Sometimes you do not want your lips to protrude so much in the make-up, at the same time as you want them to look better than unmade-up.
My tip then is to choose a lipstick in a color similar to your natural lip color! Then your lips will not get any attention while they are very nice.
These lipstick colors are often such shades that can look a bit dull before they are applied, because they are very soft and "unobtrusive". But on the lips it will be incredibly beautiful!
An example of such shades is these three lipsticks from Lumene Wild Rose Lipstick. Classic soft tones that you can choose depending on how light and dark lips you have.
I have quite dark lips but am generally very light, and for me it fits 17 Iceberry perfect. 13 Heathers fits darker lips e.g. for you with exotic skin tone, while 15 Clouds suits you who have lighter lips than I have naturally!
