There will be a short Sunday post this week because I am lying in bed with a high fever and take the opportunity to write a little while the alvedon and ipren mixture has kicked in as best I can. It has not been my most productive week as half has consisted of a hospital with high fever and "sore throat" again. Ugh then.
But you get a small update anyway!
Job interview
Last Monday I met a girl who applied for the job as Lisa's replacement (our makeup artist Lisa will be on maternity leave in May) and she also did sample makeup on a model as a work sample.
Before I started a company, I sometimes thought about how cool it would feel to have job interviews, talk about adult points. But in reality it turned out that it is not a particularly "cool" experience haha. But of course it's fun! :)
She was very good! We have a little more details to review with the schedule, etc. before anything is decided, however, so nothing is completely nailed yet.
I have started writing a book!
Haha so this spontaneous idea that I suddenly just sat down with this evening - author corner, could I be that believer? ;)
I started my blog on January 6, 2009, which is 10 years ago! Almost a pity that I did not think about it before, we should have had some kind of anniversary here in the blog haha. So many words have been written in my days! Then it is not at all the same as a book, in the blog I write exactly as I speak, but the basis is that I love to write! It is difficult to describe what the book is about without revealing too much, because I have not come that far, but it is kind of "mysterious suspense" you could say.
And above all, I have a romanticized image of myself the work to write a book. Cave into a story and be completely in your own bubble while sipping tea and buttons on the keyboard. Mys! Then whether it is published or liked is not really the point. You do not write a book to get rich but because it is fun, I think.
But if the book would actually go well, it's a nice extra income, because I do not see that it would ever be my full-time profession, but when the book is written, it is written and then you can work 150% with something else again :)
Are you curious? I think it would be so fun to record the audiobook later but I do not know if people can handle my voice in a whole book haha. Yes now I spin a little too far, I have written type 2 pages and am not even completely 100 on when I will finish it. Everything is a matter of time and priority!
Apart from Monday, I have worked from home all week. Sloppy hair, musk clothes and glittery party makeup are not a completely unusual sight;)
Testing news
This week I have also received news from several different brands that I will put to the test and see if they qualify in our range of Creative Makeup!
This I love alltså test products then, I never get tired!
For example, Eco by Sonya has come up with news but we have cut back on skin care and are investing more in makeup so I said no to testing, but they are so confident in their products that they sent anyway - because as soon as I test them I will change me haha. Really exciting then! In any case, the first impression is no matter how good!
I have such a nice mirror shelf in the bathroom now! Pixi Glow Tonic in a luxurious pump bottle on the left and my new organic products from Eco by Sonya on the right. Fine!
… And all Pixi products went down in the snow when the bottom of my cardboard bag broke, so it can go if the hasp is not on! :)
I have been busy with a lot of other things as well, but that should be enough for this week, now I will go to bed again because tomorrow I can not be free so now I will cure properly.
