Hatch 14 contains another organic and natural gain - the popular spa sponge Konjac Facial Sponge - Red clay, which is a facial sponge with red clay ideal for dry, lifeless and mature skin.

This facial sponge is perfect for cleansing dry and / or mature skin, and removes dead skin cells and impurities. It balances the skin's pH value and has soothing and rejuvenating properties and gives the face a nice glow! The fungus is also good for blood circulation, sun-damaged skin, stretch marks and visible blood vessels.

The fungus contains red French clay which is rich in iron oxide which is known to stimulate blood circulation for a healthy glow. Red French clay cleanses the skin of dead skin cells and speeds up the regeneration process.

The face sponges can be used in different ways, but I usually first wash my face with my cleanser as usual, then I soak the sponge with warm water and wash my face with it. The skin feels incredibly smooth and cleansed afterwards!

Rinse the sponge with cold water and hang so it dries before the next use - then it stays fresh and nice for a very long time. Konjac Sponge themselves say that the sponge lasts for 3 months, but I have taken care of mine well and they are just as nice still and it has been almost a year :)

The facial mushrooms are made from konnyaku - a potato plant from Asia that is rich in water and minerals. It is from these roots that konjac mushrooms are made that have a net-like structure that exfoliates the skin. These natural fungi are organic, and also degradable in nature!

Today's make-up is great when you want a soft and slightly smoky make-up that is something in between everyday and party, perfect for e.g. Christmas dinners and events where you want to be smart without looking like a party party :)

Glitter is always super hard to get in the picture, but this make-up shines nicely (in reality) thanks to Zuii Sparkle Rouge in the shade Mango. Got the idea from my sister who always uses it out of the corner of her eye for a little extra shimmer.

Today's make-up is a very nice New Year's make-up if you want to have pretty bright eyes at the same time as they are highlighted :)

On my lips I actually have a eyeliner from Paese, Automatic Eyeliner Line in the shade Plum Glam. I dabbed on some pink lipstick in the middle only then I only have that pen :) Not as durable as a regular lip pencil because it gets quite dry, but incredibly nice!

These are my favorite products for oily skin! The kit I have put together contains:
♥ Exhausting face primer - Paese Makeup Base Matte
♥ Degreasing powder - Paese Bamboo Silk Powder
♥ Blotting paper that absorbs oil - gloMinerals Blotting Papers

Paese Makeup Base Matte is a face primer adapted for oily and oily skin. A primer that dulls the skin and keeps it dull longer. Also contains a large dose of vitamin E. Apply before applying make-up for a silky and matte complexion that keeps the make-up in place.

Paese Bamboo Silk Powder contains 90% silica (from bamboo) which absorbs excess moisture and oil from the skin. The powder also contains silk powder that moisturizes the skin, makes it look smoother and gives a nice glow! The powder is antibacterial, soothing, healing and regulates the activity of the sebaceous glands. Does not contain talc and does not clog pores. The powder is transparent.

gloMinerals Blotting Papers contains thin sheets of paper made from abaca leaves (banana plant from the Philippines) and soft wood pulp. Tear off a sheet from the booklet and gently press on the skin, focusing on the t-zone. The paper absorbs the oil from the skin without ruining the makeup.

I did a test before where I used this face primer, mineral foundation and bamboo powder on half the face, and liquid foundation with regular powder (from Lumene, which is also good makeup) on the other half. Here you see the result:

I probably do not need to say which of the halves I have my debilitating makeup on? ;)

After 3 hours, I'm still almost completely dull on that side with Paese's primer and powder, and on the other, I'm pretty oily even then. And after 8 hours, the difference is huge! Think what very good makeup can do.

Do this:
1. Apply the face primer all over the face
2. Apply a foundation that is suitable for oily skin, I use mineral foundation or Pixi H2O Skintint which is a water-based gel foundation.
Finish with the Bamboo Powder
4. If you get oily during the day, dab with blotting paper so that you get the oil off your face, then wrap on some bamboo powder again. Thanks to blotting paper, the powder you apply can then absorb the oil that will come, instead of absorbing the oil that you already have on your face. Then you get a very durable result!

I have such an extremely oily skin so I'm not 100% matte on the side with debilitating products either, but there's still a huge difference and it's a thousand times nicer to powder once a day, than every hour!
