Peter Thomas Roth CC-Cream

A CC cream is reminiscent of a foundation, but is not as opaque but focuses on correcting skin tone, hence the name CC which stands for complexion correction. In addition, a CC cream often contains more positive properties than a regular foundation does.

A CC cream that I can really recommend for the summer is Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream Complexion Correction, it gets two thumbs up from me! :)

Peter Thomas Roth CC Cream contains spf 30, so it's really good when staying in the sun! And do not forget that the spring sun is also strong even though it is not summer hot yet.

In addition, it contains ingredients that care for, protect and moisturize the skin as well as anti-aging that reduces wrinkles and fine lines!

I think it has everything I want from a CC cream! Small blemishes are visible through a little (but look much better than before) and it gives a nice glow, so the result looks very natural and the face does not lose its shape. At the same time as the skin tone becomes incredibly even and nice :)

When you want as natural a result as possible, you must not stare blindly at small flaws that you really want to cover / light up, because it is when they disappear that you become "flat and unnatural" or what to say :) But blemishes and shadows do not bother me so much, as long as the skin tone is otherwise even and nice - and it will be with this one!

Summary - Peter Thomas Roth CC-Cream is a great CC cream that evens out the skin tone without giving too much coverage, great if you are looking for a natural but flawless result. Gives a nice glow and feels comfortable on the skin. Contains spf 30, caring substances and anti age which gives the product an extra thumbs up!

For me, it is not the ultimate for the skin type as I am very oily and need effective degrading products, but the durability is still very good, just had to powder me a little extra :)

A tube costs SEK 485 and contains 50 ml. It is available in four different shades, I have light / medium in the picture, but there is also a lighter one that is just called light.

Available for purchase at, among other places HERE :)

So two thumbs up from me! Any of you who tested? What did you think? :)

I have fixed better sound + background music as you wanted, the light could still be improved but it is a little better than the previous movie too! I have also been better at telling people what I use for products, which I also received requests for.

Brown without sun on the hands

"Can you not show / explain in a post how to do when you tan without sunbathing your hands?"

The hands are not the easiest when it comes to tan without sun, but this is what I usually do:

brown-without-sun-on-hands-before-after

1. Lubricate the whole body with your hands.

2. Wash your hands and scrub them thoroughly around the nails and on the palms, otherwise it can easily get extra brown there. Be careful not to splash water on your arms.

Apply a click of tan without sun lotion on the top of the hands and fingers, and how do you do it without smearing the underside of the hands again? - With a cotton ball!

Take a click of brown without sun on the cotton ball and lubricate with it, then you get an even and nice result without hassle and smudges :)

Simple purple makeup

Hello!

Do you know what I did exactly? My second makeup video! Or others and others, I have made about 100 pieces that have not been published haha, but this one was probably good enough so that you will see it as soon as it is finished, etc. and then it is my second published film!

I made a quick and easy purple everyday makeup with three shadows from the trio palette 110 Luxus from Paese Shimmer Trio Eyeshadow. I know you want to see more advanced make-up but I also have to start a little easy before I get into all the technical features.

The make-up is perfect if you want to be a little extra nice but at the same time everyday, e.g. on a date, an important meeting or just to liven up the day :)

Hope you like it!

Permanent makeup - answers to questions

Because I'm working on Creative Make Up one day a week, and have blogged a lot about permanent makeup that Annika at the salon works with, so I often get questions about just this with tattooing makeup!

Some questions are more common than others, but now I thought I would answer some more detailed questions that come up from time to time, which are not as common but which surely many of you want to know :)

Föressten has heard that you do not make taffy eyebrows on people who have rosacea. That the body works actively with the inflammation in the skin and then also repels the color pigments so that it does not adhere. Do you know how it is with 3D? Soooo craving. ”
Response: I had never heard that it would be weird to do permanent makeup on a rosacea complexion, it's so common so I should have heard it before in such cases, I thought. Asked Annika and she said she has never experienced such problems, and she has tattooed many with rosacea.

She did not really know what it is like with other methods, but if the paint does not adhere, they probably do not have good enough equipment, she thought, but it is difficult to say when you are not familiar with other methods. You are only an expert in what you work with, you learn from experience :)

However, if you have a rash / eczema in the area itself that is to be tattooed, you should probably look past the salon and ask first. I do not really know what the rules are about it actually.

3d tattoo-eyebrows

Here you see my eyebrows before and immediately after! The before image is a previous tattoo that has faded (and was much narrower then), and the after image was taken the same day, so it is not as sharp when it healed.

"I have eyelash extensions and want to tattoo eyeliner, is it possible or do I have to remove the lashes first?"
Response: You should not have eyelash extensions during the treatment for three different reasons - 1 it is very unhygienic and can give a risk of infections, 2 it is in the way when you get a tattoo and 3 in addition they will still not last during the treatment because the lashes are hard and gets stuck is the cotton when you wipe off excess color (which you do several times during the treatment). But you can put them back on when the tattoo has healed, which takes about a week.

Here you see before and after on my eyes, I have tattooed black lashliner up, white inliner (waterline) and brown lashliner down. I colored and permed my lashes after as well, then the tattoos get an extra good effect :)

“I have seen several people who have tattooed eyebrows, which turn red when they fade. I absolutely do not want that and therefore consider not getting a tattoo at all. How big is the risk of that? ”
Response: There is a huge difference between tattooists and tattoo artists, I recommend Annika to everyone! She is so popular and talked about that she is already fully booked until mid-June, she knows what she is doing and only uses equipment with the best quality (everything from anesthesia to paints, needles and machines). In other words, yes it is very common for permanent makeup to turn red when it fades, BUT NOT with Annika because she uses colors that do not.

Hope the answers were helpful to all of you who are wondering! If you have any questions, just email me (Helena@imakeyousmile.se) I am very familiar with this even though I do not tattoo myself :) And do not forget that you have a 10% discount on permanent makeup at Annika if you specify me and my blog (the discount code is actually Imakeyousmile, my old blog).
