I have actually never tested eyelash extensions myself, so you can strangle me after this post if you want;)
We get a lot of inquiries if we do eyelash extensions at the salon, but the answer is no and even though we get a lot of requests, the answer will be no. If no difference in quality etc. is made, everything develops all the time!
The reason is that we see so many customers who have done this, and therefore we have slowly but surely become a little against this with eyelash extensions haha. I know that many people love it and are "dependent" on it, and that it is also about who you go to, there are those who do it well and those who do it less well. But here are the reasons why I do not want to test this:
- Expensive - It costs approximately between 500-1500 kronor (depending on where you go and if you do it once or refill) and it only lasts for about 3 weeks. And when some straws have disappeared, it often does not look good either. I understand that it is expensive, in my opinion it is even cheap if you look at all the work the person puts in, it takes about two hours to do the extension and you have to be so noga. But as a customer, you get quite a bit for your money.
- Sensitive - The lashes are glued directly to your natural lashes, and are very sensitive and often harder than your natural lashes. That's why you have to be so extremely careful with your lashes, because when a fake straw smokes, so does your natural lash. It says everywhere that eyelash extensions do not wear on the lashes, but I hear so Many people say that the extension has ruined their natural lashes.
- Unhygienic - And because you have to be so careful, not use cleaning with oil, and barely touch them, I often see people with extensions who have not done properly, who have small "sleep gravel lumps" along the scalp of the lashes. Ugh and fy and hello eye inflammation :)
And of course I do not say that everyone experiences these negative effects, it obviously depends on who does the job, and how to take care of the lashes and the cleaning. But you get a little discouraged when you see and hear many who have these problems.
What can you do instead?
Instead, I think that color and permanent (permanent bending that makes the lashes are bent upwards all the time) is much better! You can see my result in the pictures above. When the lashes are curved, they look much longer even without mascara, and you often get a better result with the mascara even when they already have a nice bend.
Most people who do this treatment regularly do permanent and staining every 10 weeks, and only staining every 5 weeks.
If you also want them longer, you can either use the fiber mascara Magnetic Lash which builds up the length of the straws, or use BeautyLash - an eyelash serum that makes the eyelashes grow!
I have used BeautyLash for 2 weeks now and am already starting to notice a little difference, but in 4-6 more weeks you will see before and after pictures :) But they are already available to buy as I have met so many customers who are regulars on the industry and get incomparably good results. Annika has sold it at the salon before, and used it herself for several years, and she uses nothing but lash nourishment, lash coloring and eyelash permanent, and when you tell people that she is unmade up, they always answer "but does she have mascara? ” but she never has! Will take a picture and show you some day :)

I have done single lashes with luxury lashes recently and I feel very happy. Feels really nice in the lashes (looks natural) and not to mention how much time I save in the morning ;-) But became worried after reading what you wrote about that you met so many who say that they wear a lot and takes a long time to recover: - /… otherwise I have to try BeautyLash. Exciting to see before and after pictures of your lashes when you have been running this for a while. :-)

I think there is a huge difference between classic lashes and volume lashes. I have had both and do not like the classic ones at all as they look like "spider legs" and are very thick and hard. Volume lashes give a softer and denser look plus each lash is thin and light, feel no discomfort from them at all. Yes, it is very expensive but that is probably the only negative I can say about volumisar :)
I was a bit tempted to try as I know several who have been very happy but I backed down for two reasons:
1) people who had to wait a long time for their own lashes to recover after they thought they were done with it
2) to have glue so close to the eyes. I am personally very sensitive and usually get redness and blisters only from both regular and "sensitive" patches, feels a bit risky if you are such a person (now not everyone is, of course).
It absolutely depends entirely on where you make them. After testing many different practitioners, I have found one that is super. It's nice for 3-4 weeks at least and they fit much better than those where I've done it before (and then they are still ones that are known to be good). She I do the ones with now are faster and cheaper than the others, I go there for an hour every 3-4 weeks and am super happy. Always have nice lashes and make-up takes 5 minutes in the morning. I think her trick is better glue and thinner and more lashes - then you avoid the ugly gaps you can get otherwise when they start to come loose. Have many but thin lashes and they have not been sparse or negatively affected yet anyway and then I have done it for almost a year. Hug!
