Yves Rocher Makeup Remover

I have received a request to show more Yves Rocher products before my discount code YRHELENA expires last March, so here is a product tip that I have written about before but which I thought to mention again as it is one of the few things I have had several bottles of and used end of all :)

It's Yves Rochers eye cleanser which removes all eye makeup as easily as possible, even waterproof mascara!

I have tried Yves Rocher's other cleaning which is oil free as well, but it is not as good at all. But this is two-phase (shake before use) and very effective.

The remover contains cornflower which is known for its soothing properties.

Shake the bottle
2. Apply on a cotton ball
3. Hold the remover against your eyes for a while so that the make-up dissolves
4. Carefully "caress" the makeup, be light on your hand and do not rub! It is neither good for the skin nor for the eyelashes.

Goes quickly and easily, while being gentle :)

The bottle costs SEK 59 and contains 125 ml! Available to buy here!

My Yves Rocher favorites

Now there are only a few days left until my discount code on YvesRocher.se expires, so today I have done a make-up with my three favorite products from Yves Rocher that are great for basically any kind of make-up!

It's the lip pencil Automatic Lip Liner in shade 32 Rouge Foncé,
the bright glitter shadow Loose Pearls in shade 05.Nacres Cristal,
and the turquoise eyeliner Waterproof Eye Pencil in shade 05.Turquoise!

If you enter the discount code YRHELENA, you get a 20% discount on the entire purchase, and you also get this bright glitter shade on the purchase, completely free! :)

The lip pencil is super nice to apply on the entire lips, and it becomes really durable as well. The pen is creamy but firm, and does not feel at all dry on the lips as many lip pencils can do.

The glitter is very nice to apply as I have done in today's makeup - in the corner of the eye and under the brow, or on top of another color, as I have also done in today's makeup - on the underside of the eye on top of the turquoise eyeliner to get a glittery effect.

The turquoise eyeliner is waterproof and incredibly durable, it fits well even along the waterline all day! Available in more colors, but the turquoise is my favorite.

Hope you were inspired, shout if you have any questions! ♥

Today's tip - Face mask

Today I thought I would give you some different face mask tips! The skin often ends up in imbalance just when it is becoming a new season, and then a little extra skin care is super good.

Also, I just got in two new face masks at Byher.se, they are 100% natural and 70% organic, and come from the English skin care brand Botanicals!

Before face mask
If you do not have much time, it is better to apply the face mask without doing anything more than just washing your face before. But the very best is if you can prepare the skin and warm it up before.

My best tip is to heat a saucepan of water and sit with your head over the steam for about 10 minutes. It's super nice too, turn on some quiet music and enjoy the heat for a while :)

Wipe off all moisture from the face and apply the face mask! And do not forget to check the duration of action, all masks should be on for different lengths and it is important not to remove it before if you want full effect.

The properties of the face mask
It is important to use a face mask that is adapted to your particular skin type, but if you are unsure and do not have the opportunity to go to a dermatologist who helps, there are two properties that are good for all skin types, and they are:

Moisture - All skin types need moisture! Masks for oily and oily skin often do not feel moisturizing enough in my opinion, but moisture is important even for oily and impure skin. Many moisturizing masks you can even sleep with, the skin can not get too much of it simply :)

Deep cleansing - You can use peeling to get the skin a little extra clean, but I like to have a face mask with deep cleansing effects that also helps a little extra! This is not only good for oily and impure skin, but a dry and "lifeless" skin also gets much more radiance if dead skin cells and the like disappear. This is e.g. clay masks great for, it absorbs oil, dead skin cells and impurities from the pores.

In other words, a properly cleansed skin full of moisture is something that basically all skin types can strive for. And it is exactly these properties that both face masks from Botanicals have, both are clay masks though Botanicals Clay Mask - Rose Clay & Rosehip is more suitable for dry skin, while Botanicals Clay Mask - Green Clay & Avocado is adapted for oily and combination skin.

face mask

Botanicals Revitalizing Mask with Rose Clay & Rosehip is a face mask adapted for tired, dry, sensitive and mature skin.

French rosera helps to remove dirt, dead skin cells and impurities from the skin, and gives your dull skin much more radiance!

Rosolja moisturizes and repairs the skin and is often used in skin care for mature skin.
Jojoba oil is very moisturizing and nourishing.
Camellia oil reduces fine lines, makes stretch marks less visible and strengthens the skin.
Shea butter soothes irritated skin and speeds up the healing process.

Botanicals Balancing Mask with Green Clay & Avocado is a face mask adapted for oily and impure skin that easily gets acne. The skin becomes clean, clear and incredibly soft and smooth!

Green clay extracts dirt, dead skin cells and oil from the pores and deeply cleanses the skin.
Cold pressed avocado oil is gentle and moisturizes and protects the skin, and also suits sensitive skin.
Jojoba oil is soothing and is often used in skin care for oily skin, as it balances sebum production.
Marigold soothes irritated skin.
Lemongrass and mandarin gets the skin in balance.

After face mask
Cleaning - When I wash off the face mask, I usually soak a spa sponge with warm water and massage off the mask, then the skin is exfoliated a little extra! I use Konjac Facial Sponge - Bamboo Charcoal, but if you have dry and sensitive skin, that is Konjac Heart Facial Sponge - Pink Clay better.

I usually massage the skin a little extra even when the mask is gone, it is good both for the pores and for the blood circulation in the face!

Cold water - Finish with cold water to close the pores.

Cream - If you use the face masks from Botanicals that I recommend, the skin feels very moisturized after thanks to all the caring ingredients, but to finish with a day cream or night cream (depending on the time) is still recommended. I use Sanctum Moisture Concentrate and it feels absolutely wonderful on the skin!skin care-oily-skin

Surely it is super nice as a gift to also give away an organic face mask and a nice spa sponge? :)

Gala, event, make-up job and cow kit

I often wish my days were a little more interesting so that I could blog about it too, because I understand that it's fun to read about a bit of that too and not just makeup tips and products.

So now that I have actually done a lot of stuff the last few days, I thought I would take the opportunity to write a bit about it :) Hope you think it's a little fun!

Wednesdays:

1427360652-6079

On Wednesday, the Finest Awards were on the schedule!

Super fun that we were a small "beauty gang" that was seen before, me, Hiilen, Mathias and Caroline. Bloggers understand each other so well, and especially when you also blog about the same things!

There was a lot of make-up talk, I can tell you about :) Among other things, everyday problems such as opening the door when you are Halloween-made-up with bullet holes in the forehead that Helen had been through haha!

Thursday:

IMG_0293_111

Last Thursday I first worked with the blog and webshop all morning, you were just tired after the gala but it was just a bit of a bite :) And then it was off to Stockholm again at an event with Björlings Massageakademi, they presented the new oil Me Anima but in addition, you could also take part in various treatments such as spraying, cupping and fillers.

I was there with Annika Söderlund who does permanent makeup Creative Make Up. She did not do any treatments on site, it requires a lot of focus, but we talked about the salon, answered questions and showed pictures!

It was not a big event but it was a lot of well-known faces even for me who does not have much control over people, including Tilde Fröling, Carin Da Silva and a blogger that I love - Daniel Paris!

When the people started moving home, Annika took the opportunity to try a treatment - facial acupuncture :)

IMG_0303_111

I took the opportunity to take a close-up of her when she lay down, do you see her nice freckles? They are tattooed !! Annika is completely unmade up in the picture.

IMG_0309_111

Here she is lying with all the needles on her face, and I was standing next to her, watching haha. I did not dare to test myself when I heard that they went about one cm down into the muscles! Uncomfortable! But certainly great, I have very tense jaws so should really try :)

IMG_0315_111

You could also conjure away the worry wrinkle in the forehead that Jeanette in the picture did. ”I need my wrinkles"I said,"they are so good to test products on" Lol. If you are a beauty blogger, you are :)

Friday:

I came home at half past one at night, and then it was just up and jumping again at 5 in the morning, after 4 hours of sleep. Then it was off to Arlanda!

IMG_0340_111

I was staying in a conference room at Terminal 5, oh what you got the urge to go abroad then!

I would mainly pamper the SAS staff's eyebrows, but also had some products with me to show and give some make-up tips to those who are wondering. And that was what attracted me the most too, I plucked the eyebrows of ONE person haha, then it was mostly make-up talk and try out colors. But it was nice too :)

IMG_0318_111

A bit messy picture maybe, I took a photo quickly before I would put everything together, and then had a lot of testing and stirring among the products :)

Today:

20150328_120250_111

And today I got a break from all the glamorous and superficial, and celebrated my grandmother's birthday out in the country! I love beauty, but have to step on a bit of cow shit sometimes too to feel good haha :)

And after that I have mostly just cleaned here at home in the apartment, I am both good at messing up and cleaning, so it usually evens out, but now that I have barely been home I have only cleaned so it looked like a bombing here! Terrible!

The hall is full of goodie bags (with scattered contents lying on the floor), clothes everywhere after all the changes and the dining table full of make-up and new products and packages that Miska has been kind and picked up when I have not had time.

But you can have worse problems haha. New tag tomorrow! Now I'll probably go to bed I think, damn so nice :)

What do / have you done this weekend? ♥

New - Botanicals!

Good morning to you !!

I have taken a much needed sleep morning today! Feels wrong to say bedtime when you get up at 8 on a Saturday, but I usually get up at 5, and since I went to bed at 9 last night, it feels like bedtime :)

After three packed days (have gone to Stockholm and home again every day) and a minilite of both sleep and food, I was so tired yesterday that my head spun. But it has been fun everything (!) And I will show more pictures from everything later today.

BUT NOW I have a huge fun news to tell you !!!
