Valentine's Day - Bath foam with hearts!

Everyone has different traditions for Valentine's Day, some give nice gifts to each other, some give gifts both to partners and to others loved ones. Some do not celebrate it at all, and some see it as a cozy day to do something extra romantic together.

In any case, here is a product tip for you that suits you, whether you are giving it away as a gift or enjoying it together - bath foam with hearts! ♥

Sephora is now launching a Valentine's Day series with several romantic and sweet products, and one of them is this bath foam (also works as a shower gel) which is pink and contains small super sweet hearts, and the packaging is really cute too!

It smells of cotton flower and foams very well, I like it very much :)

IMG_8600_111

The packaging is round and very flat, perfect on the edge of the bathtub :)

All small hearts are most sweet if you use the product as a shower gel or simply because it is sweet in the package when it is in the shower, but when you have it as a bath foam, it melts quite quickly and you do not see them regardless anyway. because there is so much foam in the water :)

IsaDora Spring Make-up

Last week I received a press release with IsaDora's new spring collection, always just as fun! So I thought I would show it to you today :)

IMG_8646_111

IsaDora's spring look is inspired by "a day on the Riviera" and focuses on pastel colors, carpet and silky textures as well as dramatic details such as a wide eyeliner or voluminous eyelashes.

The look includes:

IMG_8656_111

IsaDora Multivitamin Gloss - The caring lip gloss has now come in the new shade Sheer Almond which is a light beige shade, perfect noodle lips for people with light skin.

IsaDora Big Bold Mascara - Mascara that gives a lot of volume

IsaDora Twist-Up Matt Lip - It was not long ago that these lovely lipsticks were launched, and they are already available in four new shades! Bare n Beautiful, Bohemian, Nude Rose and Vintage Pink are the new shades that are all beige and pink tones.

IsaDora Velvet Matt Nail - Velvet and matte nails in a total of six new shades!

IsaDora Eye Shadow Quartet - The popular eyeshadow palettes are now available in two new shades, Nude Rose and Nude Sand.

IsaDora Twin Tip Eye Liner - A new eyeliner that is flat on one side for wide lines, and narrow on the other side for thin lines. It is also water resistant.

The lipsticks are my favorites, I like these very much! Not as durable as matte lip products often are, but otherwise super good :)

IMG_8687_1111

IsaDora's eye shadows are getting better and better too, pigment rich and easy to work with :) Did a make-up with these today that you will see tomorrow.

IMG_8683_111Incredibly eager to try these goodies! What lovely colors!

IMG_8692_111And this is what the eyeliner looks like, here you can see better what I mean by it being flat on one side and narrow on the other. Exciting!

Lyko has already launched the products on its webshop, you will find them all here!*

What do you think? Do you find something you crave? :)

Meeting and zero battery

1

Hello!

My Monday started with a long meeting and then I discovered that I forgot my computer charger at home, and my computer is completely dead. So now I write on Miskas just to say why it echoes quietly here in the blog…

But I will go home earlier and blog from home instead when I have fixed some things here, so I will return a little later today when my computer has received some power :) Because right now I have no access to pictures or the like that I can blog with.

Hear a little later, but hope you had a great start to the new week! :) ♥

Makeup Tips Hanging Eyes

Do you have droopy eyelids or hooded eyes as it is also called?

This post is about hanging eyelids / hooded eyes and fits in very well right now also as it was not so long since I blogged about just this. I hope you like it!

Makeup Tips Hanging Eyelids

Hooded eyes and / or droopy eyes have quite a lot of skin over the eyelid when they look straight ahead, so for you to see better what I mean, I press down the skin a little with my finger, and mark out with dots where I want to show you:

Makeup Tips Hanging Eyes

Tip 1 - Apply the eyeshadow above the crease line crease

Hooded eye shapes often show only a little or nothing at all of the eyelid when they look straight ahead. So if you close your eyes and apply eye shadow only on that area, it will in principle only be visible when you blink. It can be a nice effect, but if you want the make-up to be visible all the time, you should also make up a little bit above the globe line so that it is visible even when you look straight ahead!

A trick is to look straight ahead in the mirror, and mark with the eyeshadow how high you want it to go depending on how much you want it to be visible. Then you can start from that marking when you make up the eyelid.

Makeup Tips Hanging Eyes

Tip 2 - If you are going to use two different eye shadows

If you want two colors and that both should be visible at the same time, skip the eyeliner so that the eyeshadow on the eyelid reaches down to the fringe edge, and then you can apply the other color along the globe line. Then both will be visible! In the picture you see an example of how to apply the colors.

Makeup Tips Hanging Eyes

Tip 3 - Cat eyes

If you want a more elongated cat eye shape on the make-up, it is a good idea to put make-up so far out that you "embed" the entire crease line crease. Then it does not matter how you move the eyes, that crease will in any case not make the makeup look choppy or uneven.

To easily get this nice, it is a good idea to also apply eye shadow on the underside of the eye and "tie together" the makeup in the outer corner of the eye. Read mine previous postsabout cat eyes for more tips!

Tip 4 - Cat eyes with two different eye shadows

If you want to make a cat eye shape with two different colors, it is smart to apply the outermost color a fairly long distance into the eyelid, so that the transition does not end up exactly in the skin fold. Because then the transition can look uneven depending on how you look with your eyes.

6

Tip 5 - Enlarge the eyelid

If you want to enlarge the look and make the eyelid look even bigger, you can apply that color on the eyelid and along the crease line, and then make a newgoblin line marking that sits higher up than your real globe line!

But still think about the tip I wrote in point 4, do not put the transition between the shadows right in the skin fold.

7

Tip 6 - Eyebrows

My last tip is about the eyebrow. Here the outer edge of my eyebrow slopes quite a bit downwards because I press it down. But many have the natural shape that it follows the eye in the same downward slope. But if you can (it depends on how your eyebrow grows) then it is a good tip to shape the outer edge more to the side than down, because then you look up more. Because if the eyebrow has the same downward slope as the eye, you mark that the eye hangs a little down.

Hope you understood everything and that my tips for you with droopy eyelids / hooded eyes were helpful! ♥
