Sun protection factor for the face

Everyone knows that using sunscreen is very important, but still many are careless. The main reason why it is so important is the risk of cancer, but that point is not as relevant for many because you think a little "it does not happen to me".

But another detail you can think of is how much more wrinkles you will get when you get old, people often think it is more scary because it all happens more or less when you get old in any case.

Therefore, it can be good to use a higher sun protection factor in the face / neck / décolleté than on the body, partly because we care more about the face but also because the skin there is thinner and more sensitive and gets wrinkles faster.

But you do not want to use sunscreen for the body in the face, and regular day creams often had only spf 15. Therefore, I want to tell you about a day cream that I use now during the summer - Yves Rocher Hydrating Day Cream SPF 25 has spf 25 and protects against UVB radiation!

This cream is also packed with moisture, and the moisturizing formula will moisturize the skin for 24 hours! Adapted for normal and combination skin.

Ingredients of vegetable origin: maple sugar, organic agave juice, betaine and organic hazelnut water. Maple sap and blue agave deeply moisturize the skin.

I think this day cream is super nice on the skin, you feel that it is incredibly moisturizing and wonderful. I got shiny in the face for a while afterwards (I take quite a lot of it because I mainly use it for sun protection) but it passed after a while when the cream had sunk into the skin.

In addition, it only costs 75 kronor, the formula is just over so I can imagine that they last a long time as well. You can buy it here!

I think it's a bit mentally difficult to publish today's make-up, because I did not finish and am therefore not completely satisfied with the fades that are so important on a carbon black sweep.

Why did I quit before I was happy? The answer is simple - spider in the make-up room !! Ugh how ridiculous you are haha, easy to say in retrospect but once I stand with a spider in front of me it's like the whole world stops and I start sweating cold, I really panic!

Anyway, today's makeup is a black sweep that I did to test NYX black eye shadow ”NYX Single Eyeshadow”. And what makeup is better to test a black eye shadow on than a black sweep? :)

I used eyeshadow primer from the same brand as well, NYX HD Eye Shadow Base, and it attached really well! The eyeshadow is completely matte, carbon black and easy to work with. I like :) Costs around SEK 89 so the price is not entirely a shame either!

Today's make-up is a summery party make-up (or for me everyday make-up) which is perfect if you travel a lot - the products I have used are few and small so they are super easy to carry in your suitcase on holiday.

In addition, it is easy to vary the make-up by making it darker / lighter or choosing a different lip color!

Liquid lipstick - Paese Manifesto Liquid Lipstick (904)
Kajalpenna - Bebe Poche (make-up brand from Taiwan)
Mascara - Paese Adore 3D Lash Mascara
Hard make-up brush - Sheer Cover (can't find this on the website anymore)

I just applied eyeliner along the upper lash line and toned it out for a more smoky feeling, and then finished with mascara and lipstick - simple!

If you want a darker party look, you can apply more along the lower lash line and also the waterline. And if you want more discreet, you can apply thinner along the upper lash line, either sharp or faded.

Waterclouds Argan Oil Serum (Review)

A few weeks ago I received a product kit from the hair care brand Waterclouds.

Waterclouds are only produced in Sweden and are specially developed for typical Scandinavian hair. In fact, I've never tried anything from this brand before!

Shampoo, hair wrap, leave-in conditoner and hair oil! Available for purchase here.

Since I have fallen in love with argan oil, I was extra happy with the hair oil, so it was the first to be tested!

Waterclouds Argan Oil Serum does not contain 100% argan oil but it is not very much other additives either. It is very reminiscent of pure argan oil except that it is a little thicker and smells stronger.

Argan oil is a thin and luxurious oil with very small molecules that quickly penetrate the skin and hair. It contains unsaturated fatty acids and is rich in Vitamin E, and renews the cell structure in the hair and restores the hair's luster.

I like this oil very much!
It goes quickly into the hair.
The hairs feel smooth and soft.
The hair becomes shiny and fine.
It does not weigh down the hair, but it still feels light and airy!

Costs SEK 262 and is available at several online stores and many hair salons.

I have a bit of a hard time with such large openings though, it's hard to get out just a small amount in my hand. But that's probably the only negative I have to say, and that's a trifle :)
