Reader question

"Hello! A quick question regarding skin care. I always have quite a lot of pimples, at the same time as I am often "flaky" dry in many places on my face. And if I use products for dry skin I get pimples, if I use for oily skin I get completely dehydrated. Snäääälla give me tips on good, preferably cheap, products, I feel completely lost… ”

Hey! My answer was so far so I take it in a post instead, think there are more who have the same problem as you!

The very best thing is to go to a skin care salon and do a skin analysis, if you really want to be sure of what kind of products you need.

But it sounds a bit like you are dry, because an unbalanced dry skin can also get pimples. How long did you test dry skin products before giving up? It often takes 1-2 months for the skin to get used to new skin care, namely, and then you can get pimples for just that reason! There are many who do not think about this, and give up the products before they get to see the result.

If you are unsure, it is at least better with products for dry skin even though you are oily, than the other way around.

It may also be that you have a mixed skin, which is simply dry in some places and oily in others. So am I! I usually mix some products (but from the same brand) and feel for myself which ones work. A mild cleanser and toner for sensitive skin, and then creams for oily skin is what works best for me!

This is what my skin looks like now, was photographed today immediately when I woke up, before cleansing and all that.

What I have noticed is that I at least prefer natural products. Then you can test yourself without it being a huge mistake, with acids and such ingredients, it is super important that you get it right for your skin.

I use the Sanctum brand which is natural and organic, and will write more about my new skin care when I have fully tested it. But Yves Rocher and Lumene are also brands that use without natural ingredients in their products, and they are also very affordable!

Hope my answer was helpful :)

As a beauty freak, it is important to me that other details are also nice, and not just makeup, hair and nails.

Therefore, I just have to show you the new stuff I just bought for my mobile! It's so nice now! : D

White quilted mobile case, and a mobile jewelery with pearls, fluff tassel and tassel!

Both come from fyndiq.se and cost a little over 100 bucks together.

Surely you're getting a little jealous now? :)

Waterproof makeup

When I did this make-up, the sun shone straight in through the windows, so you can excuse the half-baked pictures - I had to experiment for a long time to even get them at this level hehe.

Here is at least an eye makeup that is completely waterproof (!) And also easy to do :)

Perfect this summer if you get put in the lake or whatever now can happen. Or maybe on the student platform when you are always drenched in alcoholic beverages? ;)

In this make-up, both the eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara are waterproof. And if you have a good makeup remover for your eyes, it is still not difficult to wash off.

Mascaran Big Look is a novelty from Pür Minerals, exactly the same as their Big Blink mascara but waterproof! However, both will change their name to Big Look.

The eyeliner is Lumene Bluebery Intense Liner Waterproof, and I have reviewed it in one previous posts if you want to read more.

The eyeshadow is a bronze cream eyeshadow from Yves Rocher called Cream Eyeshadow 12H Waterproof, and is a Limited Edition product released in June. Available in two colors but I have used "11 Cuivre".

Note that only the shade "11 Cuivre" is the Limited Edition, the eye shadows are available for purchase here fixed in other colors.

Bronze cream eye shadow smoked around the whole eye.
Black eyeliner along the upper lash line.
Black mascara on all lashes.

I also put some shimmer in the corner of my eye, Annika's Favorite Shadow.

I did this make-up a few days ago, and unfortunately do not remember which base or lip gloss I have. Typical!

Hope you have a wonderful Saturday :)

Lipstick tips for dark skin

Did you see how good-looking Feben was in Top Model earlier this week? Dark lips, intense marked eyes and perfectly shaped eyebrows. Wow!

For those of you with dark skin, I can really recommend dark lipsticks, it's so awesome! Both for everyday and for parties :)

Dark lipsticks suit everyone, but are a little easier for dark-skinned people to wear because the contrast is not as great. How nice!

You do not miss / forget that I blog in the beauty tab on Zara Larsson's blog now and then too? And as usual also on Modern Mom, but you're probably aware of that.

You must not miss posts! :)

The day before yesterday, for example, there were only two posts here on Imakeyousmile (because I spilled acetone over the computer and had to turn it off during the evening)  but there was one post on Zara's blog and one on Modern Mom as well, so in total there were still four posts from little me! :)
