Lazy days are the best makeup

1

It is often said that a smile is the best make-up, but I also want to add that lazy days now and then should also be included in that category! The more rested you are, the happier and prettier you become :) So chill with a clear conscience today, you fine!

I did not blog all day yesterday, I have a free weekend every other week and yesterday I was completely free. I was going to blog but the fatigue (and laziness) took over :)

So what did I do yesterday then? Miska went away and bowled so I was alone all day. I went to bed until 12 o'clock, watched a total of five movies (all genre romance) and so little Bachelor on it. And for dinner it was half a liter of ice cream with crushed chocolate!

It may sound to some the world's most boring day, but we what? I enjoyed so much in the north haha! Softies, rag socks, unbrushed hair, lip balm all over the mouth almost up to the nose, and choose movies that have only received one star in the reviews without caring - I have such a bad taste in movies that the bad ones are the very best :)

snapchat

And then I talked to Frida on FaceTime too! She is in Thailand and will be there for 7 weeks = abstinence! She sent this picture to me today haha, a picture she took on the screen yesterday when we talked. In the picture you see my giggle-giggle-laugh haha :)

Now I'll have a late breakfast, maybe in front of a movie today, and then talk to Miska about "cooking a good Sunday dinner" and it will always be just as good when he is in the cooking mood, it will be wonderful!

Hope you all have a fantastic Sunday, maybe peek in with some make-up tips later today and we'll hear from you ♥

Cover pimples without makeup all over the face

Sometimes you do not want to be made up all over your face, but just want to conjure away some stubborn blemishes. But it can be a little tricky to do that, because if you only put make-up on the pimples, it can easily be seen that you have "spots" with make-up, which also does not look so natural.

Because this is the case with pimples, they are not always just red but often quite much darker than the skin tone as well, which means that a concealer should be quite bright - which is not a problem if you use foundation that also evens out the skin tone but on a completely unmade-up face in general, it can be a little difficult to make it look good as it becomes like light spots on the face that do not really match your own skin.

Therefore, I was now going to show you and tell you how I usually put make-up on pimples on Miska, who does not want a whole makeup but just wants to get rid of the blemishes in a natural way.

Here you see the model when all the pimples are covered:

Cover pimples without makeup all over the face

Do you see where the three big Finns have been sitting? :)

The products I used to cover all the pimples:

pimples

I use three products, which can feel a little unnecessary for just a few pimples, so yes it is not something you necessarily have to buy if you always only have to cover a few pimples, but if we also sometimes make up the whole face, these are great products to use av :)

Concealer

Pixi Correction Concentrate is a comprehensive concealer that covers the pimples super well! It is creamy and is also good on pimples that are a little dry. I first use it to cover and lighten the pimple.

Powder

GloMinerals Redness Relief Powder I then dab on the fin, mainly to fix the creamy concealer. A creamy product should be fixed with powder to keep better all day. And the reason why I use gloMinerals Redness Relief Powder is because Miska has a fairly warm skin tone, and the concealer is not yellow enough to match his skin tone. In addition, this powder is perfect if a little redness may shine through the concealer.

Bronzer

The last step is not important for everyone, but on Miska's skin tone the coverage with concealer and powder is a little too light compared to the skin tone so then I dab on a little bronzer just to get the skin tone and coverage at the same degree of darkness :) For that I use Paese Bronzing Powder (1M) which is a matte sun powder in a neutral cold brown tone.

Here you have before and after pictures to cover pimples:

Ellos launches make-up collection

Ellos, as most of you already know, is best known for fashion and interior design, but has also been a retailer of beauty products and makeup for a long time. But now they are not only retailers for other brands anymore but came out last week with their very own beauty collection Beauty By Ellos!

I received a press release on a lot of the new products earlier this week, and they also emailed and said that more are on the way, so I thought I would start by showing some of the makeup I got home :)

I have not had time to test everything super carefully, but you can take part in my first impression! What I fell for first are their five eyeshadow palettes with four shadows in each:

beauty-by-ellos

Three earthy palettes in beige to brown where you can choose whether you want cold, warm or shimmery shades. And a white-black palette for smokey eyes, and one in gloomy purple tones as well. Very useful palettes for most people :)

I have not made up with them but I have tested a little on the hands and they seem rich in pigment and easy to work with. Good to do a sweep with the darkest shade in Smokey Plum today, but think I have done so many such sweets lately so you might want me to vary a bit instead?

Great palettes anyway, and they only cost 99 kroner each!

The lip gloss is available in 12 shades and there are both matte and shimmery colors. They contain argan oil (which I love) and are completely fragrance free as well. They are semi-opaque and give the lips a little color without becoming completely opaque like a lipstick becomes.

On the lips, they feel beautiful, neither sticky nor sticky. I who am very sensitive to creamy textures on the lips and have to use very, very soft lip gloss to not want to dry it, I am not completely 100% on the texture but can not really explain why. It is not sticky, but a bit type, synthetic, can you say that? Do not think that the amount of argan oil is super large in any case, but have not checked that thing :)

But I think many of you will like them, and for the price 49: - I must say that they are affordable and good!

And for a nice frame for the eyes, they have also launched eyeliner pencils in these five colors - check out the green Petroleum Green, so nice!

The pens are very creamy when applied, but are then fixed and become waterproof and durable, and should also sit all day along the waterline. I have not tested this myself yet, but when I was going to wash them off my hand, I felt that they sat very well. It will be exciting to test :)

The pens also cost only SEK 49!

Summary - My first impression of the products is that they are very good, no superwow but at the same time the price is so low that it changes the whole view of the products. If I were to compare these with other products in the same price range, they are probably more wow-level :) But as I said, I have not tested everything to 100% yet, will return with clearer reviews a little later!

Cyclamen Bronze makeup

In the same way that a make-up in the colors of autumn leaves is standard for me to do at least once every autumn, so it is also standard to do a look with the eye shadow Cyclamen Bronze from Yag mineral, the world's finest autumn eyeshadow! :)

I have a very hard time explaining the color, but the cyclamen is a purple-pink flower and bronze is a shimmery brown type, so you could say it is a kind of shimmery purple-brown color!

Here is a very simple make-up with the eyeshadow where I have simply applied it around the entire eye, toned out the edges and then brightened up the corner of the eye and the middle of the eyelid with a white shimmer shadow.

The result is a soft sweep that highlights the look :)

IsaDora Intense Brow Duo Review

I have received a press sample of IsaDora's new eyebrow palette IsaDora Intense Brows Duo Compact Cream Brown Duo (long name, pjuh) and it is a palette with two creamy eyebrow colors that are suitable for people who like highlighted eyebrows :)

IMG_7152_111

Product description:
“When you want to create perfect eyebrows with intense color. IsaDora Intense Brows Duo Compact Cream - Brown, has a creamy formula and is very easy to apply with the included brush. The eyebrow cream fills in bald spots and has a waterproof formula so that it stays on for an extra long time.

IMG_7153_111

In the palette there are two colors, one dark and one a little lighter, and either you can mix them, or use only one, or as I do use the light on the inside of the brows and the dark on the edges :)

IMG_7173_111

Application
The creams are incredibly pigment-rich and you do not need much at all, and it is very easy to work with. You can easily get both super sharp lines or a soft faded color for a soft shading. The cream has a very light and thin texture, which makes it so easy to use.

Results
The result is sharper than e.g. with regular shadow or pencil, especially if you, like me, do not have that much straw because then you need to fill in more. But if you have more of your own straws, you can use less color and get a natural result. But it will be very nice, I think, because you can make a fairly intense filling on the underside and the outer edges, while making a more softened effect on the top and inside, so that the brow does not look too painted.

sustainability
The cream is waterproof and lasts well, it is not completely rub-proof but also holds well for it, you rarely rub your eyebrows very much :)

Comparison
When you talk about filling in the eyebrows with a cream product like this, you can not help but compare with Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade, IsaDora has certainly been inspired by that product too, I can think. And the big difference, apart from the price, is that IsaDoras is thinner in consistency and feels a little more like a gel. I like Anastasias a little more as it feels more durable and durable and also gives a more natural result if desired, but this is definitely a good budget variant if you like the principle.

Award
On for example Lyko.se is available to buy for SEK 129 :)

Here's how I fill in the brows with IsaDora Intense Brow Duo:

isadora-bryn

  1. Unmade-up eyebrow in addition to an eyebrow tattoo that is basically fading.
  2. Fill in the lower edge of the brow, here it can be quite sharp without the whole being too painted, it is on the top and inner edge that you should be a little careful. I use a different slanted brush than the one included in the palette, IsaDoras is not bad but it is so tiny.
  3. Shape the highest point and the end of the eyebrow, here I work with the brush in the same direction as the straws, to get a softer result that does not become too sharp.
  4. Fill in the inner edge in the same way, so that it does not become too sharp.

Then it's ready! :)
