Golden eyeshadow - Tips on palette!

Not sure how to put on make-up? Dot a golden eye shadow around the whole eye, of course! Suitable for all people and all occasions and my tip, have a palette with different shades so you can easily vary!

My most useful palette contains the perfect gold shade! It is not too light, not too yellow and not too glittery = very easy to feel comfortable in whatever day.

In this make-up I complemented with a dark brown eyeliner with wing (mixed shadow + fixing mist, so the eyeliner is a shadow from the same palette actually) and dark red murky lips to it. But it is also great with just gold shadow, mascara and neutral lips too!

Tips on palette for golden eye shadow

The palette I'm talking about is glo Skin Beauty Eyeshadow Palette Mixed Metals.

BASE:

Face primer - glo Skin Beauty Tinted Primer (Medium)
Foundation - Pixi H2O Skintint (2 Nude)
Concealer - glo Skin Beauty Under Eye Concealer (Golden)
Powder that neutralizes redness - glo Skin Beauty Redness relief powder
Powder - Paese Bamboo Silk Powder
Contouring - Contouring Palette (2)
Rouge - Paese Powder Blush (57)
Fixing Mist - Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist

It's so easy to turn your eye shadows into liquid eyeliners!

You need a liquid that is more durable on the skin than water, e.g. Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist if you still use it for the face (large bottle) or small bottle Kryolan Cake Liner Sealer which is perfect if you are only going to use it for small areas. As well as an eyeliner brush.

Mix the shadow + the liquid and then paint like a regular eyeliner! :)

EYES:

Primer with eye primer before, I use Pixi Beauty Record Eye Primer.
Gold shadow on the entire eyelid, glo Skin Beauty Eyeshadow Palette Mixed Metals
Fade the edges
The same shadow under the eye
Light shimmer shadow in the corner of the eye and under the brow, the same palette
Brown eyeliner with wing, mix brown shadow (from the same palette) with Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist and paint like a regular liquid eyeliner.
Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic lash mascara

Clear!

My waterline is tattooed light. So for exactly the same eyes, you can supplement with glo Skin Beauty Eye Pencil (Peach) too. Or tattoo;)

Paese Argan Oil Lipstick - New colors!

We have received many new shades of Paese Argan Oil Lipstick in the webshop and I myself have received several new favorites! :)

In this post I show all the shades: 1. painted next to each other on the arm 2. close-ups on the lips and 3. full pictures on the face so that you can see the lipstick further away.

Both the news and the old nuances, so you can see them all!

Because it can be difficult to judge the color and the result through just swatch images, I think, it makes it easier with more images. Then it differs from screen to screen a little so I can never guarantee the exact tone that you see - but I have really fought and done my best! :)

What is Paese Argan Oil Lipstick?

These lipsticks are creamy and moisturizing, yet full-coverage in one go. Even though they are so soft, they stay on the lips for a long time thanks to the fact that they are so rich in pigment.

Argan oil contains Vitamin E, antioxidants and Omega 6 which nourish and protect the skin. Ideal for people who easily get dry lips.

I have used these lipsticks in… * check the archive *… for so long that I can not even find when we started selling them for the old webshop is no longer there. In the summer of 2014, I know for sure that I used them diligently, so at least for 5-6 years!

Formula & shades

The lipsticks are glossy but not as glossy as lip gloss, but more "cream-glossy".

All shades are only called numbers, but I have taken photos in color order and not number order because it will be easier to compare them with each other then.

My favorites are 17, 33, 51, 36, and 55 (many haha) but the best seller from day one has been 35! We have customers who buy 3-4 pieces at a time and use every day. It's probably the product that sold the most without me using it much, it sells itself as well!

Here we have the best seller! Very light and perfect tone, it is very light and beige without becoming brown-beige but also not light pink.

I love bright colors and shade 17 is my new everyday favorite! Light without being particularly enlightening of my natural skin tone / lip color.

The shade 14 is a "lip color" which is a bit pinkish brown :)

The shade 41 Miska likes a lot! :) A happy light pink color that is a softer variant of bubble gum you can say? Not a bubbly bubble gum but so sweet-pink :)

24 is one of the old goodies in the range, incredibly useful! A little "lip color" but more pink.

How happy was I when the purple shade 33 came? Do you see how nice it is ?! A tone of purple that is easy to wear.

51, 51, 51! How dreamy this spring? I'm in love!!

The 36 shade is also a spring favorite, a little warmer tone than 51 but also so summery!

Orange lipstick that makes the whole look shine! I had a lot of orange lipstick a few years ago and from now on I will have it often again, it's so nice :)

The 25 shade is red without being red? Perfect if you love red lips but have a hard time feeling comfortable in it or want a softer version :)

I like soft lip colors, so as the 25 shade is "soft red", the 54 shade is a "soft dark pink".

Color without it getting crunchy like :) Love it!

The shades 29 and 45 are quite similar at first glance, but 29 is bright in the pink-raspberry red direction while 45 is a little darker and a little more purple-pink.

Here is the 45 shade, so heavenly nice !!!

There is no red lipstick we have sold as much as this shade 44. I have heard several times over the years "I do not usually look for red lipsticks but THIS is what I must have !!".

I think it's because it's a little soft in tone maybe? Many (including myself) love it anyway! :)

And last but not least, the fantastic newcomer 62! The red in the tone shines through more in the picture because I shoot with flash, I think the swatch image on the arm makes it more fair in the shade. It's hard to find creamy lipsticks in such dark tones that actually become full-coverage in one go and even in tone, but this one is perfect! Crazy looking!

Finally, you get close-ups of all lipsticks as well.

I'm so glad I have EVERYONE at home haha! Lucky ♥

There is a lot of "material love" that I do not understand, technology gadgets, cars, etc. But beautiful lipsticks - think that it can give so much joy anyway! :)

Orange Lips & Warm Smokey Eyes (Step by Step)

This is a really nice make-up! A brown make-up or rather a brown smokey eyes that fits incredibly well with orange or coral lipstick, how nice ?!

It was a very long time since I had orange lipstick, it's so nice!

A few years ago I had orange lips for a whole spring and want to remember that it was very trendy for a short period then? Not a trend in such a way that fashion magazines write "trend of the year" without seeing this and that for real in everyday life.

This year I resume the orange trend! :) In this make-up it turned into a dark brown soot that also has a warm tone at the edges.

Orange Lips & Warm Smokey Eyes (Step by Step)

All eye shadows are from the palette glo Skin Beauty Shadow Quartet (Bon Voyage). Have used all four colors from the palette!

In the close-up of this brown make-up, you can see the warm tone in the fading a little better than in the full pictures. Fine! I did it to match the lipstick better. It is more common to choose lipstick based on eye makeup, but I almost always do the opposite, choose the lipstick first! :)

EYES TO HOT SMOKEY EYES:

Primer with eye primer before, Paese Beauty Record Eye Primer.
Dark brown eye shadow on the entire eyelid, glo Skin Beauty Shadow Quartet (Bon Voyage)
Fade out the edge
Warm pink beige (?) Eye shadow in the globe line (same palette)

Light shadow under the brow and in the corner of the eye (same palette)

Make up more vigorously - before & after

I had such a good customer in the make-up chair last Saturday! She booked eyebrow pick and eyebrow color as well as make-up consultation incl. products. She wanted help to put on more make-up and wanted a simple make-up with few products.

I made a little special concealer technique on the eyes as well which turned out really well, write more about it in the product list :)

Here are the results before and after:

We have used a total of 7 products for this result:

BASE:

1. Foundation gel Pixi H2O Skintint (Nude) all over the face. Can be applied with the fingers and sinks in quickly without that you need to work it into the skin. The result is naturally fresh and semi-opaque, there is a big difference while the skin still looks like skin. Holds well in wrinkles and lines too!

2. Concealers Pixi Pat Away Concealing Base (Nude) under and on the eyes. Very thin layer! Extremely opaque and "fixes" nicely on the skin even if you skip powder, provided you apply a thin layer.

Technical tips! The most important thing for the customer was to get rid of the dark redness around the eyes while she did not want any type of eye shadows / bronzer or more steps in the routine - just coverage. But if you put a full-covering layer around the entire eye and up to the eyebrows, you kind of have to wear eye shadows so that it does not look unnatural and flat. So what I did was simply not to apply the concealer over the whole area, but to apply it a little more 3-dimensionally directly! I first put concealer in the middle of the eyelid, then I gently dabbed out to the sides of the eye to get a little less coverage there. Then I put thin under the brow and under the eye as well. The result is then: full coverage and bright in the middle of the eyelid, weak coverage on the sides of the eyelid and no coverage at all in the globe line. In this way, her own skin tone becomes a natural shade!

3. Red glo Skin Beauty Blush (Sandalwood). I chose a tone that is a little more brownish red than pink, so that she can sweep it on more parts of the face as well. This is to get more color and shape in the face after foundation and concealer, but in a simpler way than contouring. So I wrapped the blush in the face deep parts as well.

BRYN:

4. Multipenn Pixi Natural Brow Duo (Deep brunette) with a triangular brow pencil at one end (easy to use due to not being as sharp as a regular cape) and a brow at the other end. The gel is perfect for her eyebrows because she has such thin straws, so it's nice to emphasize them with gel.

In this picture, however, I have filled in incredibly sparingly because the eyebrows are also newly colored.

EYES:

5. Brown eye shadow Paese Kashmir Eyeshadow (604) along the lash line. Requires almost no precision and goes very fast, also softer as it is brown and a little smoky compared to a sharp, black eyeliner.

6. Mascaran Magnetic Lash Mascara on only the upper lashes.

LIPS:

7. The lipstick glo Skin Beauty Lipstick (Pillow Talk). Very similar to her own lip color but emphasizes the shape more. The lipstick is moisturizing and creamy but still quite "firm" on the lips, so it fits very well.

Putting on make-up more vigorously does not have to be more difficult than that! :)
