NYX Macaron Lippie Review (Purple lips)

As you saw in yesterday's make - up, I have finally tested NYX super fine lipsticks Macaron Lippie available in lots of unusual colors such as yellow, green, turquoise, gray and blue. I have only tested the shade Lavender which is a light lavender purple shade, incredibly nice! Also unusual but not as daring as e.g. green :)

Nice, is not it?

The texture is semi-matte and creamy, and very very pigment-rich even though it is so light. It will be comprehensive and very nice on the lips!

It is not super durable though, the creamy texture disappears easily on the inside of the lips closest to the mouth, which is clearly visible because the color is so light compared to the natural lip color. But on the rest of the lips it sits like a regular lipstick. And it's worth having to improve too, when it's such a cool color;)

I who have tattooed quite far outside the lips must do an ombre effect to darken a little on the skin that is outside the lips. Because the shade is so light, the shadow from my natural contour is very clear otherwise. But it will be incredibly beautiful and I love the shade!

Summary - An incredibly pigment-rich and beautiful lipstick, which feels creamy and smooth on the lips and is very comfortable. Would have liked a little better durability on the inside of the lips, otherwise incredibly satisfied!

Cover pimples

Covering acne is kind of my new hobby, so much fun! You who have a lot of acne are warmly welcome to the salon, I cover your pimples and give makeup tips for free if I can take before and after pictures :)

Here is before and after on one of today's customers that I did a nice bass make-up on:

Really difference! Only the freckles that shine through, on purpose :)

I have used these four products:
1. Paese Makeup Base Smoothing – moisturizing and smoothing face primer that is good if you have acne but dry skin (not oily)
2. Pixi H2O Skintint – foundation gel that melts into the skin and provides a natural and durable base. Semi-covering
3. Pixi Correction Concentrate Concealer – Dab on concealer on the blemishes.
4. gloMinerals Redness Relief Powder – All pimples are now covered, but since they have an intense red color, it still shines through a little. But instead of applying another layer of opaque makeup, this neutralizing powder is absolutely perfect for getting rid of redness.

Today's make - up I did to test NYX Macaron Lippie in the shade Lavender which I think is so brutally nice :) Complemented the look with a wide eyeliner wing.

What do you think? Cat eye eyeliner with color click! :) The lashes were not very nice, however, because they happened to smear mixing liquid on them before, and then it was super difficult to get them to look good.

And today's lips are NYX Macaron Lippie Lavender* which I have done a little ombre effect on with Paese's eye shadow Neo 650 :)

Rosalila eyeliner over the black eyeliner, I mixed the eye shadows Paese Neo Eyeshadow 650 + 654 and made a liquid eyeliner from them using Make Up Store Mixing Liquid.

Exit Volume Fresh Dry Shampoo

I got home a sample of some hair care products from Exit this week, and have started by putting their dry shampoo to the test as oily I am a real dry shampoo holic!

Exit Haircare is a Swedish hair care series with both shampoo, conditioner, wrapping and various styling products in the range. And their dry shampoo Volume Fresh Dry Shampoo is the first thing I test and I am incredibly happy with it I must say :)

Description according to the website:

“A professional volumizing dry shampoo that refreshes your hairstyle between washes. This dry shampoo helps to keep the hair fresh without you having to wash it, while giving a wonderful volume. Exit dry shampoo does not weigh down your hair and does not leave any powder residue. Suitable for all hair types. ”

So this is a dry shampoo that not only makes the hair dull but also gives volume, and I just like it! Because even if I get volume when the hair is freshly washed, it settles like a wet cat on the head after a few days, and then it needs a little help on the stack to get up a little.

This is how the hair looks some day after a shower, oily and flat, like a pizza haha!

Use
The spray is quite powerful, which I love, with chewy sprays it feels like you have to hold on for so long to get enough (if you have as oily scalp as I have) and then it dusts a lot in the air instead. This bottle has a more powerful spray and you get everything on the scalp immediately.

Color
The hair becomes quite white, but it goes away easily when you pull your fingers through the hair

Faintness
The dry shampoo is very effective and mattifies even when you are really dirty in the hair.

Feeling
There are dry shampoos that feel less in the hair, and there are also those that feel much more. This dry shampoo does not make the hair feel super airy, but neither is it heavy or rough, but you can pull your fingers through the hair without thinking that you have a lot of dry shampoo on the scalp. I like how it feels in the hair, no weirdness :)

Fragrance
The scent is very good, fresh and has no specific scent note you can put your finger on. But the funny thing is that I have received a lot of compliments that my hair / I smell good since I started using this, so it is really a big plus!

Results
The hair becomes fluffy and gets nice volume, no lion man directly but absolutely much better than before and it looks really nice. In addition, I think that the volume holds, which is a property I really appreciate, many dry shampoos can give nice volume when you puff up the hair, but then after a few hours the volume has settled down so you have to puff up the hair all the time. But you can avoid that with this one!

sustainability
The hair stays dull longer than with many other dry shampoos as well, I who shower my hair very rarely and have very oily hair need to use this about every other day so it is nice, not to have to improve every day. So you who are not as oily as me will probably think that the hair stays dull much longer.

Mild to the scalp?
I have been trying this dry shampoo for a while now, but not long enough to be able to determine what my scalp still thinks. You who have read my previous dry shampoo reviews know that I have very sensitive scalp that starts itching from dry shampoo, and with this I do not feel at all that it irritates the skin but I feel that I have to use it a little longer before I dare say it to 100% , but it is definitely much milder than many other brands. In addition, it contains caring argan oil which is good for both the hair and the scalp :)

Award
The bottle contains 300 ml and the price is SEK 199, which is quite juicy, but for a large bottle and good content, I still have to say that it is worth the price! Available for purchase at the hair salon and at Exitstore.se.

Summary - A fragrant dry shampoo that is effective and gives a nice volume even to us who have very oily scalp. Highly recommended! ♥

Permanent eyelash after 1 month

When I showed you the before and after pictures of my eyelash permanent that I did on December 8 (read that post here) so I was asked if I could show what the lashes looked like after a week. I answered absolutely but then it has not happened unfortunately.

But better late than never, you get to see pictures of what it looks like several weeks later instead! :)

Tomorrow it is exactly one month since I permed the lashes, and they are still nice even though they are of course not as popping as immediately afterwards:

I took this picture last week, but they look the same today.

I lubricate them with Refectocil Long Lash gel in the evenings, and when I have neglected it I actually notice a difference, then they easily get a little messy so you have to comb them a bit, like when you have not had conditioner in the hair after the shower haha . But it goes with oil or something like that too, does not necessarily have to be the Long Lash gel but I like it very much.

The bend lasts for about 7-10 weeks, and the color about 3-5 weeks. It partly depends on how you take care of the lashes (a lot of sun and bath makes the color lighten faster, for example) and also how fast even the lashes grow. The permanent grows away and the life cycle of the lashes is about 2 months (quite individually) so when the lashes have been replaced with new lashes (which happens all the time, just like with the hair on the head), the permanent has also disappeared.

Then I have hardly used the lash serum either, which I have to sharpen up with so they do not become normally short again, it is easy to do if you have it standing next to the toothpaste, but since Miska and I sometimes sleep at home and sometimes with mom, I have it always in the purse, which makes me forget it in the evening. Must improve me :)

Anyway, they are still nice! This is what they looked like when they were completely new permanent:
