I have always been very careful with my hair, I have very rarely styled it with heating tools (only if I go to a party which is not very often) and have always been both careful not to wear it and cared for it with good products.

The only thing I do (which I also got better at since I became a little darker blonde) is to bleach my hair, it does not like my hair at all! I have very easy to get torn hair, so I have to be proper on all other points so that it does not fall off.

In other words, I have tested a lot when it comes to hair, I am a real hair care product nerd;) and therefore thought to share exactly what my routines look like today, because I feel a little that I have found my home in the hair care jungle!

First and foremost, the products you use most often are the most important to prioritize. Your hair will thank you more for being a little taken care of every day than if you are careless for a month and then buy a very expensive hair wrap. In other words, invest in a good shampoo and conditioner that your hair likes! Many people have a barrier when it comes to just shampoo and conditioner, because there is so much cheap that still does the job, but it becomes more expensive in the long run with more hairdresser visits and expensive products that repair the hair. And the result will not be as good either.

I began to love Sanctum already after the first use, I would not have taken it into the shop otherwise for shampoo and conditioner are quite "boring" products that I have not previously thought of taking in, but these I love! The hair gets really smooth and above all I like that it feels so heavenly light and airy without being fluffy. I can almost not stop touching it after the shower :) Otherwise, my hair tends to both feel rough and look like a licked cat without volume products, but I no longer have that problem!

In addition, it feels good in the heart also to in good conscience flush the products down the drain, these are 100% natural ingredients of which between 82%-95% are organically certified! Among other things, the products contain aloe vera which binds moisture, but here are a few more of the ingredients and what they do for the hair (the ingredients vary a bit depending on the product and hair type)

Sugar cane which cleanses the hairs deeply and gives the shampoo its foaming effect.
Jojoba oil which smoothes out frizzy hair and gives you control over split ends.
Lemon oil is bactericidal, soothing and refreshing.
Argan oil which is a luxurious miracle oil that provides moisture and nourishment to hair and scalp, and helps damaged hairs to become soft and manageable.
Chamomile which is caring and soothing for the scalp and hair.
Soy protein which strengthens the hairs.
Lime oil which is bactericidal, soothing and refreshing.
Guar gum which is extracted from the guar plant and gives volume to thin hairs.

I shower my hair about every 4 days, and then I wash the hair 2 times with shampoo as the hairs are not completely open on the first use, but thoroughly cleaned the second time. I massage the scalp a lot while shampooing, but I am quite careful not to ruffle the lengths. Then I apply the conditioner and then I do not frizz at all in the hair but work it in with downward hand movements. I let the conditioner sit for a few minutes while I wash my body and face.

After the shower, I lubricate the hair with argan oil, 100% pure argan oil I like the most but it gets a little expensive for the hair so oils that mostly contain argan oil also work super well. Waterclouds argan oil and Nashi Argan Oil are my favorites!

Then I let my hair down self-drying if I have the opportunity, but should I go to bed, I blow-dry it before. The hair does not feel good at all from sleeping with it wet against the pillow. If I blow-dry my hair, I also have heat protection, right now it is LCC The Heat Is On which I use, but usually skip if I can as I do not want to remove the mental feeling of having only natural ingredients in my hair.

I always sleep with my hair the same way, dry and in a braid!

When I wake up in the morning I let my hair out, possibly have more hair oil if I think it is needed, then I brush through it and then I'm done :) My hair extensions from Hair Talk is super nice when it's just wavy from the braid.

And if I'm not fairly freshly showered, I use dry shampoo on the scalp to get rid of the greasy feeling and also get a little more volume. My favorites are LCC Good To Go and Bangerhead Fresh me Up, but I still do not know which one I like most of them but drive a little different days. LCC is cheaper and I love the scent, but Bangerhead feels better for my sensitive scalp.

Other tips that I think are important:

* Brush gently! Hold the hair while brushing, so there is less risk of tearing the hairs from the scalp (also important to me with hair extensions). Start from the bottom up, it is much easier to remove tangles from the top of the hair if you have already straightened everything in lengths. Do not see this as a quick step you just want to get over on three quick strokes, if you wear your hair you will only get more tangles in the long run.

* Many people skip brushing their hair completely and it is also not good if you want well-groomed hair, the tufts should be removed immediately if it should not tear the hair.

* Use hair care products that are tailored to your hair type, then you will see the best results. I use for treated hair as I bleach it.

* Use tassels without metal buckles, the metal wears on the hair!

Is there anything else you are wondering so shout out! :)

    • Accidentally click send before I was done;). But anyway, it is important to take care of it, especially if you want it far. I'll probably take a closer look at it when my current shampoo and conditioner is finished. Thanks for the tip :)

  1. I have also been looking like crazy in the hair care jungle, and have finally found the shampoo and conditioner that works great on me! I use Tigi Bed Head Urban Recovery.2. Even my hairdresser reacted to how healthy and full my hair had become! =) Tested a few other brands after that, but now I have returned to the favorite as it works absolutely best on my hair! =)
