{"id":30869,"date":"2017-12-27T13:07:26","date_gmt":"2017-12-27T12:07:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/?p=30869"},"modified":"2020-10-22T11:52:59","modified_gmt":"2020-10-22T09:52:59","slug":"ett-snyggare-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/en\/a-nicer-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"A nicer 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today is the first working day after Christmas and it all started with me forgetting the memory card from the camera and not having any pictures for the blog + that the car did not start haha, but now I&#039;m up and thinking of offering a little more textual post for so long :)<\/p>\n<p>Many have as a New Year&#039;s promise \/ goal for next year to become a little &quot;prettier&quot;, it can be about taking care of the skin more, spruce up a little more often or dare to use strong lip colors in everyday life.<\/p>\n<p>I myself am also a bit on that track before 2018, I started to be able to take some salary out of the company this year but everything has gone to 1. keep the house I inherited from my mother and 2. for renovation. Even though we have not done a worsting renovation but only fixed walls and floors, it runs away financially.<\/p>\n<p>So my hope for 2018 is to be able to put a little money on myself, above all I think about the wardrobe. I have for several years lived on other people&#039;s old uncleaned clothes and it works great but they are already worn from the beginning and I do not get my own style in it all.<\/p>\n<p>What I am wearing at the time of writing, to give an example, is entirely other people&#039;s clothes that I received when they cleaned their closets. The only thing that is mine from the beginning are my panties haha and I bought them when I was in high school when I was 14 or 15 years old. And now I do not exaggerate, my sweater is from Frida, pants and bra are from Annika and the socks are left since my mother lived in the house and had a box of socks she bought at the market :)<\/p>\n<p>I saw a beauty list in a facebook group where one person wrote everything she wanted to focus on in the way of beauty 2018, I thought it was really inspiring to read and therefore want to share my own beauty list 2018 to you!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wardrobes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clear ALL clothes I do not use or that I should stop using due to holes (which I currently cover with cardigans, long sweaters, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Buy some well-planned basic garments that fit really nicely and fit everything.<\/li>\n<li>Buy some &quot;fun garments&quot; that spice up the outfit and fit all basic garments.<\/li>\n<li>Then organize the wardrobe so that everything can hang straight and neat and that you get an overview of all options.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-30870\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1973_111-995x1024-995x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"659\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1973_111-995x1024.jpg 995w, https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1973_111-995x1024-292x300.jpg 292w, https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1973_111-995x1024-768x790.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1973_111-995x1024-696x716.jpg 696w, https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_1973_111-995x1024-408x420.jpg 408w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here I am in my mother&#039;s old sweater, best \u2665<\/p>\n<p>I will invest in a bunch of black tights as well, both full-coverage black and transparent black, I never have uncomfortable outfits and tights are such an easy way to be nice and comfortable at the same time - a long knitted sweater and tights, a casual dress and tights, tights with nice socks or for a pair of heels, so simple and so nice :)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hair:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I will get better at using styling products immediately after hair washing, at present I just blow-dry and then it is too flat and fluffy the next day and then flat and fluffy the next day and does not look good until the 3rd day with dry shampoo. But if I have volume products and spend a little more time right after the shower, it will be much more manageable and nice all week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-30872\" src=\"http:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_7898_111-1024x861-1024x861.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"538\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_7898_111-1024x861.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_7898_111-1024x861-300x252.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_7898_111-1024x861-768x646.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_7898_111-1024x861-696x585.jpg 696w, https:\/\/www.imakeyousmile.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_7898_111-1024x861-500x420.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>By the way, I will probably wait until my turquoise hair color grows out completely and cut it off before I dye again, I do not think it will disappear completely and have canceled my hairdressing time in January now. I have grown out so long already and then you can start on a new ball then with completely untreated hair, it was a long time ago: D Must take a picture of after cutting but before color, 100% own hair color, would be cool. In six months it will surely work, I think!<\/p>\n<p>I feel great anyway in the length that I have now, and am incredibly eager to permanent my hair as well, it might be a full makeover before the summer then with shoulder short curly hair;)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The nails:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I have previously cared for my nails well with oil and home manicures, which made them look good with just a little nail polish - which I was then also good at repainting so that I have not rubbed off varnish all the time. All these points, however, I have gotten worse at, the renovation has ruined my nails, the cuticles are dry and right now every single nail has abraded nail polish. A nail oil should be placed on the desk in the office immediately! Check out the thumbnail, think that you get used to being so long quickly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And why is this with beauty so important then? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One may think that it is unnecessary to spend money and time on being superficial and good-looking. But for me, beauty is wellness, it&#039;s not just about looking good in front of others or being &quot;perfect&quot; but I think it&#039;s so much fun and invigorating! I do not use makeup and clothes to hide but on the contrary, I emphasize and strengthen my personality.<\/p>\n<p>For some people, it is a liberation to just be completely natural and who you are. For other people, it&#039;s the opposite, I feel <em>more<\/em> free if I can play as I want with my colors and accessories!<\/p>\n<p>I notice this when I work in this industry as well, there are a few people who feel that beauty is an &quot;evil must as a woman&quot; who would feel better about letting go of the demands on themselves. With most people fully enjoying some free time, a quiet moment where they are pampered and then become much more alert, happier and get extremely much more inner radiance when they see themselves in the mirror. And it was not because I had really done anything special but because I had just started to take care of myself again after my mother passed away then. I turned one, had a new dress, put on make-up for the first time in a month and my sister Mia curled my hair before work. It did so much for me I remember and felt that I got a lot more energy just because I was comfortable in myself.<\/p>\n<p>When you look in the mirror and meet a person who looks tired and dull, you do not immediately become more alert. It&#039;s like standing and smiling in the mirror for a while so you can fool the brain that you are happy and then you will be happier :)<\/p>\n<p>Do you have something you want in terms of beauty, you want to change or do more of 2018?
