Marking the cheekbones is so incredibly nice, and now for the summer when you start to get a little color, it also becomes easier because it can be a little difficult to get it natural on a very pale skin.
My best tip for sharp cheekbones is to use a slanted blush brush!
This is my favorite! It comes from the Emily brush set with seven brushes for both basic make-up and eye make-up, available on iMys.se for SEK 199 (it is SALE now, they actually cost SEK 299!) The colors that are left are lila and turquoise.
The brush is big enough and fluffy enough to get the perfect cheekbone shade!
Before and after.
I exaggerated a bit so that it would be visible in the picture, but it seemed quite a lot anyway so now it got a little too dark in the pictures too :) But better that, you can see how I do!
1. What I do is first angle the brush to the side, and apply the dark shadow quite sharply just below the cheekbone. I always pluck with my mouth so that the cheekbone becomes clearer - then it is easier to apply the shadow in the deep part below.
2. Then I hold the makeup brush straight and blur upwards a little. At the bottom of the dark shade it can be quite sharp but up towards the cheeks it should be a nice fade if it is to look like a natural shade.
Hope this post was helpful! :)
