Applying a nice eyeliner is next to a whole science.
I have previously written a detailed posts about how to paint the eyeliner itself, and also a more general one eyeliner inserts.
But here are (briefly) my three best tips!
1. Tilt the elbow towards an e.g. a table if you are unsteady on the hand.
2. Use a sharp edge as a "template" in the outer edges, if you have difficulty getting a straight / even eyeliner wing. For example, a sheet of paper, bank card or business card! Tape also works well, and you do not have eye shadow underneath that gets ruined.
3. Do not paint the eyeliner too far out, then it is difficult to get it to "lift the eye". If the eyeliner goes down first, and then up, it does not have the same positive effect.
