Natural make-up for sensitive skin (Product list)

Last Saturday I had a make-up consultation with a girl who wanted to see an everyday makeup with a focus on the base. She has very sensitive skin that needs mild products and good coverage / neutralization for red areas.

When we went through contouring, we started talking about changing the face with it, which resulted in me also showing how to make the nose narrower. It made a very big difference too :)

Here is the result:

BASE
We started with a face primer that is depressing and fills pores, but is suitable for dry skin. I just chose it because she is dry but also gets a little shiny during the day. Then we added a semi-opaque foundation gel that evens out the skin tone and becomes natural and durable on the skin.

Then we neutralized red areas with Redness Relief Powder which is super effective on redness! And put an enlightening concealer under the eyes and fixed with powder.

The contouring was done with both a dark shade, a light shade and a luster highlighter. Finished with a lively blush shade on the cheeks and fixing mist.

EYEBROW
I have filled in the eyebrows with a brow pencil in a fairly light tone. I laid wider at the bottom edge on the inside of the brows, and right on the top in the middle of the brows. It lifted her otherwise slightly straight brow shape so that the brows become more shaped. Finished with bryngel.

EYES
On the eyes we did a make-up that brightens up the gaze and opens the eyes, with light inside the eye and darker all around to enlarge the gaze. We finished with a lashliner / lash marking that marks the lash line and raises the eyes but is so thin that it does not take up any space of the eyelid, as well as mascara.

A natural lipstick that is matte and marks her lip contours and highlights the lips without sticking out or taking focus.

What is an everyday make-up is always a question of definition, I do all these steps every time I put on make-up, but if you are used to just mascara and barely foundation in normal cases, such a natural make-up will also be a party make-up in comparison.

But with natural make-up like this, you can clearly see how little can do a lot, there is no product that "stands out" or that makes a huge difference, but it is all together that makes the big difference.

Today's make-up is a quick eye make-up that is suitable for both everyday and parties, and with the dark red lips, the make-up even feels a bit glamorous!

I did the eye make-up easily by applying a gray eyedust on the entire eye shadow and then dabbing on a golden eyedust over it for a more glowing effect. Gray eyeliner on it and then mascara on just the upper lashes so I got a nice frame and lifted the eye.

I apologize for being a bit halfway through the update lately, both here on the blog and on instagram.

This is partly because it has been an incredible amount at the salon, but also because I also have a few hours less than usual there because in February I am a substitute at a high school in Uppsala. It is a stylist line and I agree as you probably understand in the makeup lessons :)

It's only Thursdays and Fridays, but in any case it means that the rest of the work week is completely out of balance and I only have time to do what is most urgent all the time, it feels like.

Anyway, today I showed the students how I do a whole makeup from start to finish and how important it is to get good base details for the whole to look good. And by the base I mean not only the skin but also an even contouring, well-shaped eyebrows, lashliner, etc. Things that are important to know as a makeup artist and that are great to get feedback on.

And a little fitting to today's theme, today I had a make-up with only lashliner and mascara on the eyes, marked lips and well-shaped eyebrows. Simple but nice and details that must look good for the rest to be nice.

Hope you like this simple look too :)

BASE
The base is fast and comprehensive with first cream concealer and then mineral foundation. After that a light contouring and both a matte highlighter to sculpt and one with luster to give glow.

EYEBROW
Surely I got to the brows nicely today? It is both with a brow pencil and with fibers that you brush on the straws, it is a news from Maybelline that I will blog about asap! So cool!

EYES
Lashliner is such a good make-up detail for all make-ups! Read more about how to do it in my previous beauty guide :) It is good when you are "unmade up" and want to look fitter, for mascara to make the lashes look fuller, instead of eyeliner - perfect for people with droopy eyes and hooded eyes, and people with short lashes. If you have a wide eyeliner, the lashes look shorter. Or with eyeliner to get the eyeliner more intense, otherwise there can easily be spaces between the lashes and the eyeliner, where the skin shines through.

Then I finished with mascara and a little light eye shadow in the corner of the eye.

LIPS
Sharp lip contours with lip pencil and a really glossy lipstick in a bright color on it, yummy! I have painted about a mile outside the lips and love it, not mainly because they look bigger but because I get more of this nice lipstick :)

Last Saturday I had a really great make-up consultation at the salon! She wanted to start dressing up a little more before work but basically only used mascara in normal cases and has never plucked her eyebrows or had any type of foundation.

It is always a bit double when you have to make up a person who is so above with beauty products, just going from unpicked eyebrows for 50 years to a well-shaped shape can make some customers fall off the chair haha. But they are also the funniest people, because with small simple tricks you can make such a big difference and they are always so happy!

A make-up consultation is a make-up course of 1.5 hours where you get make-up and learn how to do it yourself at home. And that includes products for the entire sum, SEK 895.

So fine!

BASE
We started with a face primer that is smoothing and filling in pores. Only it made a big difference on the skin and can be used completely alone as well. Then we added a semi-opaque foundation gel that evens out the skin tone and becomes natural and durable on the skin. Both products can be applied with the fingers and are a quick and easy everyday base.

We did a simple contouring with a cold bronze powder and blush on the cheeks for a little more color and shape.

EYEBROW
The biggest difference was the eyebrow plucking that she had booked before the make-up consultation, the fastest facelift just that :) We have only filled in a little with a pencil, mainly on the underside for a sharper base and a little extra outer edges, then finished with a fringe.

EYES
On the eyes we did a make-up that brightens up the look and opens the eyes, at the same time as it is very natural. We lit up the eyelid and the corner of the eye, and added a darker shade over the globe line (it is important that the fade ends up above the globe line so that the gaze is raised when looking straight ahead). And a lashliner / lash marking that marks the lash line and raises the eyes but is so thin that it does not take up any space off the eyelid.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and like this on the evening twig before, I thought I would offer some inspiration :) ♥

The Valentine's Day make-up as I showed you last week is a look that quite clearly fits the theme. But if you do not want to match all hearts and kisses everywhere but just want the perfect make-up for a date or date - then here are some tips!

Sometimes you talk to a person who has that kind of make-up that you just can not stop looking at, it is something that makes the look so interesting that you just want to look the person in the eyes all the time haha. And it's not because it's the worst work of art, a crazy color combination or a perfect fading that only make-up geeks like me get caught up in - no, usually it's a small detail somewhere that catches the eye.

It can be a small color click with eye shadow that is only visible when you blink. A little glitter in the corner of the eye. Colorful mascara on just the lower lashes, a colorful eyeliner or another fun detail that enlivens the look :)

Today's make-up is a super fast such make-up with brown eyeliner with wing and a turquoise color click! Hope you like it ♥
