Now our Hairology education is finished and both me and Jeanette are now trained hairologists!<\/p>\n

Jeanette is a hairdresser and I get to attend the training because I am a partner in the salon, but it is not an education that anyone can go to, but it is hairdresser-oriented.<\/p>\n

But I, who is not a trained hairdresser either, learned so much inside the bomb! Do you know how much is said about hair that is not the least bit true? Plenty! You understand everything in a completely different way now that you know how the hair is structured and everything about pH values and the different components of the hair. Very interesting really.<\/p>\n

I will never want to be a hairdresser, but as a product lover and beauty enthusiast, I have a lot of help from everything. And hairology's own products are so incomparably good! Have tested some products before, but now I will test a whole series adapted for my hair and scalp so it will be super interesting :)<\/p>\n

And what shocked me the most is how much beauty actually comes from within, and by inside I do not mean self-confidence (as I usually mean when I say so) but the diet and everything you put into it. It is absolutely brutal how much one can understand about a person's diet by looking at their hair and scalp.<\/p>\n

Here I am at H\u00e5rologi's own test device where you can easily test your customers' hair. It is very difficult to predict whether a hair feels good or not by just looking \/ feeling it. For 80% of the strength of the hair sits inside the hair, and not on the outermost layer. The instructor did not believe her eyes when she saw my result in the peaks that both look and should be quite fragile. They look dry and a little fresh compared to the rest of the hair. But it was optimal! You should have a step stronger hair than it is elastic, and that's mine!<\/p>\n

And it's not mainly because I take good care of it, because I neglect a lot. I love Sanctum's shampoo and conditioner, but I get a lot of free press samples that I use instead of what I have to buy, so I always use different brands and a lot of silicones (will address that with silicones in a single post ).<\/p>\n

But why do I have such strong and good hair then? Well because I eat such a good and varied diet! Will address it in a single post as well :)<\/p>\n

On the device you get two different values (which together say a lot when you know how a hair is built) and then you get product recommendations as well, which you then adjust yourself by also looking at the scalp and how to wants<\/em> experience the hair, because it can also differ e.g. if you want more \/ less volume etc.<\/p>\n

Very interesting!<\/p>\n

The instructor washed the hair of another who also attended the training to show us how to do and how to think (both when you as a hairdresser wash others, but also how to wash yourself at home). She used a lot of products with silicones, had bleached her hair several times and in the tops it was not even possible to test her hair because it was "too fragile" on the device.<\/p>\n

I did not have time to pick up the phone in time and take a picture of it, but when she had washed with a deep cleaning twice (really needed more to get it completely clean but there was no time) but after only twice you saw a thick, light gegga on the sides of the shampoo - old silicones! Absolutely sick a lot!<\/p>\n

Didn't take a picture of the silicone gadget (sorry, but was most fascinated at the time haha) but in the picture above you can see that the water foams a bit - but she has only soaked her hair here and has not had any shampoo at all, it is all her products in her hair that make the water frothy.<\/p>\n

It's crazy. Hope you find it interesting too because there will probably be a lot of hair care posts in the next few days :)<\/p>\n
