Simple, gray sweeping

A cold, gray eye shadow is perfect for both everyday make-up and party make-up, and I was now going to show a super simple everyday make-up with such a gray eye shadow, and tomorrow you will see how I can very easily turn it into a party make-up instead :)

It's all based on the fact that a gray sweep is basically a lighter variant of a classic black smokey eye make-up. It therefore becomes bright as an everyday make-up and in everyday clothes and everyday situations it looks like a "regular everyday make-up", but at more festive events the brain connects it more to a lighter smokey eye.

The eye shape plays a small role when you want this make-up to be perceived more as an everyday make-up, because if you have droopy eyelids or simply such an eye shape where the eyelid is not particularly visible when looking ahead, then you can apply quite a lot of eye shadow without taking remove the everyday feeling. But if you have larger eyelids that are clearly visible all the time, then you can choose a lighter gray eye shadow or not apply so high up, because the more eye shadow that is visible, the more party the make-up feels!

Details that make the make-up look more everyday are not painting eyeliner at all, and / or just putting make-up on the top of the eye. Bright lips make a make-up look more casual as well. Today I have done something in between, I have painted eyeliner but skipped makeup under the eye, and have light pink lips.

Surely the lip color is nice? I have mixed two of Paese Lisptick with argan oil, more specifically shade no.1 and no.35!

The gray eye shadow in Golden Rose Palette Smokey Eyes is incomparably nice, like pencil-gray, and I have also used the light eye shadow to brighten the look a little more.

Fint va?

Excuse my generalizations in this post about what is an everyday make-up and what is a party make-up, it is of course individual! :)

Red lips that last a long time

It was a blog holiday Sunday yesterday, but I was not free but worked with a shoot in Uppsala all day, super fun!

I have put Golden Rose lip products to the test before and know that durability is good, but yesterday I got another proof! I made up the model with Golden Rose lip liner and lipstick, and improved the lipstick on the model only once (then after about 5 hours) and then she ate an energy bar and drank water before the shoot and not even after that it needed to be improved at all during during the entire shoot!

What I used then was it red lip pencil (shade 54) in the contours to get sharp lines, and then I filled in the whole lips with Velvet matte lipstick (shade 19). I did not fill in the contours at all for the whole day, but it was only in the middle of the mouth that it had disappeared a bit.

The reason why the products have such a long shelf life is because they dry and are fixed on the lips for a while after application, and then it sits still on the lip instead of "sliding around" as creamy pins and lip gloss do. These products are creamy when you paint with them, and then when they are completely matte, they do not feel as dry as many matte products can do, but they rather do not feel on the lips at all!

Here is a picture of me in this lipstick! (not with the lip pencil added)

Two thumbs up I say! The lip pencil costs SEK 69 and the lipstick SEK 79.

Basic makeup may he

Yesterday I wrote a post on Modern Mom about Paese's foundation which is specially developed for mature and dry skin, read the post here!

There were many who wanted me to take it to the webshop, super fun! I will try to fix it soon, it will be a pretty big purchase at once with products where you need different shades, but I will try to get it in as soon as I can :)

In addition, I want to test it a little more before I decide, ie on people who have mature skin and not on my oily and wrinkled skin which is quite the opposite hehe.

The first to be a test rabbit was Miska's mother Oili! The result was really good on her :)

Here is the result! I only have one shade at home so far, so it is not a perfect shade match on Oili but you can see the result well anyway :)

I have supplemented with an enlightening concealer, powder and glow powder that is also from Paese. As well as bronzer and blush from YAG Mineral.

Of the Paese products I have used, it's just that this bamboo powder which is in the webshop so far.

Here's how I did it step by step:

basic make-up-mature-skin-step-by-step1. Make-up.
Foundation that is applied with a flat foundation brush from BH Cosmetics.
Enlightening concealer on selected parts of the face, also put on the eyelid after this image.
4. Fade the concealer so that it blends in well with the rest of the skin.
5. Bronzer, matting powder, glow powder and blush, to get a more lasting result that looks more vibrant!

Surely it turned out well? :)

Ombré lips with lip liner

I published these pictures on Modern Mom a while ago and suggested ombré lips:

I rarely make ombre lips when I go away because it is not as quick to improve as if you only have one color to draw over - you can even do that without a mirror. BUT these are made with lip pencil and therefore last much, much longer! :)

IMG_0085_1111These lips are made with Golden Rose two lip pens that are now available for purchase here! :)

Apply the light color in the middle and outer edges with the red, super easy! The pens cost SEK 69 each.

HUG on is !! :)
