Makeup is available in many different forms, mineral powders, creams, mousses, liquids, etc.
What you like to use and how to apply it is almost just a matter of taste, but here are some reasons why I like mineral makeup so much:
* They contain few ingredients and therefore have a small allergy risk
* It suits all skin types, even dry and sensitive skin
* It is quick to apply
* You can easily vary the coverage rate by applying more / less
* Many mineral brands are organic
* The result is very durable even for people with oily skin
* Not chemically produced and does not contain perfumes and things that can irritate the skin
* Natural sun protection
* Anti-inflammatory without drying out the skin
* Bacteria cannot grow in minerals
* Does not contain preservatives
I with base makeup from YAG Mineral.
Things to keep in mind when shopping for mineral makeup:
Not all brands that call themselves mineral makeup are 100% natural minerals. Check the table of contents, the fewer ingredients the better.
Feel free to avoid the topics:
* Bismuth Oxychlrid - Used partly to give luster but also as a filler as it is quite heavy. The content is stated in grams, so a heavier ingredient makes buyers believe that the product contains more. Some with sensitive skin may react to this substance.
Talc - Also gives luster, but can clog pores.
General information about mineral makeup
The reason why brands can differ from each other even though they are 100% natural minerals, is because there are different minerals and different combinations of minerals. YAG Mineral that I use contains Titanium dioxide, Mica, Zinc oxide, Iron oxide, and depending on how they are combined (more or less of any ingredient) you also get different coverage, shades, shimmer, etc.
These are mineral stones that are crushed and turned into make-up!
Hope you got a little wiser :)

Hi, thought to check if you know if you can mix bleach color with eg conditioner? Or wet the hair before putting it in. It always says you should use color on dry hair, I have such thick hair, so it does not get evenly distributed. You know?
Oops, I have no idea actually, I probably would have bought more packaging to be able to get it evenly distributed instead, it's easier if you do not have to skimp on the product. But ask a hairdresser if you are unsure, or email the hair color customer service!
I like mineral makeup BUT I can not keep it, despite dry skin! It does not seem to matter how I lubricate before or what technology I use, so it just runs off! Have tested Bare Minerals, TiKei & former Nudh and get the same results from almost everyone. Bare Minerals (which unfortunately contains bismuth) is best. Glo Minerals Luxe liquid foundation can in some strange way not be applied nicely either! Help! The only foundation that sits all day without primer, is Kanebo's fluid finish, but I prefer "natural" makeup. Maybe I have the wrong skin !?
On dry skin, foundation may have a tendency to drop during the day. Moisturize the skin a lot before applying make-up, finish with a moisturizing spray over the face, moisturize the skin again during the day (with the spray) so that you keep the skin moisturized. A moisturizing face primer may also be recommended. Hope my tips were helpful! :)
