This week, IsaDora launches the news Nourishing Lip Oil, and I who got a press test on it a few weeks ago have already had time to put it to the test! :)

What is IsaDora Nourishing Lip Oil?
A lip oil in a gel consistency that nourishes the lips with argan oil and avocado oil and gives them a nice shine.

Argan oil - Moisturizing, caring and has anti-aging effect. Rich in vitamin E which "boosts" the lips with moisture. Prevents skin aging, improves skin elasticity and restores damaged skin.

Avocado oil - Moisturizing, anti-oxidant, increases collagen production. Highly moisturizing, rich in omega 3 and contains Vitamin A, BD and E.

Texture
The product is called lip oil but is not as oily as you might think, but a little more like a soft lip gloss. I became very curious when I heard the term lip oil, "smart!" I thought, but I would probably describe it a little more as a very caring transparent lip gloss.

A bit like Paese Balm Lipgloss, which is a lip balm in lip gloss form. So I could describe this lip oil too :)

Application
The lip oil comes in a tube with an oblique applicator which I think is very practical and easy to use.

Fragrance
The oil smells mild and is flavored with the natural aromas of lime, vanilla and sage. You feel the glue quite clearly, which I like :) Does not contain perfume.

Appearance
The lips become very, very shiny and beautiful! If you take a little less, you get a less glossy effect if desired.

Results
I actually have very dry lips now, and I like this product, very soft and smooth on the lips even if you are not so much for lip gloss otherwise. But have not used it so often that I have been completely restored about the lips, but I think it helps :)

sustainability
The gloss does not last super long on the lips, as it sinks into the skin very well, but they feel soft and moisturized longer.

Summary - I would still like a lip oil that is more like an oil, in a practical tube like this, incredibly smart! I have to look for that. This one is a bit more like a caring, soft lip gloss, but I also like it very much!

UPDATE - Just got an email from IsaDora that the product does not contain argan oil at all, it did it first but then they changed the formula, and then the info in the advertising material happened to be crazy. So you know, the product no longer contains argan oil :)

Oily makeup for oily skin

Last year I made a blog post that was very much appreciated, and therefore I now decided to make a favorite in replay and take new pictures of this :)

In this post I have made up half of my face with make-up that is adapted for dry skin (so not bad make-up, but not degrading either) and on the other half I have used mattifying make-up for oily skin.

And after just a few hours, the difference in the face halves was brutal!

The products for oily skin that I have used are mainly:
Face primer - Paese Makeup Base Matte
Foundation - Pixi H2O Skintint (Cream)
Dehydrating powders - Paese Bamboo Silk Powder

This foundation is also suitable for dry skin, but since it is a gel that sinks well into the skin, it is also great for oily skin as it does not make the skin shiny at all. In my last post about this, I had mineral foundation, and it's great too!

On the other half of the face I have used gloMinerals LUXE series, so those products are very good but adapted for normal / dry / mature skin.

Already after 30 minutes you could see the difference, the half with degrading make-up I still look freshly made-up on, while the other half is already starting to get a little oily.

AFTER FOUR HOURS:

And after four hours, the halves looked like this!

A little difference huh? ;)

AFTER SEVEN HOURS:

After seven hours, the page with degrading makeup is a little greasy too, but that page is nothing compared to the page with regular makeup!

On the side with regular make-up, which here was super oily, you can also see that the eyeliner smeared more on the eyelid. This is due to the oil, a waterproof eyeliner is not oil resistant :)

I started by cleaning the whole face and applied the same day cream on both sides, so it is only thanks to the matte make-up that that side has stayed matte for so long.

Really difference :)

With degrading makeup, I still want to powder 1-2 times a day, but then I am as oily as I am without degrading makeup already after only 30 minutes, so it is an extreme difference.

As oily as I am on the side with ordinary make-up, I get oily even when I have no make-up, and then the eyelids become so oily that it flows into the eyes and starts to sting like attan, haha.

Cera-Wand Curling Iron Review - Curl your hair at home

My biggest problem with curling my hair at home is that I do not manage to do it on myself haha. And it's so boring when you want to fix your hair a little extra and need to ask someone for help every time, and I do not really have the time or patience to learn either.

But now I thought I would tell you about a curling iron that is the easiest to curl your own hair with, even if you are not so used to curling irons! :)

Curl your hair at home with Cera Wand Curling Iron!

And that is CeraWand Curling Curling Iron 25-38mm* which is a "rod" that you just wrap your hair around and hold your fingers longer and then you get a nice screw cap.

Convenient when you want to curl your hair quickly, and simple even for extremely bad me! :)

I have tested before CeraWand 9-19 mm* which is the narrowest tongs, I have only tested it once and you can probably get much better curls with a little practice, but when I curled my whole hair with it, the result was a little fresh. But this pliers that is 25-38 mm is much easier to use!

Can imagine that these two together, and make a mix between small and large curls, would be really really nice.

How-to?
Take a hair loop, spin around the rod and hold the hair ends with your fingers (there will be nice ends even though they are not completely against the tongs) and hold for about 10 seconds, then you have a nice cap.

Do you not burn your fingers?
I managed to curl my whole hair without burn marks, but I also have very long nails that have no feeling, so a little hard to say;) But it is easy to hold the hair without burning, and there are heating gloves to buy if you do not want to risk anything. But I have burned myself more on ordinary pliers, I must say. You have a little more control over this.

Adjustable heat
The tongs have adjustable heat, up to 210 but I always run at 180 because I learned at an event with ghd that it is the optimal degree for the hair to be as malleable as possible without being destroyed. You can clearly see on the small display above the buttons how hot the pliers are, but it was not possible to get a picture when shooting with flash :)

Buttons
The only bad thing about the buttons, as I want to hold the pliers anyway, is that I accessed them several times and changed the heat. But it felt clear when you happened to press so I noticed it immediately, but still a little over.

Cord
The pliers have a 3 meter long rotating cord, love it!

Award
The price of the pliers varies a lot on different sides, the recommended starting price is SEK 539 but HERE it costs SEK 439, they also have free shipping.

I was in a bit of a hurry to take photos this day, so I only took more makeup pictures this post and do not have better pictures of the hair, but this hair is at least attracted to CeraWand, by myself! Fint va? :)

Super easy on one side, a little harder on the other, but definitely the fastest, easiest and finest result I have ever had.

My friend Frida has this tongs, for her incredibly thick and long hair, and she is completely in love! When I made her up (in this post) so she had curled her hair with this:

It does not have to be that difficult to curl your hair at home! Two thumbs up we both say! :)
