Old Town Lodge

This may not be part of the beauty theme in my blog, but since many beauty events and the like take place in Stockholm, I still want to tell you about a cheap hotel in the Old Town that is the perfect sleep-over hotel if you want to stay close to the "batter" but still cozy!

It is Old Town Lodge which I slept on last Thursday between the Swedish Beauty & Cosmetics Awards and Yves Rocher's press breakfast which was on Friday. A small room with bathroom outside, and a smaller breakfast buffet was included in the price (the price which was significantly less are the other hotels that were in Stockholm that day)

The building is, if I understood correctly, built in the 13th century, and the old city wall went straight through my room! Awesome, while I myself thought it was a bit scary at first and slept with the lamp on, but there were absolutely no unpleasant feelings when I would sleep later :)

Superb service, walking distance to the Old Town subway, and very nice beds!

beauty weekend-in-sthlmA small clip of what my wonderful weekend has consisted of!

When I got home yesterday, I was first surprised that Miska made me a 3-course dinner, nicest guy! Soup, beef fillet and then chocolate muffins with ice cream, strawberries and meringues. Mums!

Then I called my mother, who told me that she was furnishing and arranging in my make-up room / storage room that I will have there during the summer when Miska's apartment is too hot (and too small). Wonderful people I have around me! :)

Now it's Monday and back to reality, but I have a huge goodie bag with products to test so it will be a really fun work day in front of the makeup mirror anyway!

Hugs are! ♥
