It was a long time since we talked a little entrepreneurship here in the blog! :) I got very positive feedback when I wrote more about it before, so here is an update on the situation and some cash mobile pictures of what my day has looked like!
For a year, I have gone from working from home with only a blog and webshop, to starting up a 360 sqm salon in central Uppsala with 6 employees and 3 co-owners. We just got the reports from March which turned out to be a real record month! And in June, By Her AB has been around for a whole year and if sales continue as they have in recent months, we have a final figure that we are all MORE than proud of :)
If we are satisfied? If we feel ready? Answer no!
The most fun thing about our team is that no one is one who thinks small and short-term, we dare to think big and constantly get new ideas that many had not even dared to think haha.
But to grow, and above all to have a business that capable of to grow fast, you have to have a good foundation to stand on. Therefore, we have now started business development with Peragenda, which will be with us for 1 1/2 years to come. We have met at some long meetings already, and are finally starting to get started properly!
The whole start has been spent going through our business and looking at it properly. There have been a lot of lectures and lots of information and knowledge about business building, and it's so sickly interesting and inspiring!
There are so many companies that only invest in marketing and sales to get as much money as possible, but when you do not invest in the foundation of the company, it ends up that everyone just runs around like whirlwinds and "extinguishes fires" and emergency. solutions that need to be fixed now now, preferably yesterday. And it's neither fun nor effective.
We want structure, 100% control of the situation and above all a really great workplace! :) That's why we have now invested in business development with Peragenda and I feel inspired at my fingertips :)
We have partly looked at what shortcomings and opportunities we have, but above all what we wants achieve!
Without clear goals, you are not as effective, and above all, goals are an incredible driving force. It's so easy to just look ahead all the time that you never realize that "today I'm exactly where I used to want to be" and give yourself a pat on the back and celebrate properly, before moving on to the next step: )

Today we finally finished with our goal picture, and have three clean goals set that we should have reached last June 30, 2017.

When you split up your thoughts and goals like this (good to do even in private), you realize how much you have in your head unnecessarily. There were so extremely many points (before we "cleaned" and came to 3 pieces in the end) that have been a stressful moment in the back of my mind, but when you really start to think about what each point means, you realize that you do only the most important parts, the rest will come automatically. Fascinating indeed! :)
I could chat about this for ages, hope you find it interesting! But now I'm going to start washing and donating a lot here at home. Will wash 100 bandage rolls (wraps for the UCW treatment) which will be a total of 8 washing machines, pjuh.
