Surely most of you have not missed L'Or\u00e9al Paris' novelty Pure Clay Mask and their multimasking commercials? :) I was at their press event a few weeks ago and got press samples on the face masks with me home, and have since put them to the test!<\/p>\n

Multimasking is a trend that has become really big in recent times, and means that you have different types of face masks in different parts of the face. For most of us, we have quite different skin in different areas, e.g. oily T-zone and at the same time dry cheeks etc. Then you can e.g. have a face mask for oily skin one part of the face and one for dry skin in another part of the face.<\/p>\n

I love the concept of multimasking and think that it is not only smart and good for the skin, but also makes the routine with face mask even more fun :)<\/p>\n

L'Or\u00e9al Paris has released three different face masks, all three of which are clay-based, I who love clay! So everyone has the same clay base:
\nGhassoul<\/strong> - Absorbs impurities and sebum from the pores
\nMontmorillonite<\/strong> - Cleanses and balances the skin
\nKaolin<\/strong> - Absorbs oil and is good even for sensitive skin types.<\/p>\n

What separates the face masks are the remaining ingredients, such as charcoal, algae and eucalyptus.<\/p>\n

This is how I apply the different masks for my skin :)<\/p>\n

Forehead and nose -<\/strong>\u00a0Here I am most oily, and also think that the oiliness bothers me the most here as the nose shines most in the whole face and the forehead and hairline make the hair oilier faster as well.<\/p>\n

Cheeks and chin -<\/strong>\u00a0Here I have mostly unclean and visible pores.<\/p>\n

Jawbone -<\/strong>\u00a0Here the skin is at least oily and oily, but still has a tendency to pimples and feels more dull and lifeless. I could have the same face mask as on my cheeks \/ chin, but since I have three different ones now, I took the opportunity to do a little more exfoliation here.<\/p>\n

Packaging<\/strong>
\nThe face masks come in jars, which means that you need some type of spatula for application as you should never put your fingers in the jar. There is nothing that bothers me personally though, I usually use a regular spoon :)<\/p>\n

Award<\/strong>
\nSEK 129 for 50 ml, I think it's affordable!<\/p>\n

Formula<\/strong>
\nThe face masks are very thick, so a thin layer goes a long way. The texture is very creamy and feels nice on the skin.<\/p>\n

Use & duration of action<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Cleanse the skin and dry it<\/li>\n
  2. Apply the face masks differently on the face depending on how exactly your skin is, there is no "right way" to combine them.<\/li>\n
  3. Let work for 10 minutes<\/li>\n
  4. Rinse thoroughly with water<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You feel that the mask is quite active, it feels cool and it irritates the skin a bit. The effect time is 10 minutes, and then the clay has basically dried completely so it is not a big idea to have it sit longer even if you want it. So it's fast.<\/p>\n

    Recommended use is about 3 times a week.<\/p>\n

    Results<\/strong>
    \nThe skin feels very clean afterwards! I looks<\/em> no visible difference on the skin but feels that it becomes cleaner and feels very fresh. It is not a soft moisturizing mask that you can chill around with for several hours and then become soft as a baby afterwards, but it is quite active on the skin and afterwards I have to be quick to lubricate myself because the skin feels very dry.<\/p>\n

    I have tested both multimask and tested them separately, and personally I would probably manage with only purifying mask all over my face and skip the rest. For Exfoliating mask that peels the skin does not really feel necessary on my skin, maybe would like to have it once a month just and all over the face, and purify mask and glow mask feels quite similar I think, but just debilitating and relaxing my skin so really I would personally just run with the green Purify mask.<\/p>\n

    L'Or\u00e9al Paris Exfoliating Mask<\/a>
    \nContains extracts from red algae and volcanic stone that exfoliate the skin. It removes dead skin cells and gives your skin more radiance. Also contains grains that manually scrub the skin.<\/p>\n

    L'Or\u00e9al Paris Glow Mask<\/a>
    \nContains carbon that is incredibly absorbent and removes dirt and impurities from the pores, which gives the skin a clean and fresh glow!<\/p>\n

    L'Or\u00e9al Paris Purify Mask<\/a>
    \nContains eucalyptus which makes the skin relax and dissolves impurities in the pores, has an astringent effect and makes the skin more dull. Especially good for oily skin with large pores.<\/p>\n

    This is what the mask looks like after about 10 minutes, then it has solidified and you can barely talk :)<\/p>\n

    Summary -<\/strong>\u00a0In summary, all masks get the thumbs up from me! I personally do not like face masks that solidify so much, I want to throw on a mask and be able to sit and cuddle with it in front of a movie with a cup of tea or kind of clean at the same time. These are probably not for people who need moisture the most and who are very sensitive in the skin, but for a more cleansing effect, they are actually great, not the best I have tested but still very good and at the same time affordable!<\/p>\n

    I only miss a moisture bomb in this mutimask collection, it would probably have been the icing on the cake for most people :)<\/p>\n
