GOSH Copenhagen Primer Plus + Chameleon

A while ago I received a press release from the makeup brand GOSH Copenhagen which I have not tested at all before and have not heard much about either except that their mineral foundation should be very good (did not get a press sample on it).

Today I tested their face primer Primer Plus + Chameleon for the first time, here's a first impression review on it! :)

What is GOSH Copenhagen Primer Plus + Chameleon?
A colored face primer that promises a smoother skin tone and a fresh glow.

Packaging
Pump bottle of 30 ml.

Award
GOSH Copenhagen can be found on Eleven.se but I can not find this particular primer there, at goshcopenhagen.se on the other hand, it is available and costs SEK 199.

Ingredients
The primer is vegan and contains no perfume, that's good! In addition, it contains Anti Pollution ingredients that protect the skin from pollutants in the air.

Glow?
It says that it should give "evenly toned glow" in the product description, but what they mean by toned glow I do not really know because it has no luster in it at all but becomes quite dull on the skin. Solid mat in a very nice way!

In the picture below, it is just lubricated, so there it can look a little lustrous because it is still moist, but when it was allowed to dry into the skin for a few seconds, it became dull.

Color
But anyway - the color! As you can see in the pictures above, the primer is first white and then the pigments appear when you massage it into the skin. There are a bunch of products like this on the market already and I do not really know what the point is more than that it feels a little fun, but anyway the result will be very even, nice and good so who knows it might be a point to the pigments appear during application :)

In the top two pictures you can see my purple-blue cold hands haha. Then in the bottom picture, the skin tone is warm and it is not the light at all but just the primer, when you zoomed out on the rest of the hand and fingers, they had the same blue color as in the pictures before.

The primer only seems to be in one shade and it is a little darker than my skin tone so I have also applied down to the neck and décolleté because otherwise the face would have been darker. For many, this is probably negative, but for me, I actually like it! Because because the color becomes even and natural, the skin just looks more vibrant, a bit like I stopped being winter-dull in a few seconds, but it also does not look like I used brown without sun.

Application
The primer is very quickly applied and easy to get even, so having to put it on the neck and cleavage went very quickly and it only required one more pumping so it was enough for everything :)

Results
Face primers usually do not give much visible results so I did not take a model which may have been stupid but I think you can still see the effect well in this picture? The skin looks matte without looking dry, a fresh and fresh skin tone and very smooth and even! Is it just me who thinks I almost look a bit blurry in the picture? Which, by the way, is completely unedited with both color and light and I am completely unmade up almost as if on permanent makeup tattoos.

And I would also like to add very natural, many products that become matte and velvety smooth on the skin do not settle naturally, but this one does.

Skin types
I'm a bit dry now but I do not think it was emphasized at all by this one. Otherwise very oily and this felt like a very good formula for me. It does not say what skin type it is recommended for, but in my opinion it suits everyone who wants a matte and smooth result.

sustainability
Since I have only tested it once, I can not comment on 100% regarding durability because then I would have liked to test for other foundations, etc. But the durability of the entire make-up after this day was in any case very good, so at least it does not hold up badly! :)

Summary - I was positively surprised by this! Had it contained high spf as well, I would have been sold before our trip abroad this winter, unmade up on the beach with protected skin that also looks rudely fresh at the same time;) I recommend it for you who like a matte and smooth result and would say that it is most worthwhile for people who want an almost unmade-up complexion or a light coverage over, because if you have a full-coverage foundation over, it does not do much good that the primer also has some coverage. And you should be aware that the shade is darker than the skin tone if you are as light in the skin as I am.

Rating 4 out of 5 I would give this one, what lowers the rating a bit is that it is not available in more shades and that it is a bit of a stroke of luck that I liked to apply it down to the neck as well. But a strong 4 anyway because I was even pleasantly surprised, I rarely get it from a face primer :)

I'm not such a crazy hairdresser after all

Yesterday I wrote about the feeling of freedom to cut your own hair and feel that you do not really care how crazy it gets, and today I thought I would show you the result! :)

I'm really happy with the decision actually, it took a minute, zero energy except for a little ecstasy feelings, was completely free and above all I have received a lot of compliments for my new hairstyle!

What do you think?? Not so crazy huh ?? :)

I thrive well in this length, long enough to be able to have a bun on my head and not so short that you have to style it for it to look good! A little volume and then you can change your legs a little carelessly during the day just so it settles nicely.

And the fight against the turquoise hair color continues haha! Here is an update:

I wrote "over 10" because I have lost count of how many washes I have actually done now, but some washes are just careless washes while others have been the worst deep cleansing routine to get out of the paint as quickly as possible.

I like the color, especially now that I have a shorter hairstyle, but I want to get out of it completely before my hairdresser visit January 11, so in exactly one month.

But if it does not work, does anyone have experience of how crazy it can be if you bleach with such color residues in your hair? What then? I do not want to look like a blonde who has been in chlorinated water for a whole summer :)

Cut your own hair

Yesterday I cut my hair over 1 decimeter myself haha!

I was going to show full pictures of the hair in this post as well but something got in the way so I could not take a picture of it this morning. But the result may be a cliffhanger then instead;)

I have hairdressing time in January and try to work on washing out my turquoise hair color before then. It looks dark btw haha. But I who am used to washing my hair once a week + thrive in a little shorter hair actually felt that now that I wash often, it becomes a waste of hair products to wash off color in the lengths that I will still cut off later.

I still think it's nice with turquoise but do not want turquoise for so long, think it takes focus from my makeup.

So before the sauna yesterday I had enough, and no one who felt compelled to put the scissors in my turquoise swell had time to cut me, so I took matters into my own hands;)

You know, I just put the scissors in my hair and cut off probably 12 centimeters at a time! I barely looked properly in our bathroom mirror either because I'm so short haha. All this hair (compare with the hole to the drain) just slowly fell into the sink.

Then I thinned out a bit in the tops by holding the scissors vertically and cutting upwards. You have to be a little hairdresser-wise, huh;)

But corner, the feeling of just cutting your hair, FREEDOM! Now it's not so short but still to hold the scissors and just cut and feel that you do not care. It was wonderful indeed!

It was a long time since I had this card, but I actually feel great! So sick that it took a maximum of one minute and was completely free haha. A little nervous about what my hairdresser Monica will say at my hairdressing time in January just mihihi.

Now half my hair is outgrown and half my hair is turquoise, so I will continue to shower my hair often and hope that it can disappear completely. There is still a bit of turquoise in the water when I shower so it is optimistic in any case, but damn what it is to hold 4-10 washes, I have probably come quite far over 10 washes now I think. To be continued.

My business week

As I wrote in the last business week, I was completely finished there on Sunday night, to both work type 150% and then renovate basically the whole house at once with a deadline for Christmas - it takes effort!

That's why I felt so warm in my heart when I came to work on Monday and felt that I feel so good here :) It does not matter that I am a little extra tired when you really enjoy what you do and long for the job. So worth it ♥

Checkout & reception
I have been very much at the checkout and reception at the salon this week when Miska has been home for two days. And I think it's a lot of fun! :) Sometimes it feels like I'm at the salon but never meet any customers because I'm just in the office. But now I myself have quite a lot of customers as we have a lot of bookings before Christmas + that I work a lot in the reception so I have had a little chat with all the nice customers and it is so heavenly cozy.

Sleep & renovation
The sleep has been in the same pattern this week as well, some evenings I have gone to bed at 00 and 01 at night and I am completely off in my sleep routine. So I'm working on catching up this weekend and sharpening my sleep next week, I notice such a huge difference in my entire well-being now that I have neglected sleep.

So there has not been much make-up done this week as I have prioritized sleep in the mornings, meeen the sauna is basically completely finished !! :)

Here I sit and stain the future sauna (what you sit on) around midnight haha. But then you would faint if you went into our sauna now, it's so cozy and nice! I can take some photos for a blog post some day if you are hungry? We have, among other things, a sauna lodge with lying places and have spray-painted a bathtub in copper color ♥

Event with Art Clinic
Last Wednesday after closing at the salon, we were at Art Clinic and had a small show table in connection with their customer event. I do not have as much experience of plastic surgery, fillers, etc. as they work with at Art Clinic, but I can say that they are extremely serious and seem to be really skilled. Among other things, they have a vr camera where you can look at yourself in different breast sizes and shapes haha, so fun :) And they were on the Beauty Trap on TV3 also which was about failed beauty surgeries (which were operated on at other clinics) and how they could help them.

One thing that shocked me, however, I have to ventilate a bit here. We work with permanent makeup and therefore the environmental inspectorate is careful and does inspections with us, we have, among other things, had to draw drains and install a completely new sink that is only for permanent makeup staff. These are very strict rules, which of course is good.

Anyway - do you know how often clinics that perform surgeries are audited? This Art Clinic clinic in Uppsala has existed since 2008 and has not been examined once! This is what the industry looks like in today's society, the only thing that has been inspected was their food, such as the sandwich, they serve after operations. I'm in shock, had no idea it was so! Did you know that?

Anyway a very nice event! Here Miska and Annika are waiting for the guests to start dropping in :)

Up and down meeting
Annika loves supplements and various biohacking gadgets and nerdy theories about hormones, enzymes and all that. Really fun to listen to! Everything from lamps with blue light in the ears, a meditation headband that measures signals from the brain so you know if you are relaxed or not (no matter how cool, I got to try it!) A bracelet that gives electric shocks when you learn away with habits etc. Annika has it all :)

Her new craze is that it should obviously be great to stand up and down, I honestly do not remember exactly why it is good haha, but among other things you start the blood circulation in the brain which should be good before meetings etc and many run yoga up and down.

This is what it looked like before our hug meeting (staff meeting) on Thursday:

Annika has bought several upside-down yoga stools, we will see how much they are used haha. I myself can barely stand up and down for a second before it feels like my head is going to explode, but know know soon we may have the whole meeting while everyone stands up and down;)

Movie with Christmas gift tips
Now it's not so easy to show movie clips in the blog (then I have to upload to Youtube first) but Annika has at least made a really nice movie with Christmas gift tips that we have in the waiting room now! :) It's Annika who has made the whole film but I tinkered with what pictures we should have, edited out the background of them in photoshop which was a little craft before we finally got the film to work on the TV and it turned out so nice!

It is white, crunchy and glittery in different effects in the film! The TV looks very small in the pictures now but it is 60 inches I think it looks really nice in our large waiting room :)

Makeup consultation online
Something I have plans to launch, but have not really come up with the best layout, it is makeup consultations online! I get so many makeup questions via email and it is often difficult to answer without seeing the person and also I can not do too long layouts without payment (even though there are often very long layouts anyway hehe) because the time is simply not enough without you need to prioritize a bit.

But by detours, now my second make-up consultation online has come in and it's so much fun! The whole thing is that it costs a penny for the consultation, but that products are included for the entire amount, which you then get a gift card for in the webshop. So the consultation will be free if you shop for a certain amount, you could say.

The person has emailed pictures of himself and answered some questions and given wishes, then I make up the pictures in a drawing program in my iPad and send back with detailed descriptions, tips and recommendations. This is sooo so fun I think!

Here I have started with eyebrows and lashliner and then added base, eye shadow and lips as well. But we are considering doing this with permanent makeup as well, to be able to send in their image to us and we will draw them the brow shape or eyeliner size that we recommend. How smart is not it? :) Continuation follows, we say on it!

Now it's Sunday, second Advent, and my plan is to be completely free from both renovation and work and just myyyspysa! So I can start next week with new powers :)

Christmas make-up in red & gold

Gold and red together give such a Christmas feeling, which fits throughout December! I wore this make-up on a regular Wednesday at work, to liven up an everyday outfit with a knitted cardigan and leather bras. But it is also super nice for the Christmas table, Lucia or on Christmas Eve itself with the fine clothes on :)

I really wanted to match with red lips as well, but since I would tattoo them later in the day, I did not want a too heavy makeup to wash off.

Many people think red eyeshadow is a bit scary or difficult to wear, but in this way as I did today, where the red color is surrounded by brown and golden tones, then it becomes much more easy to wear and incredibly beautiful when you blink and look at different hold. Love red eye shadow!

All eye shadows are from glo Skin Beauty Shadow Palette (Mixed Metals) in addition to the red and the black (which I used as smoky eyeliner).
