Vert radieux - Green eye makeup

I made a shot of joy when I opened my goodie bag from Yves Rocher's store inauguration and found a super nice green 4-palette, how wonderful is this not this fall? :)

I have used these eye shadows in today's makeup!

Had I tested this when I picked up the goodie bag that I am raffling off right now, a palette like this would undoubtedly have been included! :)

The palette is called 02.Vert radieux and available for purchase here!

Unfortunately I forgot to take close-ups of the eyes, but I have quite a few clear images so I hope that is enough? :) I have used three of the eyeshadows (not the one at the bottom left, but it is also super nice!).

The golden nail polish is Yves Rocher Luminous Nail Polish (110. Or) and the red lips are Paese Lipstick with argan oil in shade 44.

I was actually going to start this wonderfully wonderful day with a competition!

The sun is shining, the week has started and tomorrow is the first of October, which means that autumn is really here for real :) Cozy!

That's why I've now picked up an autumnal goodie bag from YvesRocher.se which I was going to raffle off to you, worth a whole 1000 kronor! All products are favorites in my makeup bag :)

A mixture of lip makeup, eye makeup, nail polish and autumn colors- I also send with a great makeup remover so you can quickly go to bed in the evenings no matter how excited you are during the day :)

I have also cut together all the pictures from the website where you see all the nuances properly:

A perfect kit right? :)

All you have to do is fill out this form, the competition will run until Friday!

Good luck!!

Cut the eyebrows

2

If you have very long eyebrows, they can ruffle during the day and go crazy, and even though there are many products to keep the eyebrows in place, it is best to cut them a little too!

On some eyebrows it is enough to cut and then you do not need eyebrow-fix products for them to lie still all day. On other brows, both parts may be required.

Frida has extremely long eyebrows, and has exactly the problem I describe above, even though she uses good eyebrow fixes to keep them in place. She is very scared of the scissors so I was not allowed to cut as much as I wanted, but I still thought to show you how I did :)

This is what the brow looks like when you brush the straws down, do you see that the straws are light at the tops and go almost down to the globe line? It is not strange that the eyebrows are not kept in place, it is almost next to them so they flutter when it blows;)

"It feels like I have bangs" said Frida when I brushed them down hahaha!

(It's good when your best friend is sitting in the make - up chair, then you get to joke a little extra hehe)

Picture no. 1 and no. 2 is before and after. No difference at all, the only difference is that she will not have the same problem anymore! In picture 3 you see that I have cut them, and they are so short now that I have brushed them down as much as I can.

Had these been my eyebrows, I would have cut them a little more from the underside, and then brushed them upwards and cut from the top as well. But if you want to be on the safe side, it is enough to cut like I did on Frida!

Hope the post was helpful!
Hugs are :)

Pink & Brown

Today's make - up is a make - up for none other than my beautiful friend Frida!

She is so incredibly nice unmade up also with her cute freckles, but today wanted a look that draws focus to the eyes and matches her nice light pink sweater with Mickey Mouse. So I fixed it! :)

Cutie pie!

before-and-after makeup

The basic make-up is entirely from Yag mineral. I have conjured away her pimples but not put too much on the areas with many freckles, because I still want them to be visible! And then supplemented with both sun powder and blush (the shade Apple Blush) which gives life and radiance to the face!

The lips is Paese Manifesto Liquid Lipstick in shade 912.

Eyesthe shadows I have used it is light pink and dark brown from Paese Kashmir Trio Eyeshadow in shade 686. I LOVE this trio palette! :)

Mineral powder and dry skin

Many have learned / teach that people with oily skin should have mineral foundation while people with dry, mature and sensitive skin should have a liquid foundation because powder looks very powdery on a dry skin. But I want to crack the "myth" here and now!

This rule is based on the fact that many powder foundations can be so, but in my opinion this is absolutely not true when talking about a good mineral foundation! (Note that there are powder foundations that are not mineral foundations).

A liquid foundation may contain more moisturizing substances, etc. that help the skin during the day, but a good mineral foundation with 100% pure minerals is great for sensitive skin that is easily irritated by products on the face. And if you massage the product into the skin with a soft brush, you do not get the powdery result at all, but it blends well with the skin and gives a opaque and natural result.

In other words, a mineral foundation works gallantly on all skin types, then it's a matter of taste which foundation form you prefer to work with.

If you have such dry skin that you have a lot of skin flakes or still think you have got a powdery result (or just want extra moisture anyway), then you can just spray a face mist over the face and you moisturize and get the powder to settle more natural on the skin! I use Sanctums Face Mist, it is super good :) In fact, I myself think that many liquid foundations make the skin flakes visible more than a mineral foundation!

I have received many reviews Yag minerals foundation (formerly called nudh mineral) by people with dry and sensitive skin - who love Yag mineral! So there we have proof that what I am writing now is true :) Most recently yesterday I received this comment on Modernmom.se:
review yag mineral foundation

So you who are eager to try mineral makeup but have not done so due to your skin type, try it! :)
