Creative Makeup By Her celebrates a week!

Last Friday we opened the doors to our new store and salon Creative Makeup By Her, which means we are celebrating a week today, yeey! :)

We have been open for a whole week and yet it was only this morning that I got my desk ready in the blog room haha. We were so focused on prioritizing everything that was needed before the opening that I have the world's longest list on my after-opening to-do list, but I'm starting to get more and more pli on everything.

But look how nice my little work table is now!

Stylish but colorful

A little difference if you compare with a month ago, when kitchen tables, dressing tables and offices were the same place but at different times of the day :)

Gifts that I received as congratulations to the new store, could not be so much more "I" :) The nice rose-golden owl I got from Monica (my friend and hairdresser) and the lipstick is actually a pencil that I received in the mail yesterday from my sister sister from Finlans who wrote "you need a nice pen at work", so cute! :)

IMG_5836_111

And a pink bag in the trash, of course;)

However, is unreasonably eager to buy a new MAC computer now, must have a rose gold, right?

There is a lot left to fix, my makeup collection is complete chaos among other things, and generally in the shop and salon there is a lot to do as well.

But it works out and everything feels so heavenly good I must say! Got a comment in the blog yesterday from a person who wrote that she was happy that I am back (with make-up, etc. in the blog, that is) and I am really happy! You are so sweet, no complaints when I have not had time, just lots of good luck wishes, and now you are happy that I am back :) ♥

Although I am not completely back, still a bit bad with updates but it gets better and better and soon I will be back as usual again, promise!

Now I will put on make-up so I have time to finish it before my make-up consultation in two hours :)

Hugs are!

Colorful neon makeup

Today I got home a kit with a press sample on Yves Rocher's new eyeliner pens that are incredibly pigment-rich, and I was so happy that I did not have time to put on make-up yet because then I could put them to the test immediately :)

I blog now right after I put on make-up so I can not determine the durability and such details yet, but I love to paint with them!

Here is today's colorful look where I used these pencils in the shades Lemon, Blue Agave and Rose fuchsia:

You need color in life now that the autumn darkness and the cold are starting to creep in ♥

Do you think your lips look good? I have used the same pink eyeliner pen as on the eyes also on the lips! Works no matter how good, as I said can not determine durability and the like but I started with lip balm and then the eyeliner and it feels just fine, creamy but at the same time firm :)

Hope you liked the look! A more detailed review of the pens will come as soon as I have had time to test them a little more.

And by the way, what do you think about my pictures now in the new place, now I have brought the background here as well so that it is not the wall you see behind me but a photo screen. Did not think it made more difference than being there behind but see that the light seems to bounce differently and the colors are much warmer with the background than without. If you compare with the pictures of the makeup I showed in this post the day before yesterday. Which do you prefer the most? :)

Everyday make-up that lifts the eyes

This day I made up beautiful Frida again :)

First of all, she wanted me to put away her pimples on her forehead (which she can't help but peel off haha) and then she wanted an everyday make-up that highlights and lifts the gaze without looking too made-up and spruced up.

When you want such a look, which should be effective without becoming too clear, it is a good idea to put makeup on just the top of the eyes. I applied the eyeshadow just a little on the bottom of the lower lash line, but otherwise I put everything on the top and also skipped mascara on the lower lashes.

IMG_5732_111

When she looks straight ahead, it looks like this, the darkness along the globe line "pulls up" the eyes, which lifts the gaze. And she still does not look particularly made up because she does not have much under her eyes at all.

I put on make-up so fast that I do not remember what I used, but I have used gloMinerals Pressed Base foundation anyway, I remember!

And when she blinks, you see the make-up a little clearer, brighter on the inner part of the eyelid and darker (but not very dark) on the outer part of the eyelid and along the globe line.

Gold kit from Elizabeth Arden

About a week ago, I received a press release that felt so luxurious and nice - great gift tips! :)

These were some of the products from Elizabeth Arden's new Limited Edition collection "Golden Opulence" with golden, shiny and stylish boxes (which I have not photographed as it just shone and reflected the light from the flash) and products in baroque style. I got home a sparkling lip gloss, golden highlighter and a very nice perfume bottle!

There are more products in this series, and the entire series is Limited Edition and went on sale this fall.

All products from the series are available at, among other places Eleven.se :)

The lip gloss Elizabeth Arden Lip Gloss is the shade Imperial Skimmer and is a soft red tone with pink and golden glitter in it that sparkles on the lips. I think very nice, not red but not pink either, but more light red if you can say so.

It tastes mildly of vanilla, and the lips become very soft. It feels a bit sticky, especially if you apply quite a lot, which is easy as the applicator absorbs a lot of gloss from the sleeve. If you scrape off the excess on the edge before applying on the lips, and paint quite a bit, you get the nice shine and glitter without it feeling too much and sticky :)

In other words, great lip gloss and I like it, but a little too sticky for my taste which is very sensitive to that.

Highlighter palettes Elizabeth Arden Highlighter Gold Illumination had to my great disappointment broken in the delivery. Such a shame. But the palette contains three different tones, and I show the mixture of them on the hand anyway, you get a little hum :) Gold and nice!

IMG_5519_111

The perfume Elizabeth Arden Untold Luxe is a more concentrated variant of the previous perfume Untold. Not a Helena perfume at all, unfortunately, but it smells good! I think it smells luxurious and a bit dusty, and it is described as "an elegant fragrance for the woman who likes glamor", and I can agree with that description :) A pretty warm and floral scent I would say.

Top notes - Plums and black currants
Heart notes - Flowers
Base notes - Amber

If you have any questions, shout out! ♥

Plum glam makeup

God how fun it was to put on make-up now! Feels like I have not done it in an eternity, have so much inspiration, and the time is starting to come too :)

I got an idea today that was kind of the best ever, imagine that I have had my "must-find-the-perfect-purple-lipstick-pen" in the makeup agency for like a year!

After doing a quick sweep with the eyeliner Paese Linea Automatic Eyeliner in the shade Plum Glam, I thought I would test that pen on my lips as well, and pull myself on a small cart as nice as it turned out! Best decision in my whole life haha!

A little lip balm before so that the lips are not dry, then it will be as good as any lip pencil :)
