I have been very curious to try Maybelline Tattoo Brow Peel-off which is a mixture of brow color and tan without sun for the eyebrows and therefore colors both hair and skin. I received a press release on these a very long time ago but it has not happened - until now!<\/p>\n

Meeen<\/em> it may be a small teaser, because first of all I have tested their brow pomade in the same tattoo series which is completely ordinary make-up, a brow pomade that should sit like a rock and also be waterproof - hence the "tattoo name".<\/p>\n

What is the Maybelline Tattoo Brow Pomade?<\/strong>
\nA brow pomade in three colors that is rub-proof, waterproof and should last for 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Am I snobbish that bothers me that the sticker is not in the middle of the jar?<\/p>\n

The jar contains 3.5 ml. Can be compared to the "classic" from Anastasia which contains 4 grams. Do not know if 1 ml brow pomade weighs 1 gram though (?) But assume that there is about the same amount of content in both of them.<\/p>\n

It comes with a brush with a slanted brush on one side and a spiral brush on the other side. It's actually good! Usually the brushes that come with it are so poor quality that I throw them away right away, but not this one :)<\/p>\n

Shades<\/strong>
\nThe pomade comes in three shades, Taupe, Medium Brown and Dark brown.<\/p>\n

Since it is only available in three shades, I would have liked a little more difference between Medium and Dark, but the shades are nice anyway!<\/p>\n

I can be picky about taupe shades but this one was good, moderately dark \/ light and cold enough while not getting unnatural or dull.<\/p>\n

Formula<\/strong>
\nThe pomade is very creamy when applied and dries fairly quickly, which makes it easy to apply both sharply and softly, which is preferred.<\/p>\n

sustainability<\/strong>
\nI tested the durability on the hand and it absolutely lives up to its promise at that point! You can hold your hand under running water and rub at the same time, and still hold it! I do not understand why the eyebrows should last for 24 hours, you should always wash off the make-up in the evening in my opinion;)<\/p>\n

Then it should be added that most brow pomades last quite well, so it is not super unique for this type of product.<\/p>\n

Here you see before and after! Surely it will be a pretty natural result?<\/p>\n

I realize now when I photograph my eyebrows as close as I realize how much my eyebrow tattoo has faded, it's just a faint shadow under now.<\/p>\n

Summary:<\/strong> Affordable for the amount of content and is both easy to apply, gives a nice result and a long shelf life. Would have been fun with more shades but you save a hundred bucks compared to e.g. Anastasias, unless you are picky about the exact shade, this is definitely worth it!<\/p>\n
