Purple makeup

1

Here is a fairly simple make-up with only two eye shadows.

A little discreet color in everyday life, and can be done quickly!

In addition highlights the green eyes for you who have it! :)

Light yellow / white eye shadow inside the eyelid and lower lash line, in the corner of the eye and under the brow, Annika's Favorite Shadow Eyedust (N.1)
Purple eyeshadow smoky on the outer eyelid and lower lash line, 252 Palettes.

Black eyeliner along the upper and outer rows of the lower lashes, L'Oréal Paris Contour Khôl.
White eyeliner along the waterline.

Black mascara on all lashes. Make Up Store, Multilash.

Simple and nice!

Primer

Julia sa…
Hey! I really like your blog and I wonder if you could make a post about primer. What it does, how to use it and where? Bought some primer from Loréal before that I have as a base on the eyelid but I have heard and read that you should have them on your face with? Yes it would be nice if you, as I said, could make a post about them :) hugs!

I wrote a post about primer quite recently, but I can publish it again! :)

It shocks me that so few use the product that is mine main tool in the make-up bag. It is also common that many do not even know what it is!

The wonderful tool I'm talking about is of course a primer (pronounced prajmer)

You could say that a primer is a makeup glue. Usually a transparent or skin-colored cream, which is applied before make-up.

The colors get stronger, as well holding much longer. In addition, the eye shadow becomes much easier to work with!

Top - Eyeshadow without primer.
Bottom - Eyeshadow with primer.

Face primer - Applied to the entire face, after face lotion, before foundation.
Eye primer - Applied around the eyes (only up to the eyebrow and on the lower lash line, so that you do not miss anywhere and risk getting spotted eye shadow at the outer edges) after foundation, before eye shadow

Face primer - I use gloMinerals face primer, think it's super good! Have also reviewed it in one previous posts.

Eye primer - To the eyes I have Lumene's eye primer. Costs around 100 bucks at Kicks.

Hug from me!

Sweeping to green-brown eyes

Linnea sa…
Hey! I wonder if there is any nice makeup that suits green eyes with brown spots in! I myself often smokey eye, but can you add something to it that is a little extra! Hug

It's incredible many details you can add a sweep, eyeliner, color clicks with eye shadow, colorful mascara, etc.

Green eyes are highlighted by purple, and brown eyes are highlighted by cool shades. The answer is therefore one cold lila color! :)

Adding a blue shade is also shitty, and also highlights the brown in your eyes even more.

Here's a suggestion on how you could do it!

(All eyeshadows are from the 252 palette, which I will soon start selling in my own web shop!)

1. Purple eye shadow on the inside of the eyelid and in the corner of the eye.

2. Sota med black eye shadow on the rest of the eyelid.
Smashbox (Kiss' N Tell)

3. Blue eye shadow on the inner lash line and a little just inside the lower lash line.

Here I would recommend a eyeliner, for example IsaDora Twist-up Metallic Eye Pen (Blue Hawaii). But I did not find mine, so to show the effect, I added eye shadow instead. However, eye shadow on the inner lash line feels quite dry and does not work as well as a pencil.

4. Put it on lila the eye shadow also a little discreetly over the globe line.

5. Add black eyeliner along the upper and lower lash line.
L'Oréal Paris Contour Khôl.
6. Blur lightly with, for example, a harder brush.

7. Black mascara on all lashes.
Make Up Store, Multilash.
8. Blue hair mascara (you take what you have) on the lower lashes, IsaDora.

Lip gloss + red lip pencil = Nice raspberry red shade.

Have a nice evening everyone!

Attach single false eyelashes

Madeleine sa…
Hey! Have some questions regarding this :) I find it quite difficult to attach false eyelashes and I also find it difficult to make it look natural. Have used whole lines but intend to try with the single lashes! How to do with the glue, you should press out a little on e.g. paper and then dip the fringe? And how do you look with the eye, should you close your eyes or look straight ahead? And will it be easiest by hand or with tweezers?

Yes, individual lashes become much more natural than whole lines. And for my sensitive eyes, it is also much nicer!

All 3 of your questions are really a matter of matter of taste. But I can tell you how I goes to work :)

I usually push some glue out of the tube, and then dip the fringe in the actual drop in the opening.

I neither look straight ahead nor close my eyes when I attach the fringe.
I lean behind my head a little, while looking at my eyes in the mirror, so that I basically kisar a little against myself.

I also usually use one tweezers to single lashes. It is very easy to happen that you happen to angle the fringe in different directions so that it looks strange from the side. With tweezers, you can see more clearly exactly how the straws should lie, otherwise the hand may be gone.

Good luck!

I have seen so many beautiful, sophisticated but at the same time sexy make-ups on Mila Kunis, and I think these would work very well on myself (since we have the same eye shape and color, unfortunately not because we are the same otherwise ;-)

I have seen lots of recommended warm nice shadows to put on the husband, but never any explanation of how to proceed step by step. Now send my hope to you :-) how do you really put on her eye makeup?

Ah she is always just as good looking! :)

Sometimes she is more neutral, and others very make-up. I made an intermediate variant.

Regardless, there are some characteristics which in principle is always present in her make-up:
1. Intense eyes - dark framed, always with black eyeliner on the inner lash line.
2. Warm brown eye shadows.
3. Diffuse soot.
4. Very highlighter.

// Ah, she's always looking great! :)

Some occasions she is more neutral, and other wearing much makeup. I made a middle variation.

This make-up contains many different steps and takes some time to do. But it is not so difficult as long as you have the patience to erase a lot! :)
