Neutral bridal makeup

Here is a test make-up that I did before a bridal makeup that I had booked the week after :)

She does not wear make-up at all in ordinary cases and wanted a natural look. Here is the result:

BASE:
Face primer - Pixi Flawless & poreless primer
Foundation - Pixi H2O Skintint (2 Nude)
Concealer - glo Under eye concealer (Golden)
Contouring & matt highlighter - Pixi Contour creator
Luminous highlighter - Pixi Glow-Y-Powder (Santorini Sunset)
Rouge - glo Skin Beauty Blush (Papaya)
Fixing mist - Pixi makeup fixing mist

EYEBROW:
Brynpenna - glo Skin Beauty Miro brow liner (Light brown)

EYES:
Eyeshadow Primer - Pixi eye bright primer
Eyeshadows - glo Shadow Quad (Bon Voyage)
Light eyeliner along the waterline - gloMinerals Eye Pencil (Peach)
Eyeliner - Kryolan HD Cream Liner (Ebony)
Mascara - Magnetic lash mascara

LIPS:
Lip pencil in the contours - Benecos Lip Liner (Brown)
Lipstick - glo Lipstick (Bella)

Many small details that together make a big difference even though the whole is very natural. When you want a natural result, I usually say that each product should not make a wow-big difference, but it is everything together then that becomes a nice whole :)

My business week v. 35

This week I have mostly tried to catch up with as many small things as possible so that I do not have things that "lag behind" next week. For next week I have a lot more booked things and then we go to Spain, woop woop!

However, I wish I had been more efficient this week when, for the sake of the unusual, I had an incredibly empty schedule in terms of timed things (the to-do list has been getting longer though). But it has been a specific chaos thing that took both time and energy and also a lot of desire if I am to be honest, I have been quite sad. So I have not been the most effective knife in the box, which I had to soot for at the end of the week instead when I worked until 12 o'clock on Friday night and also some on Saturday.

But now the situation is under control and I feel better too, so no worries :)

Autumn feelings
Every autumn I say the same thing - autumn is more New Year's to me than New Year's Eve is. The feeling when the schools start, no one has a holiday anymore and you can walk around the house in thick musk clothes and drink tea.

I have now taken up a routine that I had to take a break during the summer - light scented candles when I put on make-up! So cozy and I really perk up when the room is filled with a fresh and clean scent :)

One tip I really want to give you all is to take advantage of the fall feelings as something positive! See it as a great fresh start, kick off the routines and feel inspired!

Be predicted over the phone
I believe a lot in spirituality, energies and things that are not science (yet at least) and feel that I am a bit medial myself, but in an unexplored way. I had a new customer last Monday who said "I just have to say you have such wonderful energies, I see so many colors, I just had to say it!" so happy I was! She is medial and has worked with angel healing and stuff and asked me if I am medial, because she felt the energies :)

Annika calls a fortune teller regularly and I have called her once before as well - and now it was time again!

There is something incredibly reassuring about getting confirmation that you are on the right path. Even if she does not say shocking things but a lot that you really already know, you become so calm and secure afterwards because you get like extra support.

In addition, she got in touch with my mother and it was completely unexpected how that whole discussion started to be about my job. She said that my mother is visiting me but she is more with others because "I manage so well myself". But also that my mother was very determined towards me about a specific thing, about the job. Mom greeted me not to worry about money, I will make my money and it will be stable. And it's pretty much in the middle of what takes up a lot of my thinking - worries about the economy and the feeling that I have to build a secure buffer in case something goes wrong! Especially private right now. And I definitely recognize this determination in my mother, so my mother was not a definite person at all, but just when I was talking about work, she could get that extremely definite attitude that I almost thought she was joking. Kind of when it came to taking out money for himself and stuff that was about the company but indirectly about me being kind to myself, or kind of forcing me to take a bath and served me with juice and ice cream to keep me there and take it easy :) It is not possible to explain exactly in text, but I know exactly what she means ♥

And this new company we are going to start (which I blogged a bit about earlier) she came up with before I even asked about it. That it was an idea that had lain dormant but is now being taken up again. And in October, according to her, we will have a lot of work around this, everything is being shaped now and she saw how I lie in bed and think about all the different ways and alternatives. And that's exactly what it is haha!

Yes she said a lot, it's kind of a whole essay :) And everything's right and she's so heavenly sure, you can not not believe it. It really is not info that "fits in with anyone".

But anyway, everything with the company's future looks positive, so I can breathe a sigh of relief!

I have found several four-leaf clovers this summer and I also see that as a sign from my mother! She always found lots :) Although you can see everything as a "sign" if you want. I said the same thing the other day when we drove past hay bales that had several painted four-leaf clovers on them and I exclaimed “Look! That's a greeting from mom! ” and Miska replied "that is the Center Party's logo, isn't it?" Lol!

Planning an autumn event with Art Clinic
Two years ago, Art Clinic held an event that we participated in as partners and it was so successful! I remember that I had a queue around me of people who wanted to get answers to questions and talk, so much fun :) Soon it's time again and this year it will be even more magnificent, Art Clinic has an anniversary at the same time and there will be up to 200 guests!

The date has been booked for a very long time and my and Miska's Spain trip is planned just so that we can get home the day before this. This means that we have to prepare everything now before we go to Spain (1 week left!) Because we do not have much time later, we come home and then it is time to pack everything for the event venue.

Here is part of my preparation list! The blue @ names are the way we mark who should do what because it is a shared document. The headline at the bottom is the evaluation that everyone at the salon wrote together after the last event and it is really a tip for you who work with similar things - immediately after a thing like this, you always have lots of improvements to remember next time. But when "next time" comes, you do not remember them. Write up immediately after and save! It's really worth its weight in gold, we got a lot of good help from that document with tips that we wrote to ourselves without remembering it haha.

Work on the morning twig
I start working early in the morning to take make-up pictures for the blog, so that everything is finished before the "real" work day starts at the salon later.

Last Friday, however, I was so far behind with everything that I ignored putting on my make-up completely and instead stayed in bed, drank coffee and worked with the computer in my arms. It was so cozy actually!

I then finished all the campaign photos for September, including offers on teeth whitening and when shopping for glo Skin Beauty products.

Here is one of the campaign images located on the website. Tips on our new natural glitter! Then we have a plugin on the website so that you can add a link button somewhere e.g. "Read more", so I have left room for it under the text in the picture.

I usually make 4 different pictures which are all made in 3 or 4 different formats: a square to social media, an oblong to our oblong screen in the store, a narrow and wide to the website and during the darker months we have a screen in the shop window as well is a 4th format. So there can be up to 16 pictures.

It will be a bit cutting and sticking in photoshop :)

And here I am doing this month's "get the look make-up" made by me :) At the same time as I lie in bed and drink coffee, I'm fine!

Glitter tips for the staff
I always try to remember to pass on my knowledge to all makeup artists at work, because I always think that they are as good as me (they are!) But I easily forget that I experiment a lot more with the blog - so of course there are lots of little tips that I can share. I develop all the time, me too :)

I therefore suggested that we play a little with glitter and Ida grabbed immediately!

So we had a quick mini-training where I showed different application techniques for glitter such as. what type of brushes do I choose so that glitter does not end up under the eyes, that Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist is great to moisten the brush with if you want to get shimmery shadows more metallic but it is not so good to attach glitter with - it is possible but it releases easily if you happen to access with your finger or so, so Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer is the only thing I drive with. And vice versa, I do not use Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer to moisten the brush to regular eye shadows. And how to think so that the glitter does not feel tight and uncomfortable on the eyelid, which is extra important for customers with fairly loose skin on the eyelid.

You get the point, those little dots over the i-tips that you learn when you use glitter type every day on yourself :)

More glitter for the people!

Now this week I also finished all the blog posts that are published when we are in Spain, so nice :) Now I am ready for the holidays!

Thank you for reading and thank you for being there, you are the best! ♥ Hugs!
