths.<\/p>\n

The result was a tone that goes more towards ros\u00e9, and I think it turned out super nice :)<\/p>\n

The hair color is always more colorful in the picture than in reality for some reason, so I have toned down the colors in the picture a bit in photoshop so that the hair color will resemble more how it is in reality. That's why my skin tone looks a bit lifeless :)<\/p>\n

In a week I will return to Monica Werner at Fris\u00f6rerna in Uppsala and freshen up the color. Then the outgrowth disappears (which I now make up with pink eye shadow) and in addition, if it goes as planned, we will put a ros\u00e9 tone on the entire lengths also instead of a coppery one that we had in the middle before. Partly because it is so nice, but mainly because I think it became difficult to apply the color packaging evenly and nicely down to a copper color.<\/p>\n
