Samba make-up (Make-up Uppsala + Products)

Last weekend I made up a girl who was going to a samba party and dance samba all evening, it sounded so much fun! :)

I have made her up before and we usually do very natural make-ups (you can see a previous make-up on her in this post) but for the evening's theme, we braced ourselves with a lot of makeup, a lot of lashes, smoky eyes and red umbrella lips. Crazy nice! Here is the result:

Eyebrow pencil and brow gel - Pixi natural brow duo (Natural Brown) (She has a tattoo underneath too so we did not fill in so much)

EYES:

Eyeshadow Primer - Pixi eye bright primer
Eyeshadows - Paese Opal Eyeshadow (Caffe Latte)
Light eyeliner along the waterline - gloMinerals Eye Pencil (Peach)
Eyeliner with wing– Kryolan HD Cream Liner (Ebony)
Mascara - Magnetic lash mascara and false eyelashes

Lipstick -  gloMinerals Suede Matte Crayon (Trademark) in the middle of the lips
Lip pencil - Benecos Natural Lip Liner (Red) in the contours
Lipstick - gloMinerals Suede Matte Crayon (Bombshell) at the lip pencil and then intonated for a long time towards the lip for a soft ombre lip.

It was really fun to do a proper party make-up with eyeliner wing, false lashes, a lot of lips and the whole kit! Lately, I have basically only done make-up consultations (which are my favorite make-ups!), But then you set the bar on a level so that the person can do the make-up himself later. So it felt really great to just put on make-up without having to think about the customer understanding everything I do or using few products. Now I could sort of use two different highlighters on the cheekbones and three lipsticks without having to think about making the customer completely confused haha. Always nice with variety :)

Hi fine ni!

Here's today's makeup I've had this sunny Friday! First a full day at work with many customers in the salon and then on to Stockholm to visit one of my best friends who I have not seen for a very, very long time. So me and this make-up have had a really good day today :)

Blue and silver are usually associated with winter and cold, but together with a summery lipstick in orange, coral or apricot, it actually turns out the other way around - a very summery make-up! ”You look like a summer girl"I heard from the family when I finished in front of the make-up mirror this morning haha, you like that! ♥

Love a little glitter in the eyebrow too, so nice detail :)

  1. Blue eyeliner along the lower lash line, IsaDora Perfect Contour Kajal Waterproof (Tropical Blue) - Has unfortunately been based on IsaDora's range, I see now, sad! But this make-up can be done with any light blue eyeliner pen.
  2. Silver glitter in the eyebrow and on the blue eyeliner, IsaDora Glitter Lash & Brow (Silver)
  3. Black eyeliner with wing, Paese Liquid Liner
    White eye shadow under the eyeliner and in the corner of the eye, Paese cashmere eyeshadow (601)
    Brown eyeshadow slightly along the globe line (same as the contouring)
  4. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara
    Blue mascara on the lower lashes, IsaDora Build-up Mascara Extra Volume (25 Ocean Blue)

Color blonde eyebrows

Look what a nice eyebrow transformation I did on a customer last Saturday, I love to dye blonde eyebrows! :)

I use colors from Refectocil and here I have mixed the colors Light brown and Natural brown 50/50. We sell these in the webshop as well (+ hydrogen peroxide that you need) for you who color your own eyebrows :)

Then the actual eyebrow picking makes a big difference too! I raised the entire brow by picking a lot from the underside and then dying a little higher up at the highest point. And of course cut all the long straws and "clean up" with the scissors for a well-shaped brow.

Blonde eyebrows are so much fun to color, it makes such a difference!

Smokey makeup with colors (Step by step)

I're really become a fan of NYX eyeshadow palettes lately. This may be due to the simple reason that my study is not completely finished yet and that I mostly only have these NYX palettes nearby when I have to put on make-up hehe.

But even though I have always liked them, I have done 1-2 make-ups and then felt "satisfied" as well. It's mostly just earthy colors. But lately I have done very creative looks with these eye shadows as well, which I think is very fun :) Maybe I can make a post with a collection of NYX make-up soon!

Anyway, today's look is a smokey eye with really nice color changes! Perfect when you think that black is too hard and that brown / gray is too boring :)

    Mint green eyeliner along the waterline and just closest to the lower lash line, IsaDora Perfect Contour Kajal Waterproof (Mint) (Adlink)
  2. Dark turquoise eye shadow on the eyelid
  3. Green-brown eye shadow (brown with green shimmer) along the globe line and at the end of the eyelid
  4. Fade the edges
  5. Dark turquoise eye shadow along the lower lash line
  6. Black eyeliner with wing, Paese Liquid Eyeliner
  7. White eye shadow under the eyeliner and in the corner of the eye, Paese Kashmir eyeshadow (601)
    Brown eye shadow as a "spike" in the corner of the eye
    Light shimmery eye shadow just below the brown "spike"
    Black mascara on the upper lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara
    Pink mascara on the lower lashes, 3ina The Color Mascara

Easter make-up - Video tutorial by followers

The other day I received an email from a reader who made me so happy :) She has done a make-up inspired by this makeup as I have done, and posted a video tutorial on youtube!

The brushes (except the oblique one) are off Nanshy, the brown eye shadow is Paese Opal Eyeshadow (Colorado) and the colorful ones are from a palette we sold before. The mascara is Magnetic Lash Mascara and on her lips she has the colored lip balm Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm.

The result was great and I asked if I could publish the video in the blog and I got it! Here it is:
