In collaboration with Yves Rocher, I can now offer a discount code that gives you a SEK 50 discount when you shop for SEK 250 on Yvesrocher.se by entering the discount code ”HELENA50”Woop, woop! :)

In connection with this, I have also set their product range Sébo Végétal (adlink) on trial! It is a skin care series for oily skin, and you all know that this fits me like a glove!

The series is designed to reduce oiliness and all products contain frozen herbs that balance the skin.

What I have tested is cleanser, micellar water, serum and moisturizer and each product is between 4 and 5 stars of the customer reviews on their website. The product series also includes a face mask, peeling and a cover pin for blemishes, but I have not tested these three products.

General information about the series:

Results
I have not used the series for such a long time that I have been able to see any difference in the number of pimples, oiliness and such, it takes at least a month to be able to determine how the products affect in the long term.

What I can determine right now is that they are gentle on the skin and do not make the skin more shiny immediately after use. Many cleanses for oily skin are so strong that you become tight as a doll in the face afterwards and have to hurry to lubricate yourself, and many creams for oily skin are too thin so that they do not moisturize properly or they make the skin shiny so too although it is good for the oiliness, you are still already shiny from the cream itself. But these are not like that at all, the skin feels moisturized and soft even though it is produced for oily skin, and matte immediately after the skin care routine, so I really like it :)

Fragrance
The scent corners, the scent is wonderful! I usually prefer natural scents or completely odor-free products more as many products often get a little prickly in the nose otherwise, but these smell clearly but so really fresh and good! Would love to have a body lotion in this fragrance!

Yves Rocher Sébo Végétal Purifying Cleansing Gel (adlink)
I usually like creamy cleansers more is gel, but this one is an exception! It feels very thick and soft and not all as "gel-sticky" as many can be. Hard to describe in text but the texture is in any case very delicious! It foams if you work it up properly but otherwise it does not foam.

It washes off the make-up effectively and you feel really clean afterwards without getting dry and tight.

Two thumbs up!

Yves Rocher Sebo Végétal Purifying Micellar Water 2 in 1 (adlink)
Even the micellar water gets two thumbs up from me! I use it both as a makeup remover for both eyes and base makeup before I clean my face, and as a toner after I clean my face.

If you have a mascara that sits extra hard, it does not disappear easily with this, but most mascaras and the rest of the make-up dissolve quickly and are easy to wash off. I like to remove the make-up before I wash with the cleanser so that I do not have to use so much water on my face as it dries out the skin.

I have tested some micellar water that makes the skin feel sticky afterwards, but it certainly does not make it. The skin is extra cleansed and feels really fresh! And smells fresh too;)

This was nominated for Best Budget Product of the Year in the Daisy Beauty Awards 2015!

Yves Rocher Sebo Vegetable Pore Minimizing Serum (adlink)
The main thing for the serum to do is to minimize pores, but I have more problems with oiliness and impure pores and not that they are particularly enlarged, so at that point it is difficult for me to determine.

My first impression of the serum and moisturizer in the series was good, they feel really soft on the skin and nice to apply. The serum has a thin gel consistency. But both creams crumble on the skin, so it can not be used in the morning when you have to put on make-up. Too bad because otherwise I like this one!

Does anyone know of chemistry who knows why some products become so? You think a bit "has no one tested this before it was launched?" and in the product reviews on their website it says a lot that it crumbles on the skin while some are very happy, so it does not seem to be so for everyone.

Yves Rocher Sebo Vegetable Zero Blemish Gel Cream (adlink)
As I wrote under the serum, the moisturizer also has the problem that it crumbles on the skin, a real shame! Otherwise, it moisturizes well and neither the serum nor the moisturizer makes the skin become more glossy, which I think is great. The texture of this moisturizer is really smooth and soft and becomes really nice on the skin. Works as both a day and night cream.

Price SEK 149

Summary - The combination with the cleaning and the micellar water is great and can be recommended! They are also really affordable and cost only SEK 79 both. The creams had gotten their thumbs up from me but unfortunately they crumble on the skin when they have dried in so for that reason I can not recommend them.

My discount code ”HELENA50 ″ applies to all products on Yvesrocher.se (adlink) and not just the skin care I wrote about today :) The code is valid until 30 September 2017.

Hugs are! ♥

  1. I have the micellar water and serum (already the second or third bottle!) From this series and have been satisfied. The micellar water may not be much more special than others, but it is still good. I like the serum because it leaves a slightly duller, finer complexion when applied. I also had problems in the beginning with it crumbling but now I do so that I take 3-4 clicks on the hand and then I rub the serum between the hands quickly first before I lubricate it in the face. And then I let it soak in for a while before the next product. Then the end result will be good :)
