Extra cracks like Santa Claus

0

Thought to try to sneak in a little more personal posts now and then. What do you think of that idea?

I can imagine that it feels better to "get to know" the person you follow every day? :)

Anyway, yesterday I was Santa Claus at Mjölnarens Mat & Café in Östhammar (which my sister owns, with her colleague Angelica)

Despite the fact that half my face was visible, when there was trouble with the Santa mask, I still had fun with the children who got to sing julvisor for me while I stood next to and danced with my big pillow-belly! ;) Luckily you are not ashamed too easily!

It was such a heavenly cozy Christmas atmosphere!

A little thicker on one side, but who is perfect;)

A lot of children came in when I had a lunch break in the kitchen.
Now we know who you are”Said Dom. Whatever I answered, I did not get them to leave and stop staring at me!

Have a nice Tuesday everyone!

Mascara in winter

It's so boring when mascaras that you really think are good, do not sit at all when the winter cold comes!

This winter it is waterproof mascaras that apply. When you go out and it is -15 degrees, the mascara freezes. Then you go into the heat and then it melts again, which results in a really, really wet mascara!

Therefore, I thought I would write about 4 different mascaras, in what ways they are good and how they work this winter :)

The mascara that I think gives the most beautiful lashes is Max Factor Flase Lash Effect. Separates and gives volume at the same time!

However, it runs out quickly, and is not too good in the winter. But if you are careful with the lashes when they are wet, it can still look decent when it has dried again!

Must, must, must test their waterproof! May write it on this year's wish list;)

The only mascara that really sits in all weathers and situations, that is djv beautenizer fiberwig LX mascara!
It gives volume (especially the volume mascara from the same brand, wow!) But it does not separate the lashes as much as Max Factor.

The mascara is really awesome, but I like to work with the lashes more and it is a bit difficult as this mascara dries quite quickly. Otherwise perfect!

IsaDoras new mascara Dynamic Lash Growth gives nice lashes I think. Like the narrow rubber brush!
However, it is horrible at work, not to mention when it snows outside.

When I look at myself in the mirror after a day at the counter, I have black stripes under the eyebrows from my lashes. And when the snow came it was impossible to continue using unfortunately, when I arrived at work I had more mascara during eyes than on the lashes! So damn pity about an otherwise good mascara - which will also make the lashes grow.

It may reappear on quiet indoor occasions;)

When I tested one today last mascara in the make-up bag, L'Oreal Paris Mega Volume Collagen, so I first became happy when I got to work. Nothing under the eyes! But then I looked a little closer and the lashes looked like they had been sprayed with water.

When they then wiped, they looked this awful:

Have you seen how awful they became!
This mascara that otherwise gives such a damn nice volume (however, a bit sticky if you happen to take too much)

BUT (this is not part of the post itself really) look so nice the eye shadow remains anyway, has not improved on it at all and this picture was taken after the whole working day has passed. Cruel!

The eye shadow is a cream eye shadow from IsaDora, Cream Mousse Eye Shadow (Fudge)

Thumbs down for ugly eyelashes due to the winter cold.
Thumbs up for Fiberwig and for me to take my thumb out of my ass and try Max Factor's waterproof mascara!

Incidentally, the day has been good despite fever and throat pain :( Have had to nibble Alvedon and Ipren. Now it will be a bit "Draw Something" with Miska, and then the best medicine - sleep!

Puss fina ni!

Simple brown sweeping (Step by step)

10

Hilda sa… Va coolt !! Could you do it step by step, on a SIMPLE brown sweep? Am a beginner and have just bought my first palette (50 matte chocolates by IsaDora) and do not really know how to make a sweep…. Always ends with me looking like a panda: / help please? :)

Many times a make-up is easier if you use as few shadows as possible. It is however on the contrary with sweeps!

Instead of working, working and working to get a nice erase with one eye shadow, so you can apply instead one more a little lighter shade over the dark and thus fake an erasure!

Besides, I was stingy with eye shadow on the lower lash line, it is entirely a matter of taste but can be easier if you easily feel like a panda!

I do not have the palette that Hilda uses.

But I have a 4-palette from the same brand that is very similar!
IsaDora Eyeshadow Quartet (44 Muddy)

Light brown eye shadow on the inside of the eyelid.

Dark brown eye shadow at the bottom of the eyelid.

Brown eye shadow on the rest of the eyelid.

Then erase the edges!

Dark brown eye shadow at the end of the lower lash line.
Light eye shadow on the rest of the lower lash line, in the corner of the eye and under the brow.

White eyeliner on the inner lash line, H&M.
Dark brown eyeliner along the upper lash line, IsaDora Colorful Eyeliner (12 Dark Brown)

Kajalpenna works just as well if you think that liquid eyeliner is difficult!

Mascara on all lashes, IsaDora Precision Mascara (10 Deep Black)

Do you see how nice my eyebrows are now that they have healed! Perfect shade too :)

Now I'm going to crawl under the warm blanket, damn it. Was Christmas empty outdoors in minus 15 degrees, before I realized that it was nicer to talk to the children who were indoors;)

Have a nice evening everyone!

Peek

Here is a small peek at today's make-up, has done a simple brown sweeping step by step!

But first I will crack a little extra like Santa Claus;)

Happy first Advent!

More professional make-up

Now I have (or rather Miska) figured out how to transfer the posts from my old blog to my new one!

So now I "avoid" sitting and publishing about the posts that I want to be able to find in the archive! However, I still think it's a fun idea to drive a bit favorites and replays! :)

Here's one of my favorite posts from the tips label!

When I started to put on a little more make-up than usual, it became foundation, blush, 2 different eye shadows and mascara.
But I never thought I managed to make it look as professional as you saw in newspapers!
Therefore, I now thought to go through a little details one can do to make a look look more professional.

Has done a pretty classic 3-eyeshadow make-up on both eyes.
But on the right side ( in the pictures) I have added details that are not really difficult to do, but give the look a more professional feel!

Left eye - Three eye shadows and mascara.

Right eye.
  1. Filled eyebrows can do a lot for the make-up as a whole! Many people have nice eyebrows without filling them in, but if you fill in a little, it can still make a big difference. Quite a habit!
  2. Highlighter in the corner of the eye and under the brow. I have added a lot of light shade in the picture, if you take less you get a more natural result.
  3. Kajal pen on the inner lash line (White or black) Makes the make-up look more finished and well-worked.
  4. Black liquid eyeliner along the upper lash line. Kajalpenna works just as well, especially if you have difficulty applying liquid eyeliner. Better a poor horse than no horse at all.
  5. Black eye shadow slightly sooted along the globe line (not so that it is visible, it should only reinforce what is already)
  6. "Extend" the eye shadow in a straight line a few mm below the lower lash line. Light shadow / white eyeliner over. This is a detail that is not very common, and also the eyes look much bigger!

The face.
7. Shading (eg sun powder) in temples, under the jawbones and on the sides of the chin. In addition to blush of course!

8. Gloss / pencil / pen on the lips is the icing on the cake for the make-up to look perfect.

Now I will crawl into bed, tomorrow I will be Santa Claus at Mjölnarens Mat & Café as it is sign Sunday in Östhammar.

Hugs are!
