I was just going to look into this blog and tell you a little bit about how we feel in Cape Verde, and the answer is WONDERFUL !! :)

Everything is really good no matter what, the food, the weather, the hotel, the people, the restaurants, and we have internet in the hotel that works flawlessly so it is good to check through and respond to all emails needed and also I can keep you updated!

The first two days we just enjoyed and completely forgot that we even have a camera, but today I took some pictures and thought to show you how we started the day:

My in-country requirements are met, good internet and good coffee! Check:) Our hotel is located right by the sea and we have such a nice view from the breakfast table:

Then it was a few hours on the beach!

Miska was not prepared for that wave hahaha.

Still pale, but as you can see, there is no need for us at all; )

Now I'll take a shower and then we'll go out look for a cozy restaurant and have some dinner!

Make-up on the trip

Every time I have gone abroad, I have pretty much fixed myself for the evenings. This is my and Miska's 4th trip abroad and for the first time I will try to put on as little make-up as possible and just be lucky!

But it's hard to know beforehand how much you will want to put on make-up, I'm not going to force myself to be made up:) I will probably be eager to make myself a little extra nice in any case, you do not know before. So I have still packed some makeup with me in case that and thought to show you what I have prioritized!

Eyes: Eyeshadow primer, Annika's Favorite shadow, 2 trio palettes, colorful eyeliner, black eyeliner, Mascara.

Face: 2 foundations in different colors, matte face primer, concealer (both light and green), blush, sun powder, highlighter (actually an eye shadow)

Lips: 2 neutral lipsticks and a moisturizing noodle lip gloss

Other: Makeup brushes, tweezers, eyebrow scissors and eyebrow cream

It actually did not strike me until I stood and took pictures that everything in the picture except the eyebrow products is from my webshop !! It was a little fun, and a proof that I sell my favorites!

The only thing I forgot to present in the picture is an eyelash curler, perfect when I dyed the lashes before I went, then just bend them a little so they are much more visible:)

An everyday make-up does not always have to be neutral in earthy shades, here is a bright and lovely make-up with a little green eye shadow and pink lips that livens up the autumn darkness! :)

Green eye shadow along the lower lash line, Yag mineral eye shadow (Jade)
Black mascara on all lashes, Magnetic Lash Mascara.

Beauty pageants fascinate me quite a lot, beauty is very much a matter of taste and even though there are ideals, they look so different in different countries. So it's a pretty diffuse thing to compete in, at the same time as it must be great fun for those who compete !! :)

Now the beauty contest "Miss International" has kicked off in Tokyo, and it is quite exciting to watch all the contestants from the different countries. There are about 150 countries involved, including Sweden, here you can see and vote for everyone who competes.

The funny thing is (I do not know if I mentioned it to you before?) That I am quite face blind, not 100% but I have enormous difficulty with faces. And even though there are so many different origins in the competition, I think that almost everyone looks the same haha. I would not have been a good judge:) But it is very fun to see everyone's stylings and make-up!

I like Sweden's contribution Moa, super nice! I actually played with her when we were little because our mothers are childhood friends, but we do not know each other at all anymore. But it's a bit fun anyway:)

Today's make-up is an incredibly nice everyday make-up where I have not actually used any eye shadows at all for the eyes, but the eye shadows you see are the same sun powder, blush and highlighter that I have on my face!

Perfect if you e.g. should sleep away from home and do not want to bring so many products.
Hope you are inspired :)

The lipstick is Paese Lipstick with argan oil in shade 16.

Rouge innermost part of the eyelid, Golden Rose powder blush.
Sun pillows on the outside on the eyelid and lower lash line, Lumene Artic Sun Bronzer (Golden Sun)
Highlighter in the corner of the eye and under the brow, Anastasia Contour Palette.
Mascara on the upper lashes, IsaDora All Day Long Lash Mascara.
