It has been such a cold period the last week that I was completely set on it being autumn now, but many people actually still have holidays and now summer is starting to come back again! :)

So do not start autumn-cleaning the necessities properly yet, you still need high spf in the products and makeup that highlights the tan, we will be able to enjoy for sure at least two more months!

And just in time for the summer heat to return, I thought I would show you a fun press release from Oriflame that I received in the middle of the summer:

I have tested the products and done a light base make-up with some of them to show you the results:

A summer kit that contains:

Spf 30 for the face - NovAge Oriflame Day Shield spf 30 is a day cream with spf 30 in Oriflame's anti-age series NovAge. Really good! Immerses quickly in the skin and feels very moisturizing.

Bronze Color - Oriflame Bronzing Pearls (Natural Radiance) which is a bronzer in the shape of small balls that gives both a nice color and a nice luster. Perfect for highlighting the burn! Easy to apply and you get a lot of color instantly, and the tone is incredibly nice I think.

Loose powder - Oriflame Loose Powder (Translucent) which is a degrading and transparent loose powder. Perfect for us who get extra oily and shiny during the summer. Works great to matte the skin with during the day as well.

Colored brown jelly - Oriflame Brow Gel which keeps the straws in place and also gives them a nice color. Quick and easy when you want a little extra marked eyebrows without having to stand and fill in the shape. Really good!

Mascara - Oriflame 5-1 WonderLash Mascara which is a good mascara when you want a natural look with separated lashes, as the brush is narrow and works as a comb that combs the lashes nicely. I personally like it precisely because it is so easy to use and gives quickly separated and fine lashes.

Coral colored lipstick – Oriflame Iconic Matte Lipstick (Orange Coral). Coral is one of the finest colors in summer, I think, a really summery color that also highlights the tan nicely.

Lip gloss with spf 12 - Oriflame Rejuvenating Lip Balm (Pink) then even the lips need sun protection! This is a lip balm in lip gloss form that also has a sun protection factor of 12. Apply a lot for a high-gloss result, or a little for a weak, light color and soft lips. Pretty strong scent but other than that it gets two thumbs up from me.

My first favorite is Oriflames spf 30 for the face that gets two thumbs up from me! It can be difficult to find sunscreen with a high sun protection factor that still sinks into the skin quickly so you can put on make-up immediately afterwards, but you can with this :) Would have liked to have seen that it was spf 50 and not 30, but beyond that it really gets two thumbs up!

My other favorite among these press samples is the lip balm which also has spf, and just like on the day cream, I would have liked to have seen higher than spf 12, but still really nice with sunscreen in its lip gloss! You get a nice color on the lips and the gloss feels soft and caring. I have quite a lot of shine in these pictures but it is nice to just add a super thin layer as well to mostly get a caring and soft feeling.

The scent is quite strong though, which I personally do not prefer, but it is a matter of taste.

Surely I look more summer fresh and tan in the afterimage? :)

Otherwise, I really like these products! The ones I have used for this base make-up are, in addition to the day cream and lip balm that I mentioned above, also Bronzing pearls, Loose powder and Eye brow gel. The result is a matte make-up with luster (luster where bronzer has been applied), an extra tan tone, discreetly highlighted eyebrows and a light pink fresh color on the lips.

A perfect base that is nice this summer, I think! :) ♥
