Beautylunch with Make Up Store

3

Going to a press event is a bit like training for me, a while before you think about it "Do I really have the strength?" but then when you do, you do not regret for a second! So much fun, and it gives a lot more energy than it takes :)

Today was really no exception, I was invited to Beautylunch with Make Up Store and it was so nicely upset with a three-course and review of the news where the makeup artist made up a model while showing all the products, fun!

There is a lot of news going on, but you also know for sure that Make Up Store is making a makeover of its entire range, with new packaging and designs. And do you know what is also great, I think, they are also redoing the formula in all products so that the entire range will be vegan!

We brought home a lot of products that I will show you soon, super fun :)

We even got completely vegetarian food, and it was sooo good!

One of the news is a face primer in powder form that will be very exciting to test! I felt a little on my hand and the skin became so smooth.

But one of the most fun products to try is probably their contour kit which contains a sun powder and a highlighter. It seemed very good!

IMG_9089_111Not the best make-up light to take pictures in haha, but there are different make-ups on the face halves so you could compare the products properly, which is always fun :)

Incredibly inspiring! Just wanted to go home and start putting on my makeup. And as usual wonderful company too! It's so fun to meet other beauty bloggers who understand exactly everything you say when you talk about work, most others do not haha.

So I am more than happy with the day, and soon you will see all the products you too.

Hope you all have a super nice evening ♥

Sleek Eyeshadow Palette - Oh So Special

In the last few days I have shown two make-ups made with eye shadows from the eye shadow palette Oh So Special from Sleek, it is a palette that I have received a press sample from International.boots.com, which now also sends orders to Sweden! :)

I got a whole bunch of products from there, so you will see more from that webshop in the near future.

IMG_8273_111

Sleek is a budget brand that is not huge in Sweden, but the whole Instagram type is flooded with Sleek products, if you, like me, follow many makeup bloggers :)

Their i-Divine palettes are a series of eyeshadow palettes in several different variants, they contain both shimmery and matte eyeshadows and are available in lots of colors, and each palette contains twelve different shades.

The pallets cost 7.99 pounds on International.boots.com, which is about 111 kronor. I have the shade Oh So Special which contains a very good color scale in my opinion, perfect if you like earthy tones but which is still a little more fun than just beige and brown!

Nice colors huh? This is what they look like on the skin:

In the picture I have eyeshadow primer underneath as well.

IMG_8284_111

The shimmery shades are a bit crumbly, but otherwise the shadows are good, a bit chewy pigment in some of them while others are great. With eye shadow primer you get a very nice result with all the colors :)

The only shade I do not like to work with, it is the reddish brown at the top right. It is as if it has a black matte base, so when you have applied the shadow and then faded it out, it is as if you brush away the reddish-brown color and shimmer, so that the fading becomes greyish instead.

In my two make-ups with these shadows, you can see what I mean by that, the gray-blue fade is very nice but the reddish-brown is greyish at the edges:

If you want to see more pictures of the make-up, you will find the gray-blue in it this post, and the maroon in this post :)

Summary - Nice palette for a cheap price, and all shades are good except the reddish-brown which becomes greyish in the fading. Overall no wow effect but still a nice palette that I like.

Any of you who have tested this? What do you think? ♥

Sleek Smokey Eye

I've had a craze for smoky eyes lately, whatever makeup I do it becomes a kind of smokey eye in the end. I hope you like it too :)

The type of sweeping that I love the most, or feel most comfortable in is perhaps a better word choice, is when all the focus is on the eyes and all the dark is only applied to the top. It lifts the gaze very much, while at the same time you can apply quite a lot of eye shadow without the whole thing feeling super made up.

And then a strong lip color on it, yummy!

Beauty Christmas calendar from Yves Rocher

A few weeks ago I got a nice surprise in the mailbox - Yves Rocher's own Christmas calendar, wiiiiih!

The Christmas calendar* starts selling today and sells until November 15, if it does not sell out earlier, there are only a limited number. The price is SEK 699, and 21 of all 24 products are in full size, so it's a lot for the money :)

Look so nice!

IMG_8745_111

The package includes 24 bags of products (of course) as well as a string and clothespins so you can hang the party. I have hung it up in my blog room at work, because this is where I have all my makeup and products nowadays :) There are concrete walls everywhere and I have no finished nails anywhere, so I hung it up in the curtain and decorated with a blue ribbon that I tied to a bow! It was not quite a shame actually, really sweet!

IMG_8764_111

Fint va? With my name over and all, but mirrored from the inside :)

I'm a good girl so I have not peeked into any of the bags, it goes against all my principles haha, but I have felt and squeezed and it seems to be very good products in the bags! Some are light while others feel very heavy and stuffy. Number 18 was so heavy that I did not dare to hang it in the curtain rod, that is why it is on the side.

IMG_8779_111

The string that comes with is a cozier "rope string" but I changed to a white, it is so stylish in here so I thought it would fit a little better.

Blir ni sugna? :) Personally, I long for attan to December now!

Christmas calendar is available to buy Yvesrocher.se* and for SEK 699 it is yours.

Maternity! ♥

I've done it again!

I'm done it again, tattooed my lips! :)

Last time, the color did not adhere so well, which is why you have not seen any afterimages. The reason can be speculated about, but since Annika and I know each other so well, she tested some new stuff on me, which may be the reason why it did not attach so much. It's so, if you do not test, you can not know if there is something better (or in this case worse) but you can not get rid of any customers haha.

So today Amir did my lip tattoo again!

IMG_8633_111

If you missed who Amir is, I can tell you that he is a permanent makeup artist at the salon and now works here full time, after working a lot with Annika since last summer. Amir is not one of Annika's apprentices, but has worked with permanent makeup even longer than her! So he is super talented :)

We tattooed very far outside my natural contour, Annika did it on me that time it did not attach so well either. And since I am so used to painting with a pencil, it is a little difficult to know how far outside you get a tattoo, because when you draw the shape with a pencil before, you are so used to having such a large shape. But this time Miska was there and took pictures in the meantime (and actually filmed, you will see a film clip of it later!) So now you can see how far outside it really is haha, check this out:

IMG_8643_111

Nice haha. It looks like it's bigger on one side because it's more outside there, but that's because it attached more on the other side after Annika got a tattoo, so they've been different sizes for a while now.

IMG_8662_111

Here Amir is filling in the color itself :) We made an intoned contour, which is the most common, and this time we skipped highlighter which I think is a bit nice, then it is probably not as hard when it heals because it is not tattooed on the entire lip.

IMG_8683_111

And this is how red and sharp it looks now! It will be so exciting to see when it has healed, the color is always red, dark and sharp afterwards but it becomes much more natural after the healing, which takes about a week.

IMG_8706_111

And I'm a little swollen too, that's why they are not completely symmetrical.

I will both take photos and film the healing process this time, so you will see all the pictures in a clear blog post later when it has healed, and also a film of the whole thing, so much fun!

What do you think? Do you think it will be nice? :)
