Make up small eyelids

Nora sa…
Hi Helena! Do you have any make-up tips for me that have such "small" or thin eyelids that even a very thin eyeliner fills the entire eyelid? In addition, I have a hard time painting right next to the lash line because my eyelashes start quite far up. ”

It's hard to say exactly without seeing your eyes, but look straight ahead in the mirror and look at exactly what areas are actually visible, and focus there instead!

For example, if you put an eyeshadow on the eyelid, then look at how high up you can apply the eyeshadow so that it does not end up too close to the eyebrow so that you feel uncomfortable, but still end up above the eyelid and the crease so that it is visible even when you look ahead. . Then it does not matter if your eyeliner is the only thing that is visible from the eyelid, because the eye shadow is also visible a little further up!

And make-up details that you want to be seen more, a nice color for example, you can instead apply it on the lower lash line or in the corner of the eye, then you do not have to "mess" with the eyelid and your make-up is visible all the time :)

Image source (before I drew on the picture myself). Here is an eye shape that also does not show the eyelid except when the person is blinking. Then how big / small the eyelid is when the person closes their eyes is not as important in this context.

In the left picture I have shown that if you apply the eyeshadow on the entire eyelid and continue a bit upwards, your eyeshadow will still be visible when you look straight ahead.

In the right picture I have put the nice color on the underside of the eye instead, because then it is visible all the time :) Here I have also shown that such eye shapes fit very well in smoky eyes!

Now you got some basic tips, but if you are wondering more about any specific detail, just shout.

Hug!

Makiash Perfection Eyeliner

Makiash is a fairly new Swedish make-up brand that I have just started testing, and now I thought I would show you their liquid eyeliner - Perfection Eyeliner Jet Black!

The eyeliner is like a felt-tip pen and the tip is long and really thin at the top.

My first impression of this was really good, it is super easy to apply, paints carbon black and sharp lines, dries quickly and lasts well all day!

The eyeliner is water-resistant and rubb-proof (ie does not withstand water and rubbing at the same time) and is easy to wash off.

The only thing I think is a shame, but which is a common problem with such long eyeliner tips, is that after a few uses, the color does not "manage" to reach only the top, which makes the super-thin tip a little unnecessary as you still have to tilt the pen a little and paint with the page.

I will definitely continue to use it anyway because it still gives a super nice eyeliner, but it's a shame that the tip is a problem on an otherwise pretty perfect product :)

From day to night!

Yesterday I showed one gray everyday make-up and explained how to easily make it more / less everyday. Now I was going to show how to quickly turn the look into a more festive party look with two make-up products! :)

This can be done in a minute and is perfect for having the make-up with you in your handbag if you e.g. going to after work or similar!

day-and-evening makeup

1. Soot a black, glittery eyeliner along the lower lash line.
2. Change lip color to a shade that is more visible!

Then you can change the rest of the look also to emphasize the party transformation even more by, for example, changing your hair, changing shoes, putting on large jewelry, etc. All depending on time, place (handbag or at home) and of course what it is for events you are going to :)

Kajalpennan I have used to the lower lash line is Paese Linea Automatic Eyeliner, it is glittery and has a soft "fade top" so that you quickly and easily get a more smoky effect!

The new lip color is Paese Lipstick with argan oil in shade no.2!

What do you think? :)

Mix lip colors

Many people do not think that they actually have much more lip colors at home in the make-up bag than they think they have, because it is super easy to mix two lipsticks with each other and thus get a completely new shade!

That's what I did in yesterday's make-up when I mixed Paeses lipstick with argan oil in shades 35 which are very light, and 1 which is bubble gum pink. I first applied the pink shade no. 1 as usual to the entire lips, and with the help of a make-up brush, I then dabbed on the light pin on top of the pink. In this way, you do not have to smear the colors of the lipsticks together, but simply mix them on the lip instead.

The result was a light pink almost nude shade that is super nice :)

Answer about YAG mineral

Camilla sa…
"Hello, sweetheart.
I was going to order yag minerals foundation but it was out of my color. Or think it's my color anyway. Soft latte. Can you write in the blog when it is back in stock.
I have problems with my pores on my nose being visible with powder and liquid foundation. Have tested lots of primers but nothing helps. Does the yag settle in the pores? ”

Hey! What fun that you want to test YAG minerals foundation, now all foundation colors are in stock again :) I am usually good at ordering before it runs out but there have been so many specific shades lately so suddenly it just says bang so a product is out while I have lots of one another shade hehe.

Concealer Covers red is the one that is finished right now but it should come tomorrow or on Wednesday!

YAG Minerals does not emphasize the pores, on the contrary, but a tip is to work a lot with the brush (recommend YAG Minerals kabuki brushes) because then you buffer the foundation into the skin, which makes the pores visible even less and also keeps the makeup longer then and gives a more natural result.

I can also recommend L'Oréals Blur Cream for those of you who have problems with visible pores, it is great I think! But I do not have much problem with the pores, so for me it is enough to just work a lot with the brush.

Do not miss that I have also added Paeseassortment! :)
