Helene works mainly with Carboxy treatments (a carbon dioxide treatment you can read more about here!) but she also does more treatments such as waxing, reflexology and the treatment that I will show you today - lymph drainage with electrodes!
When I heard "lymph drainage" for the first time, I thought it sounded very strange, but as soon as Helene explained everything to me, it does not sound at all strange anymore :) And it was actually one of her regular customers on this treatment that really got me curious about this because she was sooo happy with it and has done it several times. âI feel so light afterwards and my stomach gets completely flat!She said. She was about my size so I immediately booked an appointment to test this myself too :)

Why do lymph drainage with electrodes?
Lymphatic drainage is actually a common treatment but is usually done with the help of massage where you massage with movements towards the lymphatic stations. Surely many of you have heard of it? The difference is that Helene does this with electrodes to not solely cleanse the body but also reduce fat and cellulite. It's like a mixture of lymph drainage and Electrolipolysis treatment.
The local metabolism increases, fluid accumulations are drained and the lymphatic system is "purified". We all feel good about this, regardless of body size.
How does the treatment work?
1. The electrodes are attached to the abdomen and thighs, the exact location is individual and this is what Helene sees.
2. The device is switched on and you feel that it is a little tingling where the electrodes are located.
After a while the device sounds and it means that it "changes setting", in the end it tingled more strongly and in one place on the thigh it was a little stinging feeling. But far from hurt, it was not even uncomfortable and I am very sensitive both physically and mentally haha.
4. In total, you lie and chill for 45 minutes and do not have to worry about anything other than taking it easy :)
After the treatment & result
After the treatment, it is common to feel light and the area is more tight. Some people notice a huge difference and that clothes are looser immediately, while some do not have as much fluid accumulation and do not have as clear an effect.
How many treatments do you need?
You can do this as a cure with 1-2 treatments a week, it costs 450 SEK per treatment and if you book 15 treatments you get a 10% discount, which gives the total sum 6075 SEK. However, some people feel a big difference after just one treatment and do this at regular intervals when they themselves feel the need.
How does it work?
Electrodes send current and pulse frequencies into adipose tissue and break down so-called triglycerides into simple fatty acids. The triglycerides cannot penetrate the cell membrane, but the simple fatty acids can pass freely through the cell wall and into the tissue fluid, whereupon the lymph vessels transport them further.
In lymphatic drainage, this process greatly accelerates and streamlines. The electrical flow creates an increased local blood circulation which leads to an increase in the local temperature and an anti-inflammatory reaction.
Summary - Triglycerides are a kind of fats or oils that are found in the body, the electrodes break them down so that they can penetrate the cell membrane, which they otherwise cannot. Then the lymphatic system is cleansed and then these fats are transported away.
What is the lymphatic system?
The lymphatic system consists of lymph vessels and tissue, the vessels expand as a network in the body and collect fluid that is not taken up by the blood vessels. The lymph consists of excess fluid that is present between the cells and during a day 1-4 liters of lymph are formed!
My result
I did not notice any direct difference after a treatment, slightly on the top of the thighs just below the panty line think I which I did not expect. But it's hard to know if it's a placebo or not I think, but I did not feel as light as the customer I talked to before felt.
But not everyone has much to drain either, and you do not know that until you test!
In any case, you feel good about this cleansing, so if you want to test and do not get visible results, it is still not unnecessary. Especially not when it is an affordable treatment, some can probably pay 450: - just to be able to lie in that quiet room and be at peace for a while haha :)
