This has been a more eventful week than the last ones when I was either sick or glazed a lot in the sun. Sounds like a terrible entrepreneur haha. Everything important has been done anyway :)
This week it has been full speed though!
Hillside Media and Peragenda.se
Miska builds websites on the side of (you can contact him at hillside.media if you need help!) and he not only builds the website but is also a consultant on marketing and social media etc. if you need it. The last job he did was for Peragenda and it's done now! On Peragenda.se do you see the website that Miska built and pictures photographed by me!
This is what it looks like right when you enter the page :)
I have photographed all the pictures except the one that is under "lecture", however I I edited it so that it will fit a little more into the theme.
When the days go by too fast
Between Wednesday-Friday I would hardly be home at all so I did all the "admin computer work" on Monday and Tuesday instead (including a lot with Peragenda's website) so on Monday I did not have time to put on make-up at all and on Tuesday I did it after all the computer work which was in the evening instead.
What do you not do for blog material for you;)
Feels completely normal to do a party makeup at 21 on a Tuesday to wash it off immediately afterwards and then go to bed haha.
Work with permanent makeup on Åland
On Wednesday we had a job booked on Åland! Annika's baby Mileya is over three months now and Annika will already start working a little. She usually goes to Åland from time to time and does permanent makeup at the salon Angela's Beauty Base and the Ålanders were lucky to get their first thing now after the maternity leave because we would also buy a treatment bed from there. Two flies :)
So on Wednesday we took a car and trailer on the boat to Åland for two working days there!
Miska and I took care of Mileya in the meantime :) Annika pumped milk so we could feed with a bottle, but she did not get out enough at once so we had to come for refills between customers. But it went well!
The first time Miska and I had lunch alone with a baby! Annika's pram really fit in well with the decor here :)
I also managed to do a bit of computer work, but there are not many gaps you get when you take care of a child! :)
Hokuspokus stone for the career and get advice from angels!
The shop opposite the salon on Åland sold crystals and tarot cards. When we were waiting for Annika to finish with her customer, I strolled in there and was attached to a yellow crystal stone! I had no plans at all to buy something like that but just peeked for fun, I think hocus pocus is great fun if other do it but have never been interested in doing it yourself. But then suddenly I stood with this yellow and white stone and felt "I have to have this" and also left with an angel card game!
What happens :)
This stone is sometimes called the "success stone" and brings success, optimism and confidence. A happy and positive stone then! Right now the stone is on my to-do list :) Mainly I think it will contribute to my career, after a tough autumn and then a quiet rest period, I think I will get speed under my feet again and then need a little push. The stone is said to stimulate our brain and provide increased motivation, creativity and ability to concentrate.
It should also be good for helping with changes and counteracting negative energies, it turns bad energies into positive ones and is good when you have had a lot of negative energy and conflicts around you. Simply cleansing, nice!
The angel card game went on in the evening when Miska and I tried to predict each other. I wanted to get advice about my life situation right now, meaning that I currently take everything as it comes and do not push my career forward as I usually do. I have a break where I only work with what I already have, is that right?
The first sentence on my card (there is a guidebook) was "This card comes to you with validation that you are on the right path”. Among other things, it also said "Be in the present moment and do not allow yourself to worry about the future"And"Avoid compromising or watering down your projects to fit your imaginings about what customers want”.
Felt in the middle of nowhere! Last Friday night I sat alone and drew another card and then did not make any specific thoughts but thought about what advice my mother would like to give me in general. Out of 44 cards, I got the exact same card again !! It must be a sign, right?
Life goal inspiration
On the second Åland Day, Annika had customers only at 13.00, so after breakfast Miska and I hung out at the hotel's indoor pool and my life-goal dream got a real boost!
We were completely alone there and Miska sat next to the pool and practiced Spanish while I swam for 40 minutes to meditation music. I could have swum for any length of time if I had not had to think about the clock, did not want to get up!
You who have followed my Sunday posts for a while know that my big concrete life goal is to live in a house with an indoor pool, that has been the case since I was little and we swam lengths in sports at school.
Annika and I swim about once a week now and I really like it in addition to having to go to a swimming pool and also be crowded with people in the swimming pool. It takes away the whole charm!
After this wonderful moment, I have now honed my dream-morning routine which I currently imagine will be in a house in the mountains of southern Spain:
Wake up early, wrap myself in a cozy bathrobe, choose the outfit of the day and prepare the coffee maker with timer.
Turn on cozy music by the pool, I want large windows or glass wall so you get a lot of daylight as well. Then I swim completely without counting lengths or having a set time, I just swim and am in the present. Will be another half hour. Maybe planning the day, maybe thinking of new ideas or I'm not thinking of anything at all. Just as I feel for right then!
Next to the pool I have a shower room, an infrared sauna and a cozy sitting area. I then put on a face mask and sit in the sauna for 10 minutes, infrared sauna is very useful and goes in a few minutes to warm up! The days I wash my hair, of course I have hair wrap in the sauna as well.
Then I shower off with a shower cream that smells really good and then go to the dressing corner where I have a beauty corner with mirror, skin care and makeup. I lubricate my whole body, apply a light make-up and a bright lip color (do you think I might not take step-by-step make-up still then?) Then I let go of my hair and put on the outfit of the day that is ready.
Then Miska has woken up and is sitting with coffee and breakfast, we have many cozy seats in our home depending on the weather and mood so it will always be just as exciting to see where Miska has served breakfast right today. Will it be on our sunny terrace, the cozy corner with poufs or in the large bright kitchen?
Then the working day starts after about 2 hours of morning routine (?) But since I got up early, the day has still just started!
Here I swim and visualized how my beauty products would look good in the shower room outside the sauna in my future dream home haha ♥ Dreams are important!
Makeup job & salon fix
Last Friday we had a full day in town! We were going to fix the last thing in the extra room, but due to miscommunication regarding keys, we did not get in there until the afternoon, so Miska and I sat and worked in a café for a few hours instead. Not quite a shame either!
Here I am, updating Creative Makeup's Instagram while waiting for my photos to be uploaded to my computer. Saved seconds etc;)
Then I had a fun assignment at the salon when one of my most loyal regulars on lashes and eyebrows had also booked a make-up consultation! How fun!!
I had never seen her in makeup before so it was unusual even for me actually haha, there is a difference between makeup people you have never met before and people you know. People you have never met come as a blank sheet and then you only look with the artist's eye as well!
You will see before and after pictures next week! She was very happy and when I went through all the products at the end of the consultation, she was silent for a few seconds and said "I just can not stop looking in the mirror" ♥ So go!
I took the opportunity to fill in the make-up corner at home as well and take beauty guide make-up with these products! In the old room I worked on site every day and took care of orders etc. so then I always took what I needed to my photo studio without thinking so much, but in the new salon it is the colleagues who fix everything so suddenly it felt like that I walked around and snatched haha!
Then finally Annika and Mileya came with a key so we could fix it in the extra room too! It was a long day.
Next week, Annika will start working two short shifts a week, so then we will be at the salon again!
But first a free Sunday in the sun :)
Hugs are! ♥
