My business week - Meditation & Healing

This weekend I am full of fix in the new and old premises, we are taking care of now because we have closed on Sundays because we can not drill and mess when there are customers here.

So I write this post in advance, because since next week is half a week (due to holidays on Wednesday woop, woop!) I thought I would merge them into the same "business week" so you can read about 1.5 weeks at once next Sunday instead :)

I thought instead of dedicating this post to a new topic - meditation and healing!

    Imbalance in his neck chakra
I have always seen myself as a person who meditates in everyday life and therefore does not need "real meditation". More and more I have realized that this is not true. You know that I have problems with fever and throat infections all the time (this week again, sigh) and by chance when I googled I saw that I may have an imbalance in my throat chakra.

    Do you believe in that?

I'm pretty "fluffy" and believe in a lot, but I really don't see it as a flume but as a science that has not been proven (or publicly) yet. There are no companies that benefit from people being able to heal themselves with thinking power.

Stand up for yourself - Imbalance in the neck chakra can be due to several things, but a common reason is that you do not stand up for yourself, which was very apt for me. If you want to say one thing but do not, that energy can get stuck in the throat and create an imbalance that can lead to throat infections, hoarseness, etc. In my case, this happened because the other party did not want to communicate even though I asked for it, which led to me could never explain me, defend me or stand up for myself and my opinions. When you do not communicate, it creates a thousand unnecessary misunderstandings and non-problems. Instead, you begin to analyze the other person's behaviors and create your own fabricated truths about why a person does as they do, because you do not have the whole picture. I felt incredibly depressed, misunderstood and simply trampled on and walked around all the time with a feeling that I was forced to be dumb.

My throat problems started exactly the period when I started being treated like this, it feels weird if it was just a coincidence?

I first thought that I felt bad just because I did not like the situation I was in. It was only when I realized the feeling of relief from standing up for myself (if even a little) that I realized that the shoe was squeezing even there. When I said the words ”now I have given and given and given and just tried to do the right thing all the time for your sake, but now I take no shit anymore!”I immediately felt several kilos lighter both mentally and physically. Then I realized that the problem was not only in the physical situation but that I had not been nice to myself who had let me be trampled on.

Care - Grief can also get stuck in the throat and create imbalance. Now I may sound quirky (?) But I also think it's a small lump of grief in my throat that did not come out properly when three of my cats died in a short time. When my mother passed away, it was socially accepted to be sad for several weeks in a row, even though I still feel sad every day, it is at least processed grief. Now I do not compare my mother with a cat but when a cat dies you have to cry for a while but then you have to go to work the same day and get over it in a week. But for me, it was really an emotional trauma that must have stuck in my throat.

Focus is more important than intelligence
Another important reason to meditate is to learn to relax. We work a lot with Tommy from Peragenda.se and when he said that "focus is more important than intelligence", I felt he put his head on the nail. He talks a lot about how distracted you get today with a phone that flashes with new notices, emails that pop up and you are constantly connected. Then you really do not become efficient and above all, I do not think it is particularly useful.

I do not remember who but it was a lecturer who was a guest in the Success Podcast who said that the best trick of success is to sit on a chair and just sit. For example. a quarter in the middle of the working day. The point was that when you are in "production mode" you do not get thoughts that are important to process during the day, e.g. problem solutions etc. For these thoughts come when we are relaxed and if we do not take a relaxed sit-on-a-chair moment in the middle of the day, when do the thoughts come then? When we go to sleep of course! How many people do not start thinking about such things just when they go to sleep? It is quite logical when you think about it.

I tried to meditate one evening a week after a working day that was not very busy really but it required some planning and there was a lot to keep track of. And it was scary how hard I had to relax, despite meditation music in my ears, I lay comfortably in bed and really tried. But my brain suddenly started thinking of something completely different until I actually gave up completely, put on an episode of Friends and fell asleep to Chandler's jokes that I heard a thousand times and still laugh at.

The most difficult thing is not to be ambitious and work hard for many hours, the difficult thing is to work unfocused and efficiently and then be able to relax when you are done.

    Healing & meditation
I would really like to go on professional healing but first I will meditate a little alone. I think I get more out of a healing if I have gained some experience myself first. Teach me to relax myself.

The first thing I did was apply a lot of self-healing and clear my neck chakra and tested this right away, but quickly realized that I need to start on step one - learn to be relaxed first.

Now I have meditated a few times and can already start to include some healing tricks in the meditation. Nice when you make progress fast! Last Friday I meditated for 43 minutes and even though it was not a monk-mindfullness right away, it still felt like it was a fairly successful meditation.

An aid I have started with (borrowed from Annika) is Muse Meditation, a headband that measures brain activity and is connected to an app with different sounds that you can choose. The purpose is to learn to relax quickly, how do I get relaxed? You can choose different weather to listen to, e.g. a beach by the sea. If you are stressed / up in laps, it is like a storm and big waves, but when you become relaxed it becomes a calmer noise, the sound of rocking water and if you are really relaxed you will also hear birds chirping. I have never had any birds and Miska got 7 the first time he tested haha.

It will be both a rewarding behavior at the same time as you get confirmed when you do the right thing.

This is how I sit and meditate, sometimes I'm up in the attic though. The headband, headphones and sleeping mask for the eyes because I want it completely dark.

If any of you have experience of healing and above all neck chakra, you are very welcome to write tips to me! I devour everything! Now there will be an end to fever and throat infections !! :)

    Have a nice Sunday everyone!

    Hugs are ♥

    1. My mother does a lot of things like chakra, etc., so it's a little fun that you write about your thoughts, I think! :)
