New look - Botanicals Clay Mask

Botanicals has developed its look on the incredibly popular clay masks "Balancing mask" and "Revitalizing mask" but the content is exactly the same awesome face mask :)

The packaging is still a small sweet jar just like before, but a little changed and above all the mask for impure skin is a different color, which we who work with the masks think is extremely good! Before, they were so similar that it was difficult to separate them when unpacking orders, etc. But now it is clear which is which!

In addition, Balancing mask is now called "Balancing Detox Mask" instead, which in my opinion is also a more appropriate name, it really detoxifies the skin and removes dirt and impurities very effectively.

This is what the jars look like now:

Fina va? Pretty much the same as before, but a little better :)

They have also received the nice logo on the can lid, which has previously been all black.

Botanicals Clay Mask are both clay masks for the face that are 100% natural and 70% organic. In addition to clay, they include caring oils, shea butter and vitamin E. They are both moisturizing, emollient and above all cleansing for the skin.

Clay has many positive properties for the skin:

Green clay has enormous absorbent properties, it is often said that it literally "drinks" toxins, bacteria and impurities from the skin and is a real detox treatment. It absorbs fat and impurities, astringent effect on pores, detoxifies, is rich in minerals, reduces inflammation, balances sebum production, pH-balancing, evens out skin tone and gives the skin a fresh glow. It is simply made for a skin that has problems with oiliness and pimples! The green clay in Botanical's masks comes from Sicily.

French roslera is a mild kaolin clay (sometimes called pink kaolin or pink clay) that detoxifies the skin, exfoliates (removes dead skin cells), reduces redness and inflammation and irritation, astringent effect on pores, pH balancing, increases blood circulation, increases collagen production, helps cell renewal, reduces pigment spots, gives the skin a nice glow. It does not draw oil from the skin and is perfect for dry, sensitive and above all mature skin.

Pure clay can be a little dehydrating for the skin, especially green clay which is usually not recommended for dry skin. But these face masks contain so incredibly moisturizing and caring ingredients that none of the masks are dehydrating. So even the face mask with green clay for oily and impure skin can be used even if you e.g. is dry but has a lot of problems with unclean pores.

Botanicals Revitalizing Mask is a face mask adapted for tired, dry, sensitive and mature skin.

In addition to rosera, the mask also contains:
Rosolja - Moisturizes and repairs the skin and is often used in skin care for mature skin.
Jojoba oil - Is very moisturizing and nourishing.
Camellia oil - Reduces fine lines, makes stretch marks less visible and strengthens the skin.
Shea butter - Soothes irritated skin and speeds up the healing process.

Botanicals Balancing Detox Mask is a face mask adapted for oily and impure skin that easily gets acne. The skin becomes clean, clear and incredibly soft and smooth!

In addition to green clay, the mask contains, among other things:
Avocado oil -Mild and moisturizes and protects the skin, and also suits sensitive skin.
Jojoba oil - Soothing and often used in skin care for oily skin, as it balances sebum production.
Marigold - Soothes irritated skin.
Lemongrass and mandarin - Gets the skin in balance.

You literally SEE how it is sucked out of the pores thanks to the green clay!

I get this visible only around the nose and a dot here and there on the face, but you feel on the skin after regular use that it is cleaner all over the face so it works even in areas where it is not so much that it looks great.

I'm a period person with how good I am at taking care of my skin, and now this summer I've been crazy bad and a few weeks ago when I ran the face mask for the first time in a long time it was almost like a white cream on my nose:

Took a print screen on the movie I posted on my story on Snapchat that night, crazy nose!

But now I have run with the mask 2 times after that + used my cleaning brush from Pulsederm (which I lost the charger to before and not used for about 3 months) and this morning when I used the face mask I barely got a few spots on my nose at all, just a few small ones.

Party make-up by Zahra

Hi fine ni!

I'm so glad you're still peeking in here even though I've not been the most diligent blogger lately ♥

The last few days have been packed, basically everyone at the salon is on holiday now so I am the only one who has taken all the make-up and lash and brow treatments in recent weeks. Which has actually been crazy fun! I do not usually take this much booking in ordinary cases as I have so much work around that needs to be arranged.

But everything around must catch up even now, and only that part is more than usual now before the autumn as well. While the head still does not work as it should after all with mom, and you get tired (read completely finished) much faster too, how can it be so?

Anyway, what I was really going to write now is that I'm incredibly happy that Zahra is coming back from her vacation today, yeey! :) We are not the whole force until September 1st, but from today I will have more and more time for the blog again. Good, is not it? :)

Zahra is a very good makeup artist who also threads and does lash and brow treatments. Here is a party make-up she did for a customer this spring:

Nice, is not it? :)

It was a long time since I took these pictures so I do not remember at all what she used for products, but it is at least makeup from Byher.se.

Hope you have a great start to the new week! ♥

Favorite and Repeat - Pixi Correction Concentrate Concealer

Pixi Correction Concentrate Concealer I have written about it before but I think it is worth recommending again and especially this time of year!

I really love this concealer and it is absolutely perfect these hot summer days when you may not feel like putting on so much make-up! It is a comprehensive, caring and enlightening cream concealer.

It is adapted to both lighten and cover dark circles under the eyes, blemishes and pigment spots - areas that need both coverage and an illuminating effect.

Contains among other things:
Rosehip extract - Improves skin elasticity and has a rejuvenating effect on skin cells.
Vitamin A - Has anti-aging properties.
Vitamin C. - Lightens the skin and "brings it to life".
Vitamin E. - Cares for and protects the skin.

Texture
The texture is creamy and thick, but still light, it blends super well into the skin and gives a natural but opaque result. It becomes so natural and fine and adapts so well to the skin that you can use it even without foundation, without it being visible where you have applied the product, as it often does with many other concealers :)

Color
The concealer has a neutral tone that goes a bit in the pink direction. The shade blends well into the skin tone and has a neutralizing effect on blue areas.

Application
I use a small flat and compact make-up brush to apply, then you get good precision and also you should not put your fingers in the jar so then a brush is great! You can then choose if you want to work with just the brush when applying, or if you, as I usually do - apply with the brush and then spread the paint evenly by dabbing with your fingertip.

You only need a tiny bit of the rough concealer to get full coverage, which is both economical and nicer.

Whether you should apply it before or after foundation depends a bit on what kind of foundation you have. If you use a dry mineral foundation, you should apply the concealer before and if you use a creamy foundation, you can choose yourself, I myself then prefer to apply it after foundation when you see clearly what more needs to be covered.

Results
In just a few seconds, you have covered all the irregularities in the skin tone in an effective and natural way, love, love love! It fits well all day and is great in every way :)

Here are some before and after pictures:

pixicon1 pixicon2 pixicon3

In these pictures I have covered the blisters and a little redness around the nose, and brightened up a little under the eyes. In the rest of my face I am still unmade up in the afterimages :)

Pixi Concealer Concentrate is on Byher.se and costs SEK 199.

Do not hesitate to ask if there is anything you are wondering about! Hug ♥
