I want to tell you about a superb eyelash curler that I have become a little addicted to!

Otherwise, I usually always use an eyelash curler with heat, because it wears less on the lashes because you can apply mascara first and then it works as a heat protection. In addition, you get a very soft bend with heat.

But Laura Mercier has a superb eyelash curler in plastic that gives a very nice and soft bend, and in addition, eyelash curlers do not wear in place as much as those made of metal!

I got it home as a press test a few weeks ago and have used it a lot since then :)

This is what it looks like, small and weighs almost nothing.

It costs SEK 125 HERE and then an extra rubber cushion is included so that you can change when the first one starts to wear out! The rubber cushion is attached to the underside of the lash bend, so you do not neglect it :)

The handle is folded up so that it is flat when you are not using it, and when you have to bend the lashes, you just fold it down and press when you want it to close.

A tip if you have long lashes is to first bend as close to the lash line as possible, and then also a little further out. Then you get a softer bend!

I have actually had a bit of a phobia for eyelash curlers that bend by squeezing, because the first one I owned (from H&M I think) could squeeze the skin every now and then and it hurt! But with this one there are no problems at all so I can be calm when I use it. It's probably not a problem with most benders today, but I still have a little anxiety from all the times I squeezed in my teens haha.

Excuse my worn nails by the way, the pictures are not brand new so I still have the gel polish from my salon nails here. Do you see the small crack in the thumb nail? What I did not know when I took the picture was that below I had an ongoing infection in the nail due to the crack! So I got a surprise when I removed everything haha :) Be careful with it you who have gel nails!

Do you have any tips on a beginner lipstick for us who are not used to a lot of color on the lips? :-) Tested my daughter's red One Direction lipstick and thought it highlighted the red on my face .. ”

What I had invested in is a pigment-rich lipstick that gives both color and a opaque result, but a shade in a very soft tone that does not stand out so much on the lips. Such lipsticks that look quite dull in the sleeve, but that look incredibly good on the lips!

Then you can choose if you want a shade that goes in the red direction, e.g. raspberry red or if you want to go more in the pink direction. You do it the way you want :)

Here are at least some tips:

I have also photographed the lipsticks on the lips, but could not show them all so there were only three shades hehe. It is so difficult to remove properly after each shade when they are so pigment-rich, but here are at least three of them:

Raspberry red lips from Lumene (Smiling Lips), red without turning bright red!

Vert radieux makeup - Green makeup with eyeliner

Now all the December festivities are over and I have a great desire to show you everyday make-up in all its forms!

Today I have done a green everyday make-up with an eyeshadow from Yves Rocher which I think is so heavenly nice. Moss green but still quite light.

Hope you like it too :)

The lipstick is also from Yves Rocher, Moisturizing Cream Lipstick in the shade 22.Petite Mauve.

The eyeshadow I have used is the one at the top right in this palette which is the shade 02.Vert radieux.

1. Apply it green eye shadow on the entire eyelid and fade the edges.
2. Bright, shimmery eye shadow under the brow, in the corner of the eye and in the middle of the eyelid, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
3. Black eyeliner with wing, By Terry Ligne Blackstar.
4. Black mascara on the upper lashes, Golden Rose Miracle Lash Mascara.

Now I have to finish the post and put on my apron, because in an hour Frida will come here and then Miska and I will have a nice dinner! :)

Organic cocoa butter for the skin

You probably have not missed all the wonderful body butters from Zoya Goes Pretty that are now on Byher.se? Read my post about them here if you want to read more!

One of these is Virgin Cacao Butter which is actually 100% organic cocoa butter, and it has become my favorite! I love the chocolate scent :)

The beneficial fat from the cocoa bean nourishes the skin, softens it and helps retain moisture. Cocoa butter is great for dry, cracked and chapped skin, and it also helps reduce stretch marks and make scars less visible!

It goes into the skin very quickly as well, which I think is great!

Cacao Butter is the one on the far left of the picture.

The cocoa butter is not diluted at all, not even with water, to be as nourishing for the skin as possible. This gives a fairly hard consistency at room temperature, but it melts super fast in the hands and becomes like a transparent oil.

I use it on my dry narrow legs, hands and lips! :)

A person who puts on make-up really nicely it is Kenza Zouiten, and the reason why she is so good-looking in her make-up, I do not think is because she knows exactly where you e.g. should apply the shading for the perfect face shape or how to make the lips as full as possible. But I think she's just really good at following her own traits and emphasizing the beauty she has!

For the very finest everyday make-ups according to my taste, they are where all the make-up you use is applied to emphasize the beauty of the face, and not to enlarge, reshape, etc. without following your own lines and in a natural way just bring it out best in its appearance!

But it does not have to mean that you should be "afraid of makeup" but you can still use eye shadows, lip gloss and the whole choir :)

Today's make - up is therefore a fast everyday make - up that is inspired by Kenza!

Makeup details - Highlighted eyebrows, natural glossy lips, discreet shading and highlighter on the face, a flawless base, softly smoky eyes in earthy colors and long eyelashes.

Lip-gloss, Paese Balm Lip Gloss (shade 622)

1. Gray-brown eye shadow smoked on the entire eyelid and lower lash line, Paese Kashmir Trio Eyeshadow (684)
2. Brown eye shadow soot at the end of the eyelid and at the end of the lower lash line, Paese Kashmir Trio Eyeshadow (684)
3. Black eye shadow thin along the upper lash line (like a discreet eyeliner), Paese Kashmir Matte Black Eyeshadow.
4. Bright, shimmery eye shadow in the corner of the eye and under the brow, Annika's Favorite Shadow.
5. Bend the lashes and apply mascara on all lashes, Golden Rose Miracle Lash Mascara.

What I love most about doing make-up inspired by famous people, is the level of humor here at home when I joke with Miska at about 5 minute intervals - “Why do we have a painting on Kenza here?"And points to the mirror,"look at this picture, here I look awfully much like her !!”And shows a picture from her blog. The risk is great that Miska will get tired of me soon haha!
