The day before yesterday I did a make-up with Yves Rochers Limited Edition eyeliner which I applied around the entire eye and along the waterline.
And after wearing that makeup all day and evening, I can now give my review! :)
The colors
I have the yellow, blue and turquoise pen (there is also a brown one) and they are incredibly pigment-rich and opaque! The colors are just as nice and intense on the skin as they look before application.
Application
I really prefer narrow pencils, these are quite thick, but it is still possible to paint as the texture is quite creamy and glides on easily on the skin. You can either make a sharp line, or fade out with a brush for a more smoky look.
sustainability
The eyeliner pens are cheap and not waterproof, which made me conclude that the durability would be like that. But that was judging by me! The texture is creamy immediately after application, but dries soon after and then the paint is basically rub-proof. As I said, they are not waterproof so they do not last if you e.g. crying, but even on the waterline there was a lot of color left in the evening when I would wash off the makeup even though I had very sensitive and teary eyes that day (my eyes do not like windy weather). So I give sustainability a thumbs up!
In other words, I can really recommend these eyeliner pens this summer, the colors are so nice for a tanned complexion! The pens are sold between May and September.
